This is my message to Sony;

Release the album as you wanted to.
Ignore the 'hard-core fanatics' who have no proof of what they are saying, and who ignore any proof given to them.
Let the rest of the world decide if the album is worthy of Michael's great name.
Do not be bullied into giving up on his Legacy by the 'vocal minority' - as they are a small part of the millions worldwide that buy MJ's records/DVD's - a very small part.

If these tracks are removed and you are wrong, you've taken the last MJ songs off the new album. Instead we'd be listening to LNFSG or something.

I'd prefer the cascio tracks to go on the album with the amount of proof we have so far, and ignore the nutters who have already made up their minds.

No proof will be good enough. ...but do we really have to ruin an album for the sake of a few crazy theories?

Could you imagine if the TII doco was held back because of body double theories?

Boycott what you want, but don't ruin it for the rest of us.

If it would help their cause they would release them. But it won't, so they won't. They can describe their 'proof' all they like - it's not the same as seeing it/hearing it! (And notes on lyric sheets are not proof that Michael sang these vocals - that one was laughable!).

Actually, I want the people who believe it to be a fake, the family who believe it to be a fake, the fans, to go and contact their lawyers and take Sony, the Cascio's, Teddy, whoever, to court for fraud. That should help clear things up.

Yesterday someone asked Teddy Rilley on twitter: Is there proof that it's MJ's voice? Did experts verify it?
And he said: Yes which is why its not in court, cause so much of the truth will come out. Too many pros were on this. Pls wait for the truth...this is what Michael would encourage us all to do. It's beyond us all. Pls wait...no more comments 4 now.

I have been employed by Universal Music in Sydney for only a short while (July 2010) and have an Advanced Diploma in Audio Engineering which I obtained from SAE College, also in Sydney in 2007.

From my experience, the whole "make up" of the voice is different. It's not comparable to songs like 2000 Watts or Privacy, as some people claim - as the vocals in these tracks are unmistakably Michael. His pronunciation, vibrato and character behind the words in these Invincible songs cannot be mimicked, not by another human nor machine.

You can process a vocal over and over again, change the pitch, tone and warp it in such a way he'd be no longer speaking English - but you cannot change a vocal in such a way that the entire make-up of the words sung is different, and the vibrato is pushed and extended to the point it's cheesy and SCREAMS of a fake. If they HAVE altered the song to the point it sounds like Jason Malachi or WHOEVER, release the original demo track and let us hear it and make up our minds.

Another thing to point out is when people claim that it's probably a poorly sung track by Michael, given that it was an unfinished demo. The easiest way to debunk this would be to listen to the parts where the song changes from falsetto and becomes more gravelly. There is obvious points in the song, including the over the top vibrato where there is a terrible amount of effort being put into sounding particularly "Michaelish". It's this PUSH that is the game breaker for me.

The biggest telling point will be when the entire album is released, and the Cascio tracks will be side-by-side with other tracks sourced from Michael's vault.

I wonder if those people who are saying that is Michael's voice ever REALLY listened to him. If they have ever stopped and really listened hard to his songs, to his voice...to the way he sings, he breathes, the way he pronounces words (which is unique).

Yes! Thank you. I just wish it wouldn't have to get to the point of release for people to then go 'Oh yeah, so they are fake'. Because by then it's too late.

Exactly, it's getting frustrating as hell. These people, and especially our friend Deano acts like that we don't know anything, and he actually says Sony gave us proof. Ooooh the songs that have the MJ soundalike...excuse me...bad soundalike on it? Please!!!

I'm also loving the fact the most of the media are ignoring the fanatics as well. I'm praying that continues and the album is a success that some of you don't want it to be.

Perhaps the media/press/Sony have had enough of the fanatics banging on about every little thing over the years, and will just pretend they don't exist. Yes it might cost them a few thousand albums but, if they just ignore the fanatics and protect the rest of the world from hearing the nonsense these fanatics spout, then this album might still sells millions and survive.

I actually meant the thing you wrote to Sony, which was laughable, do you think they care about that? You certainly don't see the big picture in this, that much is obvious. So now you are actually gonna defend the press too, when you talk about 'over the years' ? You can't be serious, but i am afraid you are.

How naive exactly are you? Like i said, you are becoming goddamn annoying, and you are calling us fanatics, yet you have no freaking idea what the hell you are talking about. And i ask again...give me that proof, the proof that this IS Michael's voice on the track. You can't!! But we DO have ears...do you?

To me it seems like you are fine with whatever Sony brings out, even if it's just a few adlibs that are from Michael and the rest ain't...you are fine with it. And you don't respect the real fans , that want to keep his REAL legacy alive, that actually DO care about Michael and that his REAL voice is being put on these records. It's not our fault that you simply can't distinguish the voice when it's so ridiculously obvious.

Here, guys, let me ease the pain for us all: They're just going to say that they stand firm on what they've already stated. Basing themselves in all these "tests" they've done with the forensic sh!t, musicologyst and all this made-up crap, and also in the hand-written lyrics by Michael himself. After that, a lot of semi-fans will chill out. But the rest won't. Sony will still earn money, and will continue not-giving-a-F about our opinions. Shortly after, maybe by the end of the week, the Cascios will make a statement too which will include the scanned images of MJ's hand-writings, like it was a proove...


DO NOT LIE TO YOURSELVES. DON'T WAIT FOR ANYTHING.

Here we were, all of us underrestimating the family's accusations before we heard Breaking News, about MJ's fake vocals... just because we wanted NEW music we weren't listening clearly. But in the end, THEY were right.

Deano, get over yourself. The album will come out with or without the Cascio tracks. You'll get your album tainted or otherwise. Sleep easy tonight.

How about this: If the album is released without the Cascio tracks and they are to the standard of all the other leaked legitimate tracks we've heard over the years, i'll buy multiple copies just to offset the copies you won't purchase because your "baby" (Breaking News) wont be included.

Minority? I think you need your eyes checking as well as your ears...........The majority of the forum, as well as the majority of the fans on youtube and anybody who has heard this song has said instantly itsnot Michael.

You sir are the minority and your going to look like quite the idiot when Sony admit their mistake.

You call us the 'Boycott Michael Brigade'? Get your facts straight, this is the only time any of us here have wanted to boycott anything! The people who boycotted This is It were not from this forum and all of us here were outraged that people were boycotting it!

So either get your facts straight or stop running your mouth about things you dont know. You've only just popped up here over the past week and you act as if you know the full extensive history of this forum. You have have watched from the outside but you havent got a clue unless you've actually been posting here regularly.

Again to summarise:


  • Your in the minority, look around you.
  • First time any of us here have ever wanted to boycott anything.
  • Just thought i'd add this on. Sony wont pay much attention to your message when its within thousands of emails suggesting Sony pull the songs from the album as they are fake.

I agree.To much hate around here these past three days.I'm hoping these threads will be closed for a couple of days so we can all calm down & think for a bit.

I especiallly want some people (we all know who...) to stop criticizing the fans that simply don't believe it's Michael, the ones that have good reason to not believe it. I want them to stop trying to picture us as 'fools' and that we don't know anything. And Deano, still waiting for that proof, it's taking long.
