Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

This is just my personal opinion but I think the word "coincidence" is being overused here for the simple fact that a "coincidence" is accidental, it's a chance happening although it may seem like it's planned. If what is being interpretated are intentional actions being shown to us the fans by Michael, imo it's more "deliberate", there's a reason, it's done with a purpose, thought out and planned, or maybe that's just my imagination. LOL

Oh well, there all kinds of signs shown to us throughout life, and all have a meaning and reason. :cheeky:

SOS, I really don't know anything about this song
("Ecstasy" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gL9H7GU0F8Q)

I just found it one day. It says "written by Michael Jackson." Was it? Don't know. I have no idea who the singer is, either. It's beautiful, though.

Sounds like Beyonce singing. Such a beautiful song and seeing Michael in the video is very overwhelming to me

^^I love the hot footage of Michael in both videos.. all I know is, that Ecstasy and Breaking free are poems from Dancing the Dream...
(love that book..)

"Breaking free" is actually very relevant to the Love in the Dark story as it looks now..
Just read it one more time.. and wow thanks for making me aware of it!

Breaking free

All this hysteria, all this commotion
Time, space, energy are just a notion
What we have conceptualized we have created
All those loved, all those hated

Where is the beginning, where's the end
Time's arrow, so difficult to bend
Those broken promises, what they meant
Those love letters, never sent

Maybe he is talking about the whole mystery of the universe and everything.. the pink part has been constantly one my mind since this thing happened with Michael.. oh I wish I could bend time's arrow for you Michael.. and then I would go back to March 6 and warn you!

The poem also reminds me of the sentence that was on the big screen at the memorial, when it ended.. "I'm alive and I'm here forever".. that sentence must be taken from the song The Man, which also talks about being free..
The first verse goes like this

There's a man
Who plays the game of life so well
Ooh, there's such a man
His thoughts you can never tell, ooh
And it's just the way he
Thought it would be
'cause the day has come
For him to be free
I'm alive and I'm here forever

Sorry I don't know if any of these things make sense...

It's possible that the girl was psychic, but that doesn't make it any less miraculous?

In terms of the recent trend of this thread, I'm not a biblical scholar, exactly, but the appearances of the name "Michael" are interesting?

There's been something I've been wondering about. . and sorry if this is digressive? There are many songs on the internet that say, "written by Michael Jackson." I've never been sure. . were they? And if so, how did they get "out there?" The song "Ecstasy," that I posted above, is one of them. Another is "Breaking Free." Are you familiar with this one, anyone? I've always found it to be dark, and mysterious. Anyone want to tackle an interpretation?

It's an instrumental. In the video, there is a couple at first. .
they look "biblical."
And then a couple on an earthly plane. The man in either couple is NOT Michael
, but Michael's image appears in the video, as he performs. Overlaid on all of this is an unrolling highway at night, as seen by the driver. I've always found the music and imagery to be eerie, and bleak. But, I don't know if Michael really wrote the music, or had anything to do with the video? Or maybe someone was "channeling" and it doesn't matter? Somehow I get the impression that this is similar to "Who Is It?" The woman is with someone who is NOT Michael.

So, anyone seen this? What do you think?

Absoutely Stunning..!

The "biblical" couple "lovers/soul mates" are from the film Lord Of The Rings...hence time of past.

Earthly couple...the present

The poem and the lyrics of the song are different, though. Here's the poem.

Ecstasy

I was born to never die
To live in bliss, to never cry
To speak the truth and never lie
To share my love without a sigh
To stretch my arms without a tie
This is my dance, this is my high
It’s not a secret, can’t you see
Why can’t we all live in ecstasy

Ecstasy Ecstasy
Why can’t we all
Live in Ecstasy.

Without a guilt, without regret
I am here to forget
Tainted memories of imagined sin
In every friend, kith and kin

We have come to celebrate here
The getting rid of every fear
Of every notion, every seed
Of any separation, caste, or creed.

