Great statement there sdeidjs! :clapping:unk:
It so true though.
I am pleased that you are pleased...

Now, how am I supposed to tie-toe around that stuff? Someone pleeeeeese tell me how. This is very difficult to do. I mean, he was in a video with a woman's boobs facing him and he and this women were wearing nothing but towels. He's in a pond with the water just above the family jewels and he's wearing wings, but I'm supposed to act like I don't see this?
He's got a song with the word mojo in it, but oh no, I better not act like I'm noticing.

Y'all MJ is very, very close to being a sex symbol and I can't help but notice. *sigh*
Oh my goodness, in "Break Of Dawn" he wants to take a woman on a cruise. Trust me when I say, he is not talking about a ship!
You know, every once in a while this thread takes a turn for the negative and it only happens when someone comes into it, starts an agument about not liking what's being discussed when the only thing that is actually being discussed is what MJ himself is singing about.
Then, these very same people that do this feel like they are being singled out, but do not realize that by starting an argument in a thread that is about love and romance they are actually waving a flag so everyone will look right in their direction.
Discussions about love and romance involving Michae Jackson only veer off in a negative direction when someone cannot handle the thought of him being fulfilled romantically. It happens whenever the feeling is real.
I am so glad that MJ doesn't allow anyone to dictate to him if he can fall in love or not. That man would never have a love life at all if he allowed that to happpen.
Also, did you notice this? It just dawned on me last week! lol
The song "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" has a line in it that says, "My life ain't worth living if I can't be with you," right? He's actually mentioned this very thing when he, out of the clear blue sky, wrote a heartfelt note that said, "I'm living for you and the children."
That can only be for the one that he's changed the tone of his love songs for. He is now living for her and the children.
From the "Invincible" CD on back, he used to mainly thank the children of the world for making his album possible and he used to mainly write pledges about doing everything he can to make life better for them. He's even set out to change the world so they will have a better future while growning up. He's being working really hard to keep doing his part to help them as a very wealthy celebrity that has a lot of pull.
In Living With Michael Jackson he told Bashir he would jump off a balcony if anyone ever said there were no more children in the world. Then one day, he writes a note that says, "I'm living for you and the children?" Who's that "you" person?
It is her and he feels like he has found someone to love that is worth living for. It also explains why "One More Chance" is ending with him saying, "I can't stop loving you," as well as him saying he's going to take another chance at loving again.
The love songs released since "Number Ones" are showing he is indeed taking another chance and from listening to the way that he sounds, he is happy that he did. What if he didn't give love another try?
You know what else he said in "I Just Can't Stop Loving You?" He said, "At night when the stars shine, I pray in you I'll find a love so true," right?
Now look at the love song he wrote during the trial...the song "You Are So Beautiful." In this song he says, "Your true love showed me the way...the way I had to go." And, then in "The Way You Love Me" he said the line, "...I thank the heavens above."
All the things that he has been doing and saying; the way that he looks; and the way he has been smiling are pointing to him being in love yet again.
If we could do a graph based soley on his love songs by years, we would see the line gradually going up, reaching a peak, going down and then back up again.
Just finished listening. Heck nawwwww! I am not crazy! Mike went there!
And go and read the lyrics for "Butterflies!" Specifically, the third line of the verse after the first chorus! Now, how am I supposed to overlook what he's saying! LOL
Sorry peeps, but when "Mr. Paradise Mike" sings what he wants to sing, I'm gonna listen to what he's saying the way he is saying it!
In "Dirty Diana" he has a line where he says, "She's touching me so to start!" Where do you guys think she is touching him? Oh wait! Can it possibly be the exact same place that he's letting Naomi Campbell touch him in the "In The Closet" video? Heck yeah!! I bet Naomi hit the bulls eye in one take! And who else touched him? Oh wait! Could it possibly be the one in the song "Dangerous?!" Ya doggone skippy! Doesn't that line go something like this? "And then it happened....she touched me!"
Ain't nothing wrong with my ears! I'm hearing exactly what Michael Joseph Paradise Jackson wants!.
^ I would like to hear what you might think, and others here, too, of what MJ's love songs have been saying over the years about how he feels about loving one lady.
I think, AllForMJ , you have alluded to this before, but one thing that he seems to bring up in different ways all through his songs has been "marriage" and also, his strong desire to find "true love" which I think for him, based on many song lyrics, means a love that is everlasting..."for all time." And the third prevailing theme would be his wanting God's intervention in finding and bringing together he and this lady, "a love so divine."
I'm curious to know if in the earlier, (Thriller. Off the Wall) tunes, if you all think the things he is saying in the lyrics indicate that he has already met this girl?
Or do you think he is talking about just an "ideal" and then later God arranged for him to meet the lady and she fit so well the ideal that earlier songs could actually seem to be about her?
Do the lyrics seem to suggest he met the special one before Thriller, or during Bad, or after, as I think MP recommended, after Dangerous... and his heartbreak?
Do you think, AllForMJ, or anyone, that the messages about the way he feels about loving one girl, for which he might be getting across in the Invincible songs, or the songs that came after, are consistent with the types of themes in Off the Wall and Thriller and Bad's love songs?
After all MJ has been through and after all the love songs he's put out over the years, do you think MJ is basically still the same in the way he views love and what he wants out of a love relationship with one woman?
AllForMJ, hopefully this very beloved thread has no need to die. Your very many intelligent and insightful posts have blessed and stimulated so many here.
I'm sure everyone would say, "We want more!!!!"

