People, Steve has just vivid fantasy.
We have a member mjdong and I remember something similar happened. One of the members asked if dong is his real name, cause 'dong' means something bad in english.

Yes, those things happen, especially when we find ourselves in the middle of an international community. There is a guy whose family name is Boui and first name Omar. So when you say his name in French "Omar Boui" it means "Boiled Lobster" (="Homard Bouilli")

In the movies you also have that kind of stuff. In Dumb and Dumber Jim Carrey's name is Christmas and the lady's name is Mary.
Another example, Ben Stiller incarnates Gaylord Focker and his wife's to be name is Martha (Focker) in Meet The Parents. But anyway, we shouldn't judge people by their names.

Hold on, are we actually saying Wembley is better than Yuichi's Yokohama concert?? :wild:

I prefer not comment on comments above, simply because some people say they stand by MJ's fan and just judge people before even talking to the right person.
Anyway, I am for real and even had the privilege to humbly work for Michael Jackson in the 00's.

anyway back to topic: the Wembley has deeper blacks compared to Yokohama and details are a bit sharper.
It is DVD, so please take this into account. Songs I saw are WBSS, APOM and HN.

Hope fans are excited to celebrate this release, this is a first :)

Just wondering which version of Yokohama you are comparing the dvd to. Is it the yuchi version or the crappy version?

Are you sure the screencap of Beat It is from Yuichis version? im sure it looks worse then the other screencaps or is it just my eyes? Either way i hope to god the final dvd will look alot better then this!

They are all from best q Yuichi version.

^ lol, u shouldn't judge by these ''remasters''.
Better judge by this. Also IDK only who can reply on this is Richard. He claims Wembley is better than this.

Thanks for that. Funny when you look at the screencaps the quality looks fairly crappy imo yet when you see it in actual video it isn't so bad. I would be happy enough if the quality was something like this.

This is because the person who captured the screens, didn't bother to deinterlace the video! Therefore, we have the scan lines.

For example, when playing a video using VLC Player, it's as simple as two clicks with the mouse to immediately remove the scan lines.

^ Deinterlacing is altering. I prefer raw example. And lines don't make quality worse, it is just different look than progressive video, but not worse.

Hi Rudolph! Yeah, I agree. But I can also see how interlaced screencaps can be misleading to many people as well! I was just pointing out why the images didn't reflect the actual quality. :)

Hi Steve :) Well ok, then here are additional screens. Deinterlaced this time, for those who prefer progressive look.

Thanks Richard Lecocq for all your info excitement level has doubled after having read the comments

I just hope quality will be good! :)

Sound will be great - so it's only picture quality that's a concern really.

But I can't wait for it to be released.

All the Bad tour clips and photos are just...Mikegasmic

Are you kidding me? It would be great it it looked like that (prolly won't)

Oh come on, you really think they would release a DVD with that picture quality? That's the same as that very bad Yokohama concert from 2009. Why would they promote a DVD that has the same quality as a bootleg from three years ago?!

You're right. It will look worse.

The clip you quoted, that video looks great! The dvd will probably be worse than that.

It will probably look a little better and sharper than the '87 Tokyo silver shirt:

I will refuse to believe that but IF it turns out to be true, than hard core MJ fans definitely will be the only ones to buy it - the general public won't care for it.

Come September 18th, your going to be eating your words. The 'Bad' teaser looks so much better than that already.

It WILL look better than that Tokyo concert. Wembley snippets from other dates look better than that

^^^All right. Calm down, everybody. We still don't know yet. I'll wait until I see with my very own eyes. We should be getting something very soon, I hope.