This alienation, fragmentation, abomination
Of separation, exploitation, isolation
This cruelty, hysteria, absolute madness
This anger, anxiety, overflowing sadness
Disrupted ecology, wanton destruction
Diseased biology, nature’s obstruction
Endangered species, environmental pollution
Holes in the ozone, defying solution
Is not knowing the spark that lights my interior
Is the same fire, glowing in every man, child, and mother superior

We have come to celebrate here
The getting rid of every fear
Of every notion, every seed
Of any separation, caste, or creed.

Feeling free, let us fly
Into the boundless, beyond the sky
For we were born to never die
To live in bliss, to never cry
To speak the truth and never lie
To share our love without a sign
To stretch our arms without a tie

This is our dance, this is our high
It’s not a secret, can’t you see
Why can’t we all live in ecstasy

Ecstasy Ecstasy
Why can’t we all
Live in Ecstasy.

Hmmm.... interesting that today is St. Michael's Day. Very cool. :) Man, I woulda had my very first MJ concert on this day had all gone well. :( blah.

Anyway, since you all were on the meanings of names, I just wanted to add this little tidbit in case it wasn't mentioned already. It seems during the last couple of months or weeks of Michael's life he also found interest in the meanings of names. He shared the meaning of the name "Michael" - "he who is like God" with Michael Bearden the musical director for TII becuz they have the same name. He explained to Bearden that they had to try to live up to their names while remaining humble. I thought it was very interesting that he would say this as if he'd only learned about the meaning of his name for the first time. Maybe he knew long before or maybe he hadn't. Perhaps he decided to do a deeper study of the name and it's history. Not sure. I guess the point is that he had a strong awareness of it on that day to the point where he felt compelled to share it with another Michael.

Michael Bearden mentioned this in the Ebony tribute magazine. I'm at work now and don't have the mag with me to type word for word, but maybe someone else will find the direct quote on the net or a source link before I get home. Just thought I'd share that tidbit.

Name meanings and the history behind them can be very interesting. :)

How could that have been a coincidence? I have never had a child hand me a daisy in my life and I have children. They've handed me plenty of dandelions. You asked, and you received. Sometimes I think that is the biggest mistake we make is to discount signs or significance of seemingly little things. Things like Michael wearing clothes in relation to this thread communicating in really the only way that he could I suppose, in a way we would know if we paid attention and allowed ourselves to read into it. I think we just don't always want to presume things for fear of appearing a fool or fear of offending?

I want to write so much more about all of this about posts here.. I'll come back. Just busy at the moment. I'll return when I have more time.

You are right. You convinced me. I don't want to doubt anymore, that it was a real sign.

Well, I hope that it wasn't just a co-incidence.. :) But I think I have reason to believe that it wasn't..

Anyway, my friend said that this girl, had said to the 2 year olds mother, that he thought that this little girl was a psychic!
I then decided to tell my friend the story about the daisy.. and then my friend were like.. well.. I AM the one who taught her to pick daisies... it was like she didn't like the thing that other girl had said about the girl being psychic, so then my story couldn't be worth anything either.. hmm don't know..

It sounds like a sign from something greater to me. :)

Everyone is born with some kind of natural psychic ability, some people throughout life have learned how to develop theirs while others choose to disregard it exists and maybe just think of it as strong intuition. I think a child is not able to recognize the ability they have or what it may mean when a spirit/sign is channeled through them that an adult may take notice of. Also, children are pure, honest and innocent, their minds are more receptive and open to things, such as spirits. Have you ever had a child talk to you about their imaginary friend? It just might not be imaginary at all. Pretty interesting. :)

Cool I believe that "something" a spirit of something.. (Michael...hihi) made her do it.. because it was just at the "right" moment.. I was so sad.. and then it happened..

Yeah I ones had a boy talking to me about a monster that lived under his bed.. and I totally believed him..

It's the poetry along the side that the person is talking about that Michael wrote. Not the music itself. Someone just made a video and picked music to go along with those poems found in Dancing the Dream. (Sorry this is a short post, no time to talk at the moment)
The song in that one video is

Kissing you, by Des'ree originally (I think). Beautiful and fits nicely in here. Especially the Romeo and Juliet theme if he is indeed gone.

