Randy's own daughter Genevieve 5-6 days ago said that she will be going to the Grammy's. That no one from the family invited to the grammy's seems just a thing to stir a debate or bad mouth the executors/ grammy producers etc.

They will have PLENTY of opportunities, Michael Jackson was the biggest entertainer in music history. He will have a constant flow of , tributes, honors, recognitions,awards ect.

If they want to do it then fine, but that statement is wrong, had to point it out ;)

Im not talking about Joe trying to get money from Michael's estate. Im talking about the Joe and Katherine fighting against Branca whom they dont trust and so they shouldnt seems Branca tried to steal MJs catalogue with Mottola in 2003.

He does not in any way, shape or form. It is entirely Mrs. Jackson's decision, she is their guardian.

I note that the article is quoting 3rd hand, pretty unreliable if you ask me.

His legacy and music will live on, but he won't be getting more Oscars and Grammys. Thats just not going to happen. This Is It. This is the year for his awards of recognition for a lifetime of great entertaining.

I don't know if they'll let her. I also wonder if there is anybody else who is also waiting to get paid by Katherine and the court has already ruled in their favor.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if she is also attending the Special Merit Awards ceremony on Saturday night too. Regarding the bold, you could be right.

Probably. The article says two so I bet its either Randy & Oxman or Oxman & McMillan.

Probably not or she would have done it. I think they already had a bankruptcy filed. This is one of the reasons everything was in Michaels name.

The flip side to this is they got a lot of money from these people and spent it all back when. Michael didn't get squat and he is the one who had to pay.

They did fight against him and Katherine withdrew her contest in November.

Also, that was proven to be a false story about Branca and if you are going to use that argument than you must know that his own family tried to get him to sell that catalogue in 2005.

If that story above is true, Michael would had changed his will to get rid of Branca. If they was another will somehow, why has no one come up? You need several witnesses for any will to be legalize so there is no way that a will could disappear without anyone noticing. Especially if the people in question didn't even know if he had a another will.

However, this is completely off topic so I won't go any further into it.

Michael Loved Katherine, he thought she was perfection, saintly in fact. Please don't knock her, as Michaels fans we should be with him. Also when you say 'Which is why no one in that family should be trusted with alot of money'. It's a pretty bold statement to make, you don't know the ins and outs in fact most of the stuff we do know is based on tabloids etc... They earnt the money, they can do what they want with it. You realize some musicians who have passed away have had new music (recorded before their death) later released which qualified for Grammys? If the song is used for a movie, it could also qualify for an Oscar (Best Song in a movie). It's just a matter of what the Estate does with what's left in the vaults as far as albums, movies, etc. in the future.

katherine accepted the executors, It's just Joe/Randy/Oxman crying like babies


Again, Oxman was their lawyer against the south korean newspaper. He didn't show up before the judge in this case. Now we see the result

You can be a good person and suck with money. I have alot of people in my family who are nice and kind and can't balance a checkbook. Taking any money before you secure an act is a bad business move by any standard. Never paying off the sue if even worst.

Also, they are not good with money. The only person with a stable income is Janet, Marlon, and maybe Rebbie. Everyone else depended on Michael to the point that they are living in his house.

Not knocking the family, just stating facts.

great news if true . As for the grammys not inviting the family .....Did not they claim the same with This is it and blamed AEG and Sony and then they all attended . They sure like to play the victim alot .

and if true the executors told the family (Jermaine and Latoya ) they have no legal right to go and collect awards on behalf of MJ then THAT IS WONDERFUL , FINALLY .

wow I do too....but it brings the question again to me of.. what does Janet do financially for the family?

was it just solely... Michael...Michael...Michael...???

couldn't Janet loan her mom the money to get that monkey off her back...and then her Mom can pay her back
monthly from her inheritance? ... as I understand.. Michael's estate is taking care of all Havenhurst expenses..so Katherine could payback the loan

I just don't understand... I just don't understand how Joe and Katherine have 2 millionaire kids and yet only one of them is hounded to do his part...for eveRY BOdy!!..at least that is how its been looking for YeARs..

I never thought I would say this BUT .. i think the executors are more focus on keeping up Michael's legacy than some family members..

that is weird, how come noone on the direct Michael family was invited but Genevieve was and 6 days ago, someone CNN or Joe or the Grammys is just laughable,

i just cannot believe that the Grammys didnt ask any of the direct members of Michael to be there, thats a LIE, someone made that up... come on.... its NONESENSE...

Michael cleared up his end with these people years ago, but I suppose it was expected that MJ would bail them out as well. He did'nt and now the debt has ballooned to 8mil and in all that time nobody else cared to resolve this issue. I keep telling people that it does'nt seem to me that Janet lets go of her money that easily, family or no family. So I say again, ultimately its MJ's money that will be paying this debt off, ironic huh?:smilerolleyes:

I think Katherine is very secure financially and even if she does not get money $ 60.000 a month are enough to take care of her and the kids and the number become even higher recently .Even if she has no loan to pay , she will not get that money and spend it herself , the money would go to others . we all know the amounts are ot enough to satisfy everyone and take care of everyone in that family ,so they would fight and fight and cause Katherine stress all the time , everyone of them would try to get the higher percentage of her money , I feel it is a blessing she has not to worry about her children fighting to get her money .