I don't think the songs indicate or prove when Michael met the one i.e his first wife or first major love. I just don't see the songs proving that. The songs on History don't seem to refer to his wife, though he seemed to be very in love. Maybe that shows his songs aren't so literally connected to his love life. He could be just telling a story with some songs.
I don't know that Michael would feel that songs mirror(ed) his ideal woman, ideal as in a good match.
I think Michael would be more ready for love now than during Off the Wall to Dangerous because he reached a point when he was ready to slow down. He had accomplished enough to focus on married life & raising a family, but I don't see the music proving this. It seems like Michael likes his art to give messages illustrating his desire to help make the world a better place by encouraging others to try to do the same. As for mapping out what was happening in his love life, I don't think the songs prove what was happening, but that's just me .
When MJ came out here for his autograph signing my friend asked him for a kiss. She asked him in front of people. He told her yes and then they kissed each other on the lips. He liked that kiss and he liked returning it in front of those watching.
After getting that kiss from her, he wanted her to stay there with him until he finished signing autographs. He told her to come and see him that evening at his hotel.
When she asked him for what, he looked at her and said, "To see me."
When she asked him what he meant by to see me, he gave her the look that men give when they want to spend quality time with a lady, he slowed down his words and repeated "To...see...me."

Aww that is cute
Well, Love.him, you can believe what you want to believe. But, I'm going tell you this and then I am moving on.

And with that, Love.him...I am done. Take it what ever way you'd like.
Now, I'm going back to having fun. I don't feel like being mad. Maybe you do, but I had a nice weekend and I'm going to allow it to be extended into today...
:lol:Oh my...I don't know if my post was worthy of quoting twice...maybe not even once. But thanks for sharing your thoughts on it, Love.him.
AllForMJ, I am glad you are being so light-hearted and cheery.
I don't think anyone would say that MJ has not included some sexual references in his past songs.
But I think this thread could carry on well with discussing it's topic without going there. This thread is talking about MJ being in love at this present time, and did he meet the girl originally in the dark? Do we see signs of this in his lyrics? Is that not the topic of this thread?
It has already been mentioned that bringing up this other side of MJ, which true is most likely there, that it is too personal of a subject and not being respectful towards Michael. In a way, it is like sensationalism...which usually steers one from the more important aspects or substance of a person. And I beleive it was MimiK who brought up that a beautiful part of love is the eros type of love, I am sure MJ has that in mind to incorporate in his relationship with the woman he loves. But that is private and personal and we dont need to go there, nor discuss his involvement with other women in the past in that way either...even if it is obvious in his lyrics.
It has no bearing on his new love. It's the past. So there is no need to discuss it...even if it went on. And MJ may have been the one to include such references in his songs, but one can be bolder in the arts. It doesn't mean he would bring these things up to a person who he is having a conversatation with in real life, or be happy about others talking about it on a public site.
Just in case he would feel some invasion through this, let's be considerate.
But let's continue talking about the topic of the thread.

queen g, it's close to impossible to do that now. Strife always destroys love and romance. But let's continue talking about the topic of the thread.
Okey dokey, Love.him. Why don't you go and created a thread to provide me with a model of what you would prefer to see and I'll come over and check it out. Come get me when you're ready for me to see it. How's that? I'm willing to come over and observe if that's what you would like. You see, AllForMJ, it's not just me who sees a need for respecting MJ's privacy!
queen g, I'm just going to come on out and say it this way...No, it is not impossible. It is only if you want it to be.
Everyone has an opportunity when they are feeling strife to rise up above it and do the right thing. To behave with dignity and respectfully.
when Sneddon was trying to attack MJ via this forum during the trial? You .
that sure is the truth :yes:If an individual disagrees with you on one point it does not invalidate everything you have shared so far or contributed to this lovely thread. You are well thought of here.:better:
wow I haven't been online since the day after my last post and during that time period we were ..... lessee ....
....posting songs from "her" potential p.o.v., some were responding to my 'book' about potential "meddlers", and I was waiting with baited breath for someone to take on MimiK's song list which he feels reveals 1 singular 'storyline' or Love Story, as the list is titled.
What happened? :brow:
that sure is the truth
Could not the song list perhaps narrow things down and that way everyone could use it as a context for making all points PLUS we get to follow 'a storyline' as the thread title suggests...how 'bout that? :flowers:
After noticing that MimaK said that we have to go deeper within to extract 1 storyline from the list, I've had some ideas but, I will have to save my thoughts on that for another time
AllforMJ, you're doing an amazing job of uncovering so much meaning in the music. . . and really looking forward to what you do with that list! :cheeky: that way you could give the individual eras a rest. Its undoubtedly exhaustive work.
To All:
I'd like to dedicate the following song to all of us who have grown by reading one another's observations and others of us who've so boldly expressed our views on the music within this thread...btw, the meaning in this song, is what you make it. :cheeky:
whatever it is to you ...:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:....and whatever it is to me
one of my favorites ..

AllforMJ, these are for you :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: for starting this thread and keeping it on track as you typically do amazingly well. believe it. You are a great strife-diffuser!
:better: and um...
unless I missed something, you could close that limo door any day now don't forget, k?
and Everyone, let's get working on MimaK's list! :flowers: Give this "love story" a sense of direction ... how 'bout that?
That way everybody still gets to make their points ... but with some context
:flowers: (loving everyone here in this thread - God be with us all, for all time indeed, amen)
I gotta make a quick run this morning, but when I come back, I will show you exactly what's getting to me.If something is making your blood boil it might be something else going on. What is it, AllForMJ?
Hey! Hi! Don't see you post in here very often.
Do you feel he's got a honey on his mind, or do you feel he is still going to be crying in future love songs the way he did in "Don't Walk Away?"