Soulmate is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.

Some people believe that souls are literally made and/or fated to be the mates of each other, or to play certain other important roles in each other's lives.

According to theories popularized by Theosophy and in a modified form by Edgar Cayce, God created androgynous souls, equally male and female. Later theories postulate that the souls split into separate genders, perhaps because they incurred karma while playing around on the Earth, or "separation from God". Over countless reincarnations, each half seeks the other. When all karmic debt is purged, the two will fuse back together and return to the ultimate.

A nearest and dearest best friend of mine told me that I am the kind of person that "looks outside the box"...that is what makes us so unique, different.

Keeping that in mind...there is a much deeper consciousness that many, not all recognize on this earthly plane.

Therefore;
All the answer to the questions we as a society seek about Mr.Jackson has always been there...

I totally believe that Michael has an "other half" or soulmate.. I think he sang to her always, songs like "We are here to change the world" "Earth Song" "Heal the World" "Will you be there" are for her/them.
They were suppose to change the world together.. maybe Michaels marriage to Lisa was not the best move in terms of getting together with his true love, but how could he know at that point..

And can I just add this...

What do you guys think about this? Is there still a chance for them, is their love universal..?

Michael Jackson Ascends

By Lynn Brewer
mj_ascends_large.jpg

Dear Reader,
As I noted in the welcome (see below), this inaugural post of "Love, Light, Beauty and Truth" is dedicated to the late Michael Jackson, and the spiritual impressions and insights which gently unfolded in my mind and heart about his essence in the days after he passed. I would like to share those impressions and insights with you now.
Michael Jackson, as many of his loyal fans have suspected, was not only human. In the depths of his soul, Michael Jackson also belonged to an intergalactic, interdimensional species of Christ-conscious beings who were known to the ancient Egyptians as the Hathors.
Human awareness of the Hathors, and their role in human evolution, has increased significantly in recent years due primarily to the work of men and women who have been tasked by the Brotherhood of Light with reviving the ancient mystery school teachings of Atlantis and Egypt, and who as a part of their spiritual work are in regular contact with the Hathor consciousness. I have provided links to their websites on the left-hand side of this page, and will be citing their writings about the Hathors in depth here.
Maureen St. Germain, a facilitator for the ancient mystery school teaching known as the mer-ka-ba, describes the Hathors as "the most intelligent, most advanced race in the solar system." According to St. Germain, the Hathors "only represent peace and love," "function only through sound," and "hold the flame of absolute love on the planet Venus." Tom Kenyon, a sound healer and channel for Hathor consciousness, writes on his website that though "the Hathors do offer information in the form of language, their primary mode of communication is through catalytic sound patterns."
Perhaps the most beautiful, detailed, contemporary description of the Hathors comes to us from Drunvalo Melchizedek, the founder of the modern-day teachings on the science of the mer-ka-ba. In his book, "Ancient Secrets of the Flower of Life: Volume II", Melchizedek writes the following:
The Hathors were the main or primary mentors within the Left Eye of Horus Mystery School. Though they were not from Earth, in the ancient days they were always here to assist us in unfolding our consciousness. They loved us dearly, and they still do. As our consciousness became more and more third-dimensional, we eventually could no longer see them or respond to their teachings. Only now, as we grow, are we beginning to communicate with them again.
[They are] a race of fourth-dimensional beings who come from Venus. You don't see them on the third-dimensional world of Venus, but if you tune to Venus on the fourth dimension, especially on the higher overtones, you'll find a vast culture there. They are the most intelligent consciousness in this solar system and they function as the headquarters or central office for all life under our Sun. If you come into our solar system from the outside, you must check with Venus before proceeding.
The Hathors are beings of tremendous love. Their love is on a level of Christ consciousness. They use vocal sounds as their means of communicating and performing feats within their environment. They have amazing ears. They have almost no darkness to them at all; they're just light-pure, loving beings.
Hathors are very much like dolphins. Dolphins use sonar to do almost everything, and Hathors use their voices to do almost everything. We create machines to light or heat hour house, but the Hathors simply use sound through their voices.
