Premonitory dreams? When reading this excerpt of his post, so I came to head. Sometimes you see a person first, but you feel like you already saw her somewhere, but you can not remember from where, you can not remember when and where you saw that face. Dream? :scratch: Could be.​

Just imagine that for a minute as if it were you. You dream of this man, and you wake up knowing you just met your soul mate, but you have no name or face to recognize them by, just the spirit, the soul. You know him so well "with a tender touch you know so well". You would know his touch, his thoughts, his spirit, but not his face. You dream of him various times throughout your childhood till young adulthood where you have a harder time believing in such things. In the daylight hours you may discredit the whole experience even though it burns so strongly within you. Every part of you, except your practical realistic side, says it was real. So eventually you brush it off as just a dream, but so real a dream. You try to forget it because it doesn't make sense. It doesn't follow science or rational thinking, but you can never quite forget it. In fact you never feel the way you had in person with another how you had felt with him in your dreams though you search for that feeling in someone. You felt more real in the dream than you do in real life. So that memory gets stored away and you live your life.

Would that be possible? Could it just be that the dream they had was their ideal and how they wanted to feel when in love, and when they found someone who was all that they felt they had been looking for, those feelings resurfaced and it isn't supernatural at all? Just a way to recognize someone who suits you? Or could it be more?

Just some thoughts.

(I didn't have it as Michael Jackson in this example necessarily, but just how I could see something like this happening. If it were Michael Jackson in this example then something like this could happen without her even knowing still that it is Michael Jackson on the other end of the phone. An outrageous idea yes, but it'd be romantic, and it's just thoughts.)

In fact, you did it so perfectly, that I would say that you are the girl in Michael's dreams and you just came to realize it! :p

But yes, maybe she doesn't know that her man is Michael..

Yeah, it happens a lot... And maybe could be because our souls meet other souls when we think we're dreaming but we're actually wandering around...

Exactly! But having premonitory dreams is not something common. I think only the very special people have. People as well developed sixth sense. Maybe Michael has premonitory dreams and do not know, not know that it is a premonitory dream, a warning is sent to him through a dream. Who knows Michael walks dreaming with your other half... so they already know through the dream...​

And I remembered a fact now very curious about the singer of the band A-ha... he had premonitory dreams throughout his life, he not only knew... He just found out and thought they were premonitory dreams as adult. And his story is very interesting. Also dreams become reality.​

Wow, my thoughts are flying away. lol! I think it is sleep... :wild:​

:D Wouldn't that be nice hey? Maybe I already realized it years ago :eek: Guess I won't know till we meet then :cheeky: Maybe I am...woohoo!!!(but I'm not a telemarketer..lol) Or maybe I just watch too many Disney movies :wub: lol what a dreamer hey?

But maybe, if that could be, then all this stage has already passed. Maybe they already know by now who they are to each other and that's why we are seeing the sparkle in his eyes and hearing the love in his songs.

That sounds like my kinda movie. I haven't seen it before. Sounds interesting. This is nice, it's gotten all dreamy again and sweet. I like when we all add our thoughts like this and let ourselves imagine and dream. It's nice :) :cheers: like girl talk. (oops, I see a man in the thread.. lol I wondered what happened to you. I love that line too. It reminds me also of the line in the Anita Baker song that says, "my weary mind is rested, and I feel as if my home is in your arms"

Really? I would like to hear more. It's funny, we live our lives but never really know what is normal or not or if our experiences are unique or if everyone has similar ones, because we only live our own lives and no one elses. If you have things in your life that happen and you don't talk to anyone else about them, or read about them, then you don't get to know if it is a common or unique experience. I wonder if we all have premonition type dreams but just don't recognize them as such. Can you tell more about that?

Hate to make this love story even more complicated than it already is, but then again, why not?:D

What if the two people in this love story are seeing each other in their dreams, but when they wake up, only one of them remembers the encounter - I'm talking specifically, Michael! After all, in his songs he talks about how vivid and "real" his dreams are, but what if it isn't that way for her? What if she wakes up and actually, for whatever reason, doesn't remember a thing? I mean, in her waking hours she may know she loves Michael and everything, but what if she is unaware that she has been visiting him in her dreams?

Perhaps this ability was given to him only so that he could get to know her better since she probably isn't famous; but she wasn't given the ability to see him vividly and remember the encounter because she already knows him anyways since he is already famous. She wouldn't need to see Michael in her dreams. She can see him anytime.

I think this could lead to a lot of confusion and pain. Michael might have thought she rejected him or found another love when she didn't immediately come forward, but maybe that wasn't it at all. Maybe she just didn't know this was happening.
 
So she wouldn't know that she loved him? Or at least on the surface. Maybe subconsciously?

That would complicate things in a different way to the one I had imagined.

Oh, no, I'm not saying that she doesn't know that she loves him. She may full-well know that she loves him.

But, maybe she is unaware that she has been with him in some other dream-like state of being or realm or wherever it is that two people meet "spiritually" and when she wakes up she may not even remember it, but she still knows that she loves him.
 
So it would be more of a fan-like love then in that scenario? Without knowing that she knew him. (I think I'm getting too tired to wrap my head around all this stuff suddenly..lol) Sorry I've suddenly gotten real dense due to needing to fall asleep I think.

(about the A-Ha guy, I was googling trying to find something to read about this but could find nothing. I don't know where to look. Can you help me out please Ashtanga so that I can read more? Thank you)

It is a very interesting story. The story is well... One person I know that is very fan of the band A-ha who told me that history. It is about the singer of the band A-ha Morten Harket. This story he told in an interview for a magazine. I had a Brazilian girl who dreamed as a kid with a kid. This girl was growing and this boy's dream also grew up with it in adulthood. One day this girl has the disc of A-ha and she was shocked that the boy who grew up in the dream she was with Morten Harket and so far she did not know the band A-ha. She became a fan of the band and decided that one day the boy would know of his dream. In a show (he says in the interview the country), she has known Morten Harket, and he has a scare when he saw her. You know why? Morten Harket also dreamed since childhood with her and also the two grew together in his dream. She was the girl he wanted. They talked about it very much and became friends and are friends today. And they almost got married! It is incredible? The two had the entire life and did not know premonitory dreams. The dreams ended with the meeting of them! :wild:​

I keep having dreams lately that I can't remember once I wake up. It's very frustrating.

Oh I got a brainwave here! We can go into the "Dreams about MJ" thread to go find the one who he's been singing about :D

See my previous post. The Mortem Harbet spoke about it in an interview for a magazine. The person who told me, that is many years. That was in the 80s. I do not know if you can find on Google or only in the band forum about it. :cheeky:​

So maybe it is more common than I'd think. Hearing it, it sounds too bad that they didn't marry. It would be the perfect ending to that story, but it's not a fairytale, it;s real life right? So who knows the outcome. Fascinating though to hear of someone that it happened to. You really would just think it's just a dream though, I think.

It is an incredible story. They are friends today. Wow, your friend is experiencing this? What incredible. Well, dreams can become reality. But this is only possible when we dream that this very place is where most want to happen and then everything is conspiring to your benefit.
I believe in dreams and you? :scratch:​
