Being an MJ fan is hard sometimes. but there also good in it. i always look at it like Michael said a family of different races and backgrounds enjoying and celebrating Michael life and achievements.

no fan better than the other. it's okay if some of us want to take a break from the fanbase for while. but that doesn't make any of us weak. we all have mental health to worry about.
 
Michael will always have haters. Us as fans should realize that. keep in mind we all have haters. it doesn't matter who you are. some people hate Michael for no reason at all i believe most of them was and still is jealous of Michael. Michael was human being like the rest of us. he cried. he laugh. deep inside he was very lonely. Michael was different. and an easy target.

Michael had haters when he came on this earth and did when he die. the samething will happen to us.

and i understand what JM meant, while in our own little circle. Michael is still hated. honestly i don't care because what i just said in the beginning of this post.

we all have haters. Michael had haters. and still do.

just face it. BUT don't let it get to us. there been and still positive things about Michael.

when i look at Michael i think of positives yes then negatives too due the past and everyone who hurt him and still hurt him. but also the good memories the talent and joy he gave us and still give us to this day.

Michael have haters. but also have a lot people who love him.

Since we are discussing ratings, let’s not forget that the child porn/ NAMBLA inspired fraudomentary had dismal ratings. It seems some people CONVENIENTLY forget that. I guess it doesn’t fit into that person’s negative “@genda”, er narrative.

Exactly. As a former casual MJ listener, I wouldn’t have watched LN if it hadn’t become such a huge topic on Twitter right about the time I returned from my social media hiatus. For me, the case was closed after the 2005 verdict. And I didn’t really follow the trial either, as the claims sounded sketchy from day one. I trusted they’d sort it out, and they did.

I think between active MJ supporters and the small number of very vocal haters, there’s a majority of people who are really tired of hearing anything about this topic either way.

I think too that's the case. The reactions to the last MJ bashing "docu" by the BBC showed exactly that. Even if some of these people still accepts the guilty narrative they don't want to hear about that anymore, especially now when there are clearly more important things to care about. They rather listen to Heal The World which was criticized as "corny" at the time but now gives comfort to a lot of people. It may be idealistic (which isn't the same as "saccharine"), but it's genuine thanks to MJ and its message is simple and clear, and gives hope.

I won't diminish the damage done by the "mute MJ" campaign (sure it's bad PR if prominent media personalities call for your boycott), but it was an orchestrated campaign and not a spontaneous reaction by the public (even if some fell for it). This now clearly shows as people turn to MJ's music for comfort, but even small things like illustrating mask wearing with MJ pictures proves that his place in pop culture is cemented (and perhaps make some people question if MJ was indeed that lunatic as he was portrayed).

As fans we tend to blow out of proportions the negatives and the positives as well. The reality is somewhere in between.

Personally, I wouldn’t even notice when “the media” mutes someone, unless they specifically announce it and people outrage-tweet about it. I rarely watch live TV, never listen to the radio at all, and for news I rely on a handful of credible sources that don’t bother with this kind of things anyway.

I’m really more than ready to leave all this behind and focus on the art and the positive movements, like all those new Heal The World renditions that people are posting during this pandemic. There’s no point spending too much energy on the negative. It brings more attention to these people than they are worth.

Yeah, saw those articles when I googled Michael news -there was another about his feet- and almost regretted googling Michael which I gave up beginning of last year with the news of LNL coming out. It's unbelievable that they'd be writing rehashed crass BS about Michael after all this time.

Just stop googling MJ. If there’s anything worth reporting, we’ll hear it from his music & studio people or other trustworthy sources anyway. The “media” don’t know anything we don’t. :)

Google full of crap when it comes to Michael. back in the day they sort of had a heart for Michael and he was and still is one of most people who are search for especially after his death. a lot search engines crash when people want it to make sure Michael actually passed. nowadays they wanna erase that with bad negative fake old news. when black history started it this year they didn't put Michael in their line up. everybody else but Michael.

they knew what they was doing because during that whole month they search engine didn't really celebrate black history month once everybody got on them for it by using the hashtag all that month #michaeljacksonblackhistory. which i liked it and they will be doing it again later this year in October. some people still using hashtag too. which make me proud.

just the other day prince was helping out with giving food to people during the virus. guess what? there was negative news about prince saying he sorry about his controversial post.

how the heck he needs to say sorry for? for helping people during this virus? seriously? they talk about prince harry and meghan (I don't hate them.) doing the same thing but they gonna leave out prince and make him look like a bad person.

that's one the reason i don't trust or use google too much anymore. they bunch of crap when it comes to Michael and other topics.

I hope his kids be careful. they all know that they adults now so they know now they can bully them just like they did Michael. i really hope and pray that his kids are safe.

I just saw a site change the headline from 168 to 150 then back to 168.Dirty dogs. I tell ya there is an agenda. I now bet those 2 people were from that newsroom.

We can make it happen. Each single one of us has to stop clicking on tabloid articles, no matter how strong the temptation might be. Not even to check what it&#8217;s about. Not even to copy the text and paste it here. Just simply never click on them for any reason. Don&#8217;t tweet them, and when others do, don&#8217;t retweet. Just let the tabloids slowly die. :)

Of course, there is an AGENDA. Anyone who has been a fan of Michael for 30+ years knows 1000% that there is an agenda against him. Also it is very easy to spot those who are a part of THAT agenda. It’s equally sickening AND baffling how some people can dismiss the @genda against Michael when those of us IN THE KNOW(fans, family, music insiders,etc.) have the EVIDENCE of that agenda AND contrived conspiracy. Btw, a person would pretty much have to be a complete idiot to not know what is REALLY going on and it has @#$& to do with bogus allegations. Wake up and smell the coffee. This had to do with power and influence and STILL does, even though Michael is no longer here.

Some really are naive and weak minded if you think the Chandler extortion, the 2005 trial and the fraudomentary has to do with child abuse. It doesn’t. It’s a part of the agenda to destroy the most powerful man EVER in the entertainment industry. Look at the players involved. Look at who introduced this bull@#$&, and promoted it. Exactly that&#8217;s what these tabloids and low life media do. They act like 2 people represent the majority. Believe it or not some pathetic people fall for that crap and spread the negative propaganda that Michael is done or finished. That&#8217;s how the weak minded are brainwashed. Seriously people are going to have to be smarter than that. Of course, when it comes to Michael logic, common sense, and rational thinking goes out the window. So sad!

Exactly that&#8217;s what these tabloids and low life media do. They act like 2 people represent the majority. Believe it or not some pathetic people fall for that crap and spread the negative propaganda that Michael is done or finished. That&#8217;s how the weak minded are brainwashed. Seriously people are going to have to be smarter than that. Of course, when it comes to Michael logic, common sense, and rational thinking goes out the window. So sad!
