no, the best selling album came from bruno mars. and timblerlake is well known as timberfake. copying everything, with annoying performances. not that big or special. not a legend, mega star or icon.

Imagine if the special guest was Blanket who just drops the mic looks angry & confused. Does a spin and jazz hands then walks off pulling the fingers at the Estate and Sony reps.

I'm trying to find some way to watch it. I don't know if i'll be able to get a stream on my phone somehow. My laptop is broken.

My only hope is that Justin Timberlake doesn't overshadow Michael. I want the majority of the vocals to be MJ's

If you can watch YouTube videos on your phone, I'm sure people will be recording with home equipment and uploading content there :naughty: It might take a few minutes after the broadcast, but it'll be up eventually.

I think im gonna enjoy this album although it includes 3 LNFSG versions on the deluxe edition! , can we expect another new album of unreleased songs in the next few years?

Maybe in your opinion. But in reality he is definitively not "fake", his performances are great. He is not a legend or an icon yet but he is a huge star.

Oh, I apologize for having an opinion. Forgive me.

Just have to repost this little tidbit from Sasha01. Incredibly thought out.

There will always be knit-pickers that focus on negativity, no matter HOW MUCH they're really trying to make this album right to the best of their ability without Michael's touch on it... Seriously, in the end we should be thankful that they're putting this much effort in making it right, and making it a success with what they have.

Like what someone said early on back, would you rather not have them release MJ's music AT ALL then? THEN you would complain about that, how they're keeping his work from us. There will never be complete satisfaction from you guys, but content and accepting things you don't like and moving on are better. Michael needs your support, he's not here anymore to stand his own ground. All I'm saying is, his music lives forever yes, but when comes to posthumous releases there will always be compromises. Just take it or leave it. Be thankful that there's such attention and still excitement when it comes to Michael Jackson (even when he's gone) and that his posthumous releases are always looked-forward to, and now taken into care this time around. You don't see that really ANYWHERE with long-gone artists. And that's a big pointer than MJ is still and will be really big deal, and all the more reason to continue his legacy.

Well, to be fair, Hold My Hand was recorded for Akon's album, so it makes sense that Michael didn't feature as much on it as it should have. Not much he can do about that.

Thanks to the MJ Estate, Sony for this great gift of experiencing these emotions again.
You can say what you want, but even after the death of Michael, he adds beauty to our lives.

I think Timberlake version will be the single version and solo version will be album only. That makes perfect sense to me and it is the only logical explanation for chosing that song to be the 1st single.

Now the song has the potential to be top 10 hit worldwide!

I hate to admit it, but a lot of radio stations (at least around my area) are hesitant to play Michael Jackson because of his past and the controversies and such. But they HAVE to play a song done with Justin Timberlake. They just can't.

Let's hope this does well!

One side note: I don't expect the show to open with the new song.

Yeah, if tonight is about the duet, than I cannot imagine that another famous singer will perform the song. It's not really clear to me what is going on though. Do we know whether the solo version or the duet is being released as the single? And do we know which of the two will be played tonight? I thought qbee mentioned something about this earlier?

Someone brought up Navi mentioned that he was doing something for Xscape on his FB a few weeks ago, and this poster mentioned it in relation to a potential hologram being used tonight. I really don't think they'd do that though. I sure hope not.
