GREAT! Michael Jackson's Xscape sold more than coldplay new album last week in Japan!

and by the way

Chris Martin (Coldplay) defends Michael Jackson against "idiot" Howard Stern (start around 3:25) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VCdnmM8fsA

At least Coldplay has dignity.

Aww thank you Chris for defending Michael. Another rocker also called Stern an idiot when he said he did not get Michael Jackson. I can't remember the person's name now. I love Bob Marley too just like Chris. It seems bands are beating Michael's Xscape rather than a solo artist.

Guys when you speculate about what the "more to come" is, keep your imagination in check so that you do not get disappointed when the estate puts out the real thing. We don't want to happen what happened with the illusion where people were thinking that it would look, smell, dance, dress exactly like the King of Pop.

China's Beijing listening party

Note: Chinese government has not approved the album to be released in China. But we did the listening party anyway.

Mkgenie thanks for the photos. When will the government give permission? Japan, China, and Honk Kong are showing the King a lot of love and support. I love their dedication.

What did Chris Martin say exactly? don't wanna hear Howard Stern's voice not for a second.

ugghhhhhh.
So backwards-thinking with the dictating what should be allowed for sale.

Luckily, there's the internet to make stuff like this possible! :)

I don't know. Sony Music China has to submit the files to government for them to examine....It will take one to two months to know the response.

yeah, that's how we did it.

we also personally imported and bought thousands of US version of XSCAPE for Chinese fans
so we also contributed to US sale, I guess

^What kind of thing is that? Why would you say something like that about the type of thinking that goes on in someone's country? Your comment reminds me of when I was in college. In the Spanish class the professor said that since the type of building we were talking about was new, there was no single word in Spanish for it. When that happens 2 words are joined together to make a word. Then, some student of another culture said, "what kind of language is that; they don't even have a word for that type of building." Then she sniggered to her friend. There were some Spanish/Latino students in the class and thank goodness they did not hear. I find these statements very distasteful in the least, and I think some of us need a course on cultural diversity.

Exotic I know how you feel about listening to him. I just clicked on the exact point in the video and stopped as soon after I got the statement. Cold play guy was talking about who influenced him and mentioned Michael Jackson. Stern was astonished and said he did not like Michael Jackson, to which the cold play guy responded that Stern was an idiot. The cold play guy said he liked the fact everywhere he goes people know about Michael or words to that effect.

You should read up on some of the stuff that goes on thanks to the Chinese government. That comment wasn't out of line at all. I speak from experience.

Jackie Jackson ?@JackieJackson5 7 h.

"Loving You" is my favorite "@VictorToivonen: @JackieJackson5 Favorite song from the Xscape album? :) pic.twitter.com/VzpVKjLXeP"

Howard Stern: "I never got Michael Jackson." Chris Martin (from Coldplay): "Well then you're just an idiot."

Uh, no. It's backwards and bizarre as hell. Dictating what music is sold in the country is the least of the problems over there, but certainly NOT out of line for pointing it out.

I wonder why Jackie seems to be the only one in the family saying good things about the album? Anyone know the reason for this? Has he been hired by the estate to help promote it? Or, is he just doing this on his own?

Jackie works with the estate and gets paid 9 thousand/month to do so. Also I read it somewhere that there is Jackie's LNFSG remix version coming out.

I find it funny that Jermaine goes on tabloid crying that he doesn't approve this or that, because family wasn't involved, but in fact Jackie is family and is involved, so he actually is crying because he is not involved and doesn't get paid 9 thousand/month.

Smell like Michael :giggle: What ever they might do, they better spray them/it with MJ's favourite perfume:D

Howard Stern: "I never got Michael Jackson." Chris Martin (from Coldplay): "Well then you're just an idiot."

Well said Chris. Chris is genuinely really nice man.
They were touring when MJ died, and they did a tribute to MJ and played his songs, same with U2

Jermaine should shut his mouth. i hope he never touches Michaels unreleased music.

the only thing this guy wants, is singing on Michaels songs.

Dear Mods, would it be possible for you to set up a poll where the MJJC could vote on which song should be the next single? Although, there is already an external poll in this section, it might be interesting to only see the opinions of the MJJC members. This is also timely as the radio airplay and momentum for Love Never Felt So Good appears to be slowing down. In the poll, you could list the 7 remaining songs which have not yet been released. In addition to voting for the next single, the members can leave a comment to explain their chose if the prefer. Would others be interested in this?

Thought I would repost this. Is anyone interested in such a poll?

Personally i think there are many possibilities for the next single release, in my opinion the best updated song is the 2014 Darkchild mix of the title track! many would disagree but, the fact he was the original producer and he did such a fantastic job.. it would just be very respecting to do it that way! as Michael always expressed his desire for this song to see the light of day someday.. i think he would love it!

I'm so pleased Jackie supports Xscape. He likes loving you! This is a comfort to me knowing Michael's eldest and in my opinion, most likeable, most supportive brother supports Xscape. Thas a;ll I need to know, personally :)
Personally I Love you lots Jackie :flowers:
