I can understand it´s hard to do your own dancing and choreography to songs like Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal but there are songs we never saw Michael dance to and then we don´t expect the dancer to do exact like Michael.
Michael was inspired by other dancers but he made the dance his own.
 
This may have already been discussed, but there's too many threads in here now so I'm not sure...

A friend of mine said she's been hearing Slave to the Rhythm a lot on UK radio lately. Anyone can confirm?

I'll be honest, it looks creepy when I see people get surgery to look like Michael. I mean, I love Michael to bits but I don't know how you could be so obsessed with someone to get plastic surgery and alter your face to look like them. This doesn't just apply to Michael impersonators, I'm talking about anyone who alters their face significantly to look like someone else - like that guy who spent tens of thousands on plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber.

I've probably only seen one or two MJ impersonators in my life who look somewhat like MJ, and even then certain angles/lighting can throw that look off. It's not worth it, they just end up looking really weird.
 
Wonder when they are planning to release a new single. LNFSG is not catching on very well, it's actually dropping off fast like the album. There are 7 great song left take your pick estate they are all better than the first single.

Actually, there have been good radio increases for the song during the past week. It just might be a slow grower. Keep requesting it on radio!

The album is not dropping fast at all, it's holding up very well in most countries including US and UK.

exactly, some people expect too much sometimes.. for a posthumous release this is doing extremely well! Michael has a tight grip on the music industry, his presence is well defined.. through his flawless & timeless voice.. he will be celebrated endlessly.

MUMBAI: Music industry giant Sony Music has collaborated with musician A. R. Rahman’s K M Conservatory music school to create cover versions of two songs from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s new music from the album ‘XSCAPE’. It is for the first time in India that official versions of Michael Jackson’s songs will be released giving his music an India feel.

Two official song versions of the single Love Never Felt So Good and Slave to the Rhythm will be available for download and streaming by the third week of June. The project within a week of its release is number one on iTunes India and across all other major streaming platforms.

Commenting on the association, KM executive director Fathima Rafiq said, “It is a wonderful opportunity for KM to be creating Indian-influenced covers of these tracks from such a legendary musician. We hope to capture the spirit and essence of Michael Jackson’s music and infuse them with elements from different Indian traditions to make new musical masterpieces showing homage to his legacy.”

KM academic coordinator Adam Greig added, ‘Although KM primarily teaches western and Indian classical music, working on MJ’s music demonstrates how connected popular music is with its classical past tradition. The students are relishing the chance to prove their mastery of these skills in re-working these tracks. I find it amazing how easily and naturally the Indian elements blend into the mix.”

Loving this album. Had my car radio on full blast today while doing some errands. Passed a lady walking her dog. Even the dog turned around as if to say what is that? Xscape. TURN IT UP
 
I did my duty as a fan in my homeland. The album was here released yesterday. Today I went into the store and buy deluxe and standard editions although I already bought from amazon.de, amazon.uk and amazon.us. I'll let you know how Xscape will perform on the official charts next week. MICHAEL peaked at #2 in 2010. I don't know how will they count standard edition and duluxe edition (separate or combined because they counted Bad 25 separately and it charted really bad. Love Never Felt So Good is performing really well, I heard it numerous times, it's currently #15 on official Top 100 radio airplay chart. The Black Keys have the #1 album here and Mr. Probz - Waves is #1 single (don't know who that is).
 
Looking forward to what else the Estate has up their sleeve in promoting this album further. Still have been blasting Xscape, my summer album for sure. :)
 
Definitely a summer album...I was just in the Cayman Islands and I have a little blue tooth speaker that I used on the beach and blasted the Xscape album :D
 
British radio stations haven't played Love Never Felt So Good for days except for the chart shows. I askedd a major radio station via email, they replied saying that the song is barely requested. http://rihannadaily.com/www/request/ UK radio station requests are towards the bottom of the page. Please could you all do a few, even if you don't live here!

Not argueing but by my standards 46 for LNFSG and #22 for the album on US iTunes. That's what all call dropping. It should be doing much better considering the quality of material. It's Michael Jackson after all. I'm not in to excepting anything but the best. Release a new single.
 
The album is full of hits and Slave to the rhythm's new mix is the best of the contemporized versions for now if they replace Blue gangsta with loving you it would make it balanced .

This album for me, is perfect. Can't get enough of it. Wonder what the Estate are planning to really take this over the top.

I don't think they need to rush with a new single just yet as LNFSG is still doing well on radio. And the album is selling better physical copies than digital, as we learned the first week.

Is it not a bit weird that prince refers to his dad as Michael Jackson and not dad, or father........
 
The Estate is there to keep his legacy going and earn financial rewards for his children and future heirs, they do not equal perfection. Just as with Michael and every other artist mistakes are made but I am not about to punish Michael and therefore have people believe Michael is diminished. I will support what is done as long as it is done without malice and they haven't done anything with hurtful intention. Mistakes yes but nothing has been done to ridicule or with purpose of defaming or hurting Michael. That would be pointless because then they hurt the estate and in directly their own financial gain. I have supported all projects (haven't seen One but hopefully I will) because I support Michael and I want all the haters and those that judge to know I miss and care about him and nothing they say will take that away.
