Yep, what a mess!

And although I didn't see the initial press conference, I could have sworn that I read something about Mrs. Jackson saying that "once she heard all the artist that would be involved with this tribute, she knew it would be fit for a king." (Or words to that effect.)

I now wonder if Global Live told the family that they had a GALAXY OF INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTARS already lined up.

Once again: WHAT A MESS!

The management teams of some of those BIG STARS "probably" don't want their clients involved with the Jacksons and their NUMEROUS dramas.

It's bad for business, and those BIG STARS ain't trying to hear from a bunch of angry Michael Jackson fans. LOL! They know what time it is!

Okay, so I read the above AGAIN.

So are they saying that they will delay the announcement, because of ONE new headline act. Meaning that they were ready to make their announcement today as planned, but now want to amend said announcement so that they can include ONE more name?

Is that what those FOOLS are trying to say. LOL!
 
Disappointing..I was looking forward to hearing who was included in the galaxy of stars. Stalling definitely seems like what they are doing.

I figured something along those lines, when they didn't just name the performers in the very beginning. Who the heck gives a press conference without providing the list of performers.

That "trying to build momentum" was a bunch of crap, in my opinion.
 
I don't like to hate on the Jackson family but deleting facebook messages isn't the way to go..... listening.. now that could be the key.

Why did they go on talking all day as if everything was going according to plan. The Jacksons obviously didn't fly to London and then decide to postpone it.

They delayed the announcement of ****THE GALAXY OF STARS**** probably cause they have no one..

But is the ticket registration also delayed? No. Still written 1 day countdown on the site... So they REALLY expect people to register without knowing the artist list... wow.

Since some people say that those who'll register (poor them...) will not know if they actually get a ticket couple of days prior to the show... if (read 'when') the show is cancelled.. will they refund the ticket price, ..or the charity donation? Or will it be cancelled after the fans will have paid their ticket.. or before... hmmm....

This is an embarassment... really...

If the Estate has not yet done a tribute concert, it's because IT IS NOT YET the right time to do one. Period.
 
I'm confused. Is it already past the time the announcement was supposed to be made? I'm in the U.S. BTW, this is Sarrah Nunyabidniz. Giggles all around for the comments on what's going on with that mess of a FB page!
 
Hmm they're going to name the NEW headline act. The implication from that statement is that the previous headline act has pulled out (it wouldn't be good for the Jackson's to push the previous headline act down to second best). Either that or they didn't actually have a headline act to announce and now have to wait until all the legal dealings are confirmed...

Either way this is the usual disorganised and unprofessional approach ...

The announcement was going to be in about 40 minutes but it has been postponed.

When you have a TRIBUTE concert, do you really just have ONE HEADLINE ACT?

I mean, for instance, if The Estate of Michael Jackson was handling this tribute and they secured Jay-Z, Kanye West, Gaga, Beyonce, Madonna, Prince, The Black Eye Peas, Ri-Ri and Usher, I don't think they would be able to call any one of those acts the HEADLINE ACT. In my opinion, they would all get "similar" billing, if they got any billing at all.

(P.S., in my opinion the list above is the type of STAR POWER the Estate would be able to pull.)

I don't trust them on either front. Just one more money grab that ends up looking embarrassing for the Jackson family.

Will they ever learn? I'm guessing not. But at the end of the day, I'm guessing that they will "begin" to realize that they do not possess the POWER within the industry that they think they do.

If the Estate (not the family) ever does a MJ tribute concert (I hope so) and they can get Prince... I'm there in the second!
