To start, I did read the entire thread.
First of all, who is Marika? Why do some people keep stating that she is definitely reliable? Reliable in what way? Have you met her? Has she done reporting before? Is she accountable to someone? Is there independent corroboration?
I think the fans versus media mentality that has been exhibited here is unhealthy. Yes the media has disseminated a lot of misinformation where Michael is concerned, but they do come out with good reporting sometimes too. Some stories are better than others and some news organizations are more reliable than others. We shouldn't treat all the media as purveyors of tabloid filth. Personally, I don't see any reason to trust a random letter on the internet. I am not saying what was written was not true, but I have no way to verify the content so I will not take it at face value.
One thing that bothers me is how Marika leaped from "Michael looks frail" to "Michael is anorexic." Assuming she is correct in her observation, there could be many reasons for frailty besides anorexia. If she jumps to conclusions so easily, it makes me feel like I cannot trust her judgment.
Additionally, Michael has always been extremely thin. The recent pictures I've seen of him don't make him look any thinner than he did in the past. I went back and looked at the rehearsal pictures after reading this thread, and I still don't see it. The parts of his body that are visible-- his hands, face, arms, neck-- they look normal. Maybe the rest of his body looked emaciated, but I don't see any reason to disbelieve Lou Ferrigno and the others who say he looked healthy.
It is very easy to look back in retrospect and say that this is eerily true, but it could just as well be a coincidence. Yes, Michael died, but that does not prove that he was indeed frail or unhealthy. His death could be completely unrelated to anything that was stated in the letter. Basically, I don't think the fact that he died somehow makes the letter more trustworthy. It is also easy to look back on the pictures, knowing what you know now, and say Michael looked unhealthy. When you're looking for reasons and trying to understand the cause of his death, of course you're going to see that. It's selective perception. In searching for an explanation, people may be taking more notice of and placing more emphasis on things that seem to relate to Michael's death when in fact those things may be very ordinary.
....Kenny Ortega was going on and on about the shows on his Twitter page. It was always : "this is my greatest project" , "my dream is coming true".....never once did he mention Michael, or anyone else. It was me, me, me...
So what the person in this email says, is true. The people involved in the project only cared about 1 thing: THEIR dream. THEIR this is it. THEIR career. Working with Michael was not great for Michael, it was great for THEM.
Do you expect them to blog, tweet, think, and live solely for Michael? You cannot expect everyone who entered Michael's life to be wholly devoted to serving Michael. Of course they are going to post from their point of view as it pertains to their lives. They couldn't devote their whole lives to him. It's not realistic. It does not mean they are bad people or they didn't care about Michael. That's just human nature.
