Lets just hope that when Timberland is done with the songs that they still sound like Michael Jackson songs and not Timberland songs with Michael Jackson vocals on them.

As long as we get the CD2 with original demos, I don't understand why people are still bragging about what producers will do to Michael's songs. We get what we want. Michael's legacy is already safe with the releases he had during his lifetime. The releases starting from 2010 won't count too much for the general public IMO. He will always be remembered for songs like Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Will You Be There and not for singles like Hollywood Tonight or Hold My Hand.

Of course let's hope the Estate goes forward with the idea of including the original songs.

Assuming they do, this is pretty much a win-win situation. If fans hate the reproduced version of a song, they have the original to enjoy. The only thing they can do to screw this up is (a) only include five new songs or (b) include too many released/leaked numbers.

Why not, I begin to prefer titles like for example LOVE, Silent Spring, Place with no name (positive/laid back titles) instead of "kick-ass" like STTR. Too bad "ONE" is already taken.

Also L.O.V.E is associated with the Beatles since their Cirque du Soleil show and the accompanying album is called that.

With people talking about 2 disc with the demos, we have to have to understand that IF that did happen very very most likely that would be a delux edition. There is no reason why a record company would release a full disc (or more than lets say 3 demos) on a regular release without using the marketing of a 'Deluxe' edition to help UP sales.

We never were told of a disc of demos, all that was mentioned were a couple songs that were planned to have the demos on there too..

Even if it were me behind the album I would release the demos on a deluxe version, I would want to bring potential higher sales to the album that way. Plus the general public would have much less interest in a demo as us fans.. and in my opinion if the songs sound like demo's as in we can tell they are not complete songs and not that great of a sound I would not want the general public to hear it along with the finished product songs.. Reason: the ones who finished the song would get the notoriety for making a great song over Michael. Without the demo it is very most likely to hear "Michael Jackson still had it" type comments...

All in all, I hope we get the Demos, but on a deluxe edition type set up

I'm with KOPV on this one.

Assuming the Estate goes through with the 2-disc album, they surely wouldn't pull a HIStory situation where everyone was forced to buy the disc they may not have wanted. The deluxe version will be a little something for the fans to enjoy, whereas the standard version will be for the standard fans/new fans.

The only other option I can see them taking is putting the demos and remixes on the same disc, which would only limit us to about six new songs.

Considering there has not been an official announcement yet I would assume May would be probably the earliest we get something.. And if that's the case they might as well wait for June for obvious reasons.

I mean they could announce in March and release in April, to make the quick sales off a fast turn around hype, but I think something like this needs to spread a little longer, at least two months of TALK first.

Haven't been on the loop with the new album talk, just a quick question, is the new album coming out by itself only or will there be exclusive footage's or anything like that ?

Nobody knows, it's yet to be officially announced by The Estate/Sony :)

No one knows because we have no official word other than Timbaland saying he is working on new music.

Someone on facebook wroye that timbaland was gonna annonce something on his facebook and they thought it might haved to do with mj but i dont think it will

Im sorry to say i think timbaland is up himself!

Timbaland announced a studio package with his beats. He never said it was MJ...don't bash him because its not MJ. The world doesn't revolve around MJ after all.

The album also wasn't confirmed for a spring release. Damien Shields, Interviewed Dr. Freeze way back when. The Estate CAN change their minds. Dr. Freeze isn't the main producer and his songs might make the set list.

Nothing is set in stone. Don't take the spring release date to heart. Don't get mad at the estate because a rumor didn't hold its ground.

As far as I know, they are still working on the music for the album.
This will be a good album, lets not whine and moan this time around guys.
This could be MJ's last studio posthumous album for awhile, maybe 2017+.

We cant dry out the vault this early. I want my children to be excited for releases too. I expect to have them in about 10 years and I want there to be stuff then, now im just rambling. But you get the point.

Still no word yet on a new album is that right?

I am hoping too by June or July for a release maybe but like it was said no word from the Estate yet.
So we wait i hope it will be exciting.

If there was an announcement from the Estate , no one would have to ask. We would see an explosion in here :)