For a very, very long time they have helped people on Earth, almost always through their love and their incredible knowledge of sound. …The Hathors were here on Earth helping mankind for thousands of years." (pp. 278-279)
As I noted at the outset, Michael Jackson was, in the depths of his soul, also a Hathor. At some point in the journey of his soul, perhaps many thousands of years ago, Michael answered the call of the Galactic Command for more highly evolved, higher dimensional beings to come to planet Earth to help raise the planet's vibration and thereby prevent its self-destruction. As many higher beings have done for thousands of years, and are increasingly doing in ever greater numbers on the Earth at this time, Michael Jackson's soul sacrificed his higher level of consciousness to incarnate as a third-dimensional human being for the purpose of helping humanity. As the Hathors did in ancient Egypt, Michael Jackson worked primarily through sound, using a high, pure vibration to fill our airwaves with messages of hope, love, light, harmony, peace, unity, beauty and goodwill. In so doing, he touched the consciousness of millions (if not billions), brought healing to our hearts, and fulfilled his soul's mission of helping to "make this world a better place for you and me." Moreover, by incarnating as a black man in this life time, through his own DNA Michael elevated the vibration of the continent of Africa, and of all people of African descent.
As is evident to us all, in the fulfillment of his soul's mission, Michael Jackson suffered greatly. This sensitive soul was crucified by the corporate media - a media which nowadays serves as one of the foremost, modern-day crucifiers of human beings who stand for a higher frequency of love, light, beauty and truth on Earth. Michael Jackson was often misunderstood, and more than this, he was repeatedly flogged, mocked, scorned, derided, and ridiculed before the public. So was Jesus Christ was in his day:
They hung him high,
They stretched him wide,
He hung his head, for me he died,
That's love.
Michael Jackson apparently also carried a heavy karmic burden, as evidenced by his birth number, the number 29. In her book "Star Signs", the late astrologer Linda Goodman calls the number 29 "a number of perhaps the heaviest karma of all." She writes that the vibration of this number:
tests the person or entity for spiritual strength, through trials and tribulations echoing the Old Testament story of Job. The life is filled with uncertainties, treachery and deception from others, unreliable friends, unexpected dangers, and considerable grief and anxiety caused by members of the opposite sex. Its a number of grave warnings in every area of the personal life and career.
Was this not the life of our beloved Michael Jackson, in all of its highs and lows, and in all of its sadness, brokenness and glory? However, as we sing in the African American religious tradition, I thank and praise God that "Trouble don't last always!" For, as the scriptures remind us, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)." And so it is with our beloved Michael Jackson, for, though he was bent and broken on this Earth, he has now ascended back into the Christ conscious state from which he originally came. This is the revelation, the good news, the message which I am so extraordinarily blessed to bear to his fans.
Michael has liberated himself from the wheel of life, death, and rebirth, and now joins that great brotherhood of Christ conscious beings who have silently served humanity and the Earth for untold ages: the Ascended Masters of the Brotherhood of Light. This beautiful "Sun of Righteousness", who arose with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2) and in his songs, has this day, ascended and mounted up "with wings like eagles" (Isaiah 40:31) to be with the Lord, where he will continue to serve humanity in his own beautiful, glorious and silent way. He has been greeted with all love, glory, reverence and honor - and thunderous applause - by that blessed heavenly host for the life he lived on Earth.
In honor of him, it is my prayer that:
- the media (and its often voracious consumers) will one day cease to crucify the bearers of love, light, beauty and truth;
- that the music industry will cease to promote degradation and, in recognizing that sound is sacred, instead choose to promote the love, light, beauty and truth which Michael stood for;
- artists who have been misled into believing that they must appeal to the lowest common denominator in human consciousness to earn money will recognize in Michael an example of one who upheld the highest order of love, purity, beauty and truth while at the same time reaching millions on the planet and earning billions of dollars for himself and others.
- That the people of the Earth will come to remember their oneness with one another and the Creator, as Michael would have wanted, and work together for the advancement of humanity and all life on planet Earth.
And to you, beloved Michael Jackson, my heart and soul sings aloud with absolute joy: "Well done, well done, well done!"

