NO not yet lol...I have some 3D glasses I took from seeing Avatar in 3D. I don't know if those are just as good or if I should just go to Target and get a pair.

Yeah, thanks everyone for being here to watch the event. Even though it might not have been what some were expecting, it's great to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun :)

Hmm....well...just got home from work and... while I'm very confiused :scratch:, I'm also very relieved. While I was driving home, I started crying just thinking about them accepting this award, 'cause it just hit me again that he is gone... I mean, this really sent the mesage home - the thought of them making a public appearance at a Grammy event - things are *definitely* not the same anymore... :(

On second thought, I'm way less relieved by them not accepting tonight...because that means the chances of them being there tomorrow are pretty good. And the atmospheric difference will be like day and night...literally. :no:

Yep :) Its been nice to have everyones company these past couple hours, getting along and not descending into arguments or having to read snide comments. I wish it could be like this all the time.

DONT y'all remember what happened in 2006 WMA? They said Mike would be performing Thriller...But Mike didnt even know about it. And some fans went to the morning show and said how upset they were that Michael didnt perform...And how it was a waste of time...

I loved What Delio said...about Michael calling and saying "Can you believe what this person said on the Grammys tonight?"...and he'd laugh histerically and hung up...:lol:

Dont slauther the family cuz they didnt come. They might have a good reason. I think the award is gonna be given again and a family will accept it tommrow...

it was incredibly easy and they had more than plenty sitting around... so i would say go get it but, we did just get 8 inches of snow so be safe.:agree:

Is the tribute going to be at the beginning of the show? I hope it's not late in the show. These shows don't interest me anymore and I am only watching for Michael.

I'm not sure but I feel by them not accepting the award it tells me that they will not be at the Grammys . Today's ceremony was sooo low key compared to what tomorrow is. If they were ready they would have accepted the award, not Frank.. :scratch: I'm very confused now :p

Evening all i have been away from the computer tonight so have no idea what is going on and cant physically read 70+ pages lol i am really sorry if these questions have been asked before but would appreciate it if someone who watched would not mind answering them lol

I am guessing Michaels children were not there and Frank accepted the award am i right??

Will there be a live stream in hear tomorrow??

Was there a tribute to Michael tonight??

Also what time is it on UK time tomorrow??

And I think there will be a stream.

There was a tribute, but just as it began two backstage presenters cut in to talk about Michael and pretty much ruined it. You couldn't understand them and they were talking to each other, not to us about Michael! After they went, Frank came up. So yeah, they didn't show the tribute video.

And I'm not sure about the last question ;)

Oh god, the thought of that... :cry: I'd almost rather this have just been a rumor, a product of the Jackson-hungry media monster, than to think that they had to go through something as emotional and stressful as getting upset or scared and backing out. :no:. :cry:

Yeah, but the fact is MJ has been honored with literally hundreds of awards. And I know it's the Grammys, and that's special. But they sure didn't acknowledge him as they should have during his lifetime.

He's got about 15 grammy's, and 8 are for Thriller and a couple for We Are the World. That means he's got about 5 other Grammys for a body of work that span 45 years. Until Thriller, they practically totally ignored him. And after it and We Are The World, they did ignore him. That's why he was so driven. He wanted proper due acknowledgement from his industry.

Artists with lesser product are already closing in on his number of Grammy wins and in half the time.

I'm glad they're giving him the recognition he so richly deserves tomorrow. If they didn't, it would be a monumental slight, and they know they'd get hammered for it. Plus, they know he'll help their ratings. And yes, a family member should be in attendance, but if they don't show up, it'd be understandable to me. The Grammys certainly didn't show up for MJ when it should have.

I agree. Maybe the Jacksons ditched the grammys? IDK, its more likely at least one member will show up to accept the award...I mean they can't send Frank up there again. it'll look too weird.

Frank said "I'm accepting this for Michael's children" plus he didn't seem to have a speech properly composed.
