I can't believe someone voted yes . Lol, must be a funny fan

Anyway, I live in London and NEVER EVER i'll give my money to the Jacksons.

Voted. No.

If that was me who voted "yes" and then read your comment I probably would be put off from doing so. It would feel like I'm being called out. There's a big history of people getting shot down for going against the main view of the membership.

I agree. We can't intimidate people from stating their truth.

Not everybody who voted discuss their decision...I voted no (Too bad there's not a " Hell NO" button) and did not even mention it in my previous post.

People should be free to decide...but I really believe, fans who know the backdoor dealings will be put off.

Educate.

If someone voted "Yes", they shouldn't be afraid to discuss why they are attending. Unless of course they haven't been following this thread at all and don't know exactly what they are saying "Yes" to.

Its a maybe for me though most of me is saying no. I have family in Wales so it would be no problem going there, its diffeicult I want to attend a tribute for Michael but this has all been organised terribly, wrong timing, wrong ticketing, wrong everything. I think its more a no unless things drastically change!

I understand why people would want to go. Don't we all want a magnificent tribute to Michael?
But to me, the organizers only proved they sucked at organizing anything and could not be trusted with money, whether it's ticket fares or donations. They have showed to be rude, disrespectful, and liars, and basically seem to take us for complete idiots. Also, I'm having serious questions concerning the behind the scenes deal between GL and the Jacksons.

And that's just without talking about dates, ticket price, ticket distribution, and donation system.

So that's a huge NO from me, as long as the Estate is not in charge.

Absolutely right! And I don't accept their explanation regarding the timing for this event.

people i know about their galaxy of star *looking around and whispering*
it is 3T AND REALOBEE WITH LITTLE GEN *RUNS*
about censoring people ,remind me again they are doing this tribute to a man who voiced his opinion about injustice.smh

Who voted "Yes" and then didn't have the guts to discuss their opinion in here?
hun..thats the idea of a anonymous poll...people dont have to discuss how they voted one way or the other...besides that was one of the things that I said when I asked the poll to be added to this thread..."people can vote anyway they want" Thats' ok..people should be able to attend without being made to feel bad. different things help different people.cope.

^I agree, they shouldn't feel bad for having their own opinion. I'm just interested in hearing their opinion.

No disrespect to the Jackson family but WE are fans of Michael, not the Jackson family. Over the years Michael did so much for the family financially that they need to thank us instead of us thanking them with this "tribute", we all know they Jackson family will get paid for this tribute.

Once the Jackson family realises that they are "good" but Michael was THE star they will realise that the fans WILL pay for a Bad tour DVD or something like that but not for some "tribute" concert. We all know what Latoya said.........Jermaine's song: Word To Be Bad, Joe.........do I need to continue ???? We are intrested in Michael not that the Jacksons want to release another cd........or go on tour , who gives a damm ??? The Jacksons WAS and IS Michael, the Jackson's succes WAS and IS Michael (no disrespect to Janet)

Michael was about LOVE, the Jackson family is about money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought they were supported to open the tickets registration today....

it looks like the registration starts 5 hours later without knowing a single artist - well good luck with that

and unfortunately their fb page has turned into a hoax page

^Yes. A lot of people are asking if Michael will return at this concert and shit like that.

So the artists will not be announced between now and then? I expected them to be announced at 18:00 London time, the time they should have been announced yesterday.

Whoever voted yes or maybe should not be bullied.

Please show me where anyone was bullied.

Well, I don't blame them, considering that's the card Hunt played. Remember the article Ivy posted? It's ridiculous and cruel.

yeah that's what I meant. a lot of people are asking if Michael would perform, if he's coming back etc. some think that "major artist with close ties" is actually Michael himself. so sad for them.

oh my..that is really sad..all this tribute has done up til this point is cause hard feelings for fans...cant the Jackson's see this? I have tried to look at this whole thing from their point of view to...they are Michael's family...they lost their son..brother...I am sure for some this is their way of healing,,,and maybe it is me that is wrong...maybe I am being selfish to think that the family cannot try and heal their own hurting hearts with this tribute. IDK....imo...it is still the wrong time for this tribute..they should be seeking justice before a tribute. also maybe some of them feel as thought they cannot go sit in a courtroom day after day and hear this ish that is going to be said about Michael. again idk. All I know is that I wont be at the tribute...I like many of you will be right here,,,,looking at live feeds and watching it on tv...screaming at the tv...ugh,,,,NOT looking forward to any of it..:(

It's both sad and kind of funny that these are the only type of fans they can manage to be interested in their 'tribute' concert. I think even if Michael was alive he wouldn't touch this event with a 50ft pole.

Also, Michael showing up alive would complete ruin the family lawsuit and their chances of getting even more money so they would suggest Michael to stay dead longer.

so no new updates since yesterday....even the Jackson family have to admit that this is starting to sound fishy. The least they can do is confirm that they will announce the 'acts' today.

and look to this from a perspective of an international attendee (someone outside UK)

For example I looked to New York - London plane tickets are 670 dollars, 2 nights in a hotel would be cheapest around $200 and then you have the ticket cost cheapest around $100. so it's like at least $1000 for international attendees.

Now if I'm gonna give that much money I would want to know to artists to see if it worth it and I would need to confirmation of me getting the tickets for sure so that I can go ahead and schedule the trip and reserve plane tickets and hotel rooms.

so are they only aiming for people from UK?

You read my mind. In order for me to spend that kind of money and make a trip to the UK, the show has to be spectacular (Honestly, since almost all major artists nowadays tour in North East U.S., I don't know if there is any show that is attractive enough for me to cross the Atlantic Ocean to attend.) Also, I need more time to plan the trip. For me, two-month notice is a bare minimum. I need to check my work schedule to see if I can take off in October and postpone my winter vacation plan. To complicate matter, the organizer will not confirm my seat until days before the show. They just make it impossible for me to attend.

Originally, I'm saddend by the fact that there is no official tribute for Michael. I so wanted a respectful tribute like the one for Freddie Mercury to take place. But now it doesn't bother me anymore. Fans pay tribute to Michael in our own ways everyday. He lives in our hearts. We have our own Michael Jackson tributes, which are actually more sincere.

Tribute or no tribute, he lives forever.

I still hope the organizer of this Michael Forever Tribute can get their acts together. For fans who are able and plan to attend the tribute, I wish them a wonderful time and nice memory.