Postscript:
One of my favorite videos by Michael Jackson and his brothers is "Can You Feel It". If you watch it to the end, i.e., a version that shows all seven minutes or so of it, you will clearly see that the video is an inspired imaging of the coming of the Kingdom of Christ on earth. Moreover, from the liquid fire erupting from Michael's hands, to his radiant smile, glowing aura, and the golden rays streaming from his head, the video beautifully illustrates the truth of "Christ in him - hope of glory." I cannot watch it without crying. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do, and through it, remember the truth of who you are, and of your own soul's mission on planet Earth.

Watch: "Can You Feel It"
The lyrics to the song are inspired, poetic, beautiful and true, and are provided below.

"Can You Feel It"
(Words and Music By Michael Jackson and Jackie Jackson)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
If you look around
The whole world's coming together now.
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Feel it in the air
The wind is taking it everywhere.
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
All the colors of the world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly.
Yes it's alright, take my message to your brother and tell him twice.
Spread the word who tried to teach the man who is hatin' his brother,
When hate won't do
'cause we're all the same
Yes the blood inside of me is inside of you.

Now tell me!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you see what's going down, you can feel it in your bones
Every breath you take,
Is someone's death in another place.
Every healthy smile,
Is hunger and strife to another child.
But the stars do shine
And promising salvation is near this time.
Can you feel it now,
So brothers and sisters
Shall we know how.
Now tell me!
Can you feel it, tell me can you feel it, can you feel it!
Talk now can you see what's going down open up your mind.
All the children of the world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly
Yes it's alright
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice.
Take the news to the marchin' men
Who are killin' their brothers, when death won't do.
Yes we're all the same
Yes the blood inside my veins is inside of you.
Now tell me!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!

:( Reading this made my heart hurt so much that was the hard truth. This really happened to him... unfortunately.

God is sometimes cruel, but I think that this "cruelty" that He does is for our good and for us to be ever stronger in the face of problems and difficult situations. I always I saw Michael this way: a very enlightened and blessed by God with an endless and incredible strength. Every obstacle that Michael could survive, he was getting stronger.

This song is perfect for Michael:

Look At Me Now - Kirk Franklin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zULScQ2JtaQ

Persecuted, criticized, been denied and abandoned
Pushed away, given away, some days I couldn't imagine
Getting harder, getting colder, was hard for me to see
Tired of runnin', tired of hurtin', even got tired of me
Tired of cryin', tired of tryin' to forget my mistakes
Tired of bein' in this storm, how much more can I take
Many nights in my life, tell me why
I shed more tears, my eyes would allow
And after all that

Look at me now!
I'm stronger this time around!
Not because I was so good, but somehow
You looked past where I was
And you knew I'd come through cause You loved me
Look at me know!
So many didn't make it through
That's why this heart belongs to only You!
How can I complain ‘bout the pain I went through
Cause it grew me
Look at me now!

Had no hope, had no future, even too hard to dream
No one told me, "boy, you can be whatever you want to be"
Then You saved me and You gave me reason to breathe again
Not perfect, ya'll, but I'm gon' run ‘til I make it to the end
(It ain't easy when your life's filled with wounds that won't heal)
And you fight through the lies trying to find what's for real
Everyone wants the prize but they can't stand the pain
The strength I needed it came that night I cried out Your name
To my people in the struggle, all my soldiers and believers
To my survivors of Rita, Katrina and even FEMA
(All things are working together for our good)

Look at me now!
I'm stronger this time around!
Not because I was so good, but somehow
You looked past where I was
And you knew I'd come through cause You loved me
Look at me know!
So many didn't make it through
That's why this heart belongs to only You!
How can I complain ‘bout the pain I went through
Cause it grew me
Look at me now!

Yes, I've seen some hard times
Some bad choices that I've made fell back on me
But now it's time to move on, move on
Can't let my past hold down my destiny
And even though I don't always know
Why you allow the night to last so long
But when I see the sunlight
It was only to make me strong

I'm better now! I'm closer now!
I'm thankful now! I'm happy now!
Look at me! Look at me!
I'm stronger now! I'm patient now!
I'm grateful now! I'll praise you now!
Look at me! Look at me!

About the video Victoria posted quoting Michael's poem:

- as Sdeidjs pointed already the images include some scenes from the Lord of Rings; Liv Tyler (I love her dad btw and Aerosmith as a whole) and Viggo Mortensen feature in the scenes which could very well be taken from the last installment of the trilogy - "Return of the King"; Viggo is quite a Rennaisance artist, he is a Danish-American actor, poet, musician, photographer, and painter. I actually remember watching the premiere of Return of the King on Christmas day 2003 at a cinema on Gran Via in Madrid; it was a wonderful experience

- I am not 100% positive, but I think the images some have been considering as 'current story' are also from a movie, staring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves - the Lake House, it's from 2006 and it has a pretty interesting plot, i'll let you all discover it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410297/plotsummary I haven't seen the movie, I remember hearing about it, the story behind it and watching some scenes, so it is an almost educated guess on my part, but I do think the scenes of the two of them embracing are from this movie

- the video itself is made by a fan who I think is Italian, ramss70 who has made a lot of great collages using Michael's poems from Dancing the dream; he also made the one featuring "God" with His eye is on the sparrow as soundtrack (where I could swear I hear Lauryn Hill towards the end), the link for which MimiK provided to us a few months ago, if you all remember when that whole discussion about God being refered to as "she" in Michael's poem ensued; I remember clearly my own position on that one LOL Also I don't think anyone needs reminding that "His eye is on the sparrow" is also one of the songs Gladys Knight performed on September 3rd; connections, connections, connections, maybe even where there aren't any LOL again

- the highway images - did anyone realize what a great driving soundtrack the BOTDF album is? Be it during the night cruising in the middle of town, or down the highway, it is greatttt; i love to listen to Michael's music in the car; I was doing just that today when coming home from work. I still think doing a remix of Earth Song is as close to a musical sacrilege as it comes, but I listened to it anyhow.

About Archangel Michael's holiday - I was reading earlier this morning the explanation for the name on a calendar and the last line said that the natural answer to the question posed in the significance of the name is, of course, No one is like God. I actually inteded to go to church for the service today, but I got caught up in the excitment to buy my TII movie ticket for October 28th that I forgot. :D

Lily, thank you so much for sharing with us the link to the Prayer. It is also one of my favorites songs. I love the version Andrea did with Celine Dion for the 9/11 memorial concert shortly after the attacks, in fact that is the version I know. In any case, it is a heartwarming song with incredibly inspiring lyrics and amazing melody. Thanks again :)

Shabuya, thanks for all the great info on the video and film! Anyone know where the music comes from?

The movie plot is fascinating. A dysjuncture in "time?" (Oddly, my computer locked up when I was reading the movie plot. . . . )

You're welcome Shabuya.:)

The Lake House is a good movie, I hope you get a chance to see it sometime. :)

I love that poem it's one of my faves from dancing The Dream!

I don't know if this has been posted before but I thought it's a beautiful description that bruce Swedien gave about Michael recording in the studio, almost poetic.
From GQ Magazine September 2009

"Michael records in the dark" he says, "and he'll dance. and picture this: You're looking through the glass. And it's dark. With a little pin spot on him." Swedien lifts his hands to suggest a narrow cone of light shining directly down from overhead. "And you'll see the mike here. And he'll sing his lines. And then he desappears"

It seemed he loved the dark ;)

No prob Victoria, glad I could help. :D About the music....ramss says in the comments part of the vid that the song is called A secret shared, on the album The storm within by an artist/band called Tellurian. I must admit I have never heard of them, but I do know the meaning of the word - anything pertaining to the earth.

Yeah Lily, I hope I'll see the Lake House movie one of these days soon.

I gotta give thanks again to Victoria and ashtanga for puting links to Kirk Franklin music. I admire him sooo much. I believe he even had some nice comments to make about Michael. He is another of those artists that I would have loved to see Mike collaborate with. In fact, another huge regret of mine that I didn't mention in my post yesterday, but something I've developed some more in the Christian thread in the General discussion is about the spiritual music I would have loved to hear from Michael, besides of course the classical masterpieces which he also composed.

Earlier I was talkin about Lauryn Hill singing His eye is on the sparrow. I actually found the confirmation in a small clip from the Sister Act movies, which I adore http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nvsWQwd53I&feature=related. The complete version of the song which ramss used in the video for "God" is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7Pk5YMkEcg&NR=1. And since I mentioned the Sister Act movies I guess I can go into the six degrees of separation of Mike and not fail to mention Whoopi and Thomas Gottschalk (the blonde chef with the curly hair) who both appear in the movie. Thomas is the host of the Wetten das? (Wanna bet?) show in Germany where Michael performed Earth song in 1995 and made an appearance in 1999, i think.

Going back to Kirk Franklin - I know Christmas ain't exactly around the corner, but one of my favorite songs for that time of year is his and it's called "Jesus is the reason for the season" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb5GoGnSQ0o. Another is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIRFE_1huMc&feature=related from the Sister Act soundtrack.

I betta stop before I begin to 'see' snowflakes outside my window, which would be near impossible not only because of the month, but also because of the sheer darkness outside. That kinda reminds of the Vanessa Williams song "save the best for last" where she sings about snow in June. Am I all ova the place or wha? LOL Night folks.

Shabuya, I love Kirk Franklin! He has an amazing voice and the lyrics of their songs are beautiful. He and Michael have done a great partnership. The two combine very well musically. But I also love seeing Michael teaming up with the "Seal" and "Maxwell", I also love.

Thanks for sharing the video of "Jesus is the reason for the season." I love this song! :)

Victoria,

what ramss has done is put many of Michael's poems/reflections from "Dancing the Dream" to video and use other music to accompany. The poems themselves are in the vid description. I LOVE what ramss does with these poems and vids/songs and I have several of them in my own favorites. Such as "God" and "The Fish That Was Thirsty".

Anyone want to tackle an interpretation?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4irj7-2Le4

It's an instrumental. In the video, there is a couple at first. . they look "biblical." And then a couple on an earthly plane. The man in either couple is NOT Michael, but Michael's image appears in the video, as he performs.

He was a very mysterious man...that one of the reasons i loved him

Look at me! Look at me!

:)

Wow! This is a great song, ashtanga!!! Kirk Franklin is a warrior!!!

ashtanga you almost made me cry with Look At Me Now - Kirk Franklin!!
I hope that Michael will feel how much he is loved and understood by fans!

"You are not alone! I'm here with you! Thinking of you!!!

And... I agree that the mystery MJ fascinates and delights!

Wow!! Michael the best! I love you so much!! :flowers:

Me too! :wild:

The mystery of Michael fascinated me, this is one of the reasons I love him so much.

I love mysterious people.

*Tha, thanks! :D

Yes, the real Michael was not only mysterious, but he was kind, generous, loving, courageous, charming and brave - a real modern day knight in shining armor, if there ever was one. Every time I hear the song, "Glory of Love," that I posted not too long ago, I will think of him, since something about that song reminds me of him. I guess that's how I always envisioned him treating a lady, real edwardian-like, like a real storybook hero. He will be missed. But at the same time, as you all say, he is still very much here. Well, I know he is. I can sense his presence all the time, as I'm sure you can too. You can't kill a soul that beautiful and powerful and I know I WILL see him again one day very, very, soon, visibly with my own eyes in a better place and time. There really is a place for us ... somewhere.
