I won't take Richard's word as fact regarding track 17! I will wait for the day when the estate confirm the Tracklisting, I hope I will be pleasantly surprised. Belief is still there right now.

It wasn`t Richards words. He just posted what Amazon France has listed on his website.

I think we are on the same page.

there are some misunderstandings in this story :
- the use of word tease and some of the phrasing offended me. that is the way it happens sometimes on the internet and with text messages. Maybe I was in a state of mind when I took it too personnally. And you also have to admit it just takes little time to spell anyones name right. I just call it respect (for you and the other person). But again, I would like to make it clear: I am not here to tease fans in the wrong way. Not here to tease at all. All I do is push ideas to Sony and teh Estate the best I can so that we fans can get the best to hear and watch.

- regarding Chicago: the screenshots are self explanatory. and actually in my mind I understood that when fans said Chicago, they meant Chicago 1945. thing is: Chicago is not Chicago 1945. so yes Chicago is SLM (you will hear MJ sings she was loving me in the sing, which is why I definitely thought the song was SLM and not Chicago, a word MJ pronounces in the song but IMHO is not the core word of the song like BAD can be in the song BAD).

What I feel we should do is stay united and make sure this album gets its due success.

regarding Hot Fun: it was never announced officially. It just comes from a FB thread by Jesse Johnson. I think it created some expectation where there was no epectation to have.
Now, if I posted the info about the 17th track it is because I had two reliable sources that confirmed this (Sony and Amazon).

Now, remix or not, we sill have the demos we have been waiting for. 8 demos on one disc when we had 13 on the Ultimate Collection 4CD set. And we will have to brand new songs we never ehard before. so to me it's a real win-win situation.

I just hope the fans will embrace this project and give it due attention.

i saw your response yesterday & have to admit that i was a little shocked at your selection of words.

So let me respond to you now:
1. I did not want to say anything bad or even negative of you & your posts/tweets. As i seriously enjoy the updates you give. As i reread what i posted it dawned on me that you could take it in a negative way & feel personal offended. Therefore i say sorry to you, that was not my intention. Once again: I personally enjoy your updates & views on things.
2. The word "teasing": Also, i never intended it to sound bad. As i stated, i THINK that the estate are going the same route, by having us guessing, keeping the tension level up & giving us something to talk about. To me the 'teasing' was never something negative or smthg i did not like. On the contrary, i even enjoy it. I'm positive about all we know so far & positive about how it's being handled by all who contribute to the project.
3. The thing with Chicago & She was loving me. There must be some misunderstanding, or we misunderstood in the past. I asked you on twitter (and i have a screenshot) if Chicago & She was loving me are 2 different tracks. You answered: "2 different songs." Then @Onir_mj tweeted something along the lines: "We know that already. The question would be if both are on the new album?" You answered: "yes." So, to me, you either did not know that She was loving me & Chicago is one and the same. OR you tried to mislead us a little/have a little fun with us, so to speak, to keep us guessing (again i did not take it in a bad way, i just thought the plan is to have a little confusion, so the fans keep talking about the album.)
I NEVER talked about Chicago 1945 (also we THOUGHT at the time that could be the song), instead i asked: Are Chicago & She was loving me one & the same track? And as we know now for sure: Yes they are one & the same. And it is ONE song on the album. Because the other song is „LOVING YOU“ which came to the conversation just recently.
So maybe you could explain what you meant by your tweets really? I’ll post the screenshot with this response.
4. The thing with your own project. I never said you have no own project coming up. I never questioned that. I just said that one particular tweet you sent out was about the new MJ album & later you stated it would have been about your own project.
On this matter, i have no screenshot & i did not found it as i just looked for it, maybe you erased this tweet, i don’t know. But as i remember clearly, that tweet i’m talking about, did not make any sense in connection to your own project, as it was clear to me by the words you choose, it was about the forthcoming MJ album/project/whatever… So that’s also a thing you can answer, but you don’t have to, because it does not matter anymore anyway. The album is out may 13th & that’s that.
5. You choose the wording: „You can continue with your lies, while i continue with my truth.“ I never lied about anything, i simply stated my opinion. Though maybe i could have researched you better or talked to you first. But honestly i prefer to research MJ (LOL). There were simply questions on the forum about you & i explained to the best of my knowledge. I wouldn’t call that lying.
6. The wrong spelling of your name. Well to me your surname isn’t that easy to remember, it also isn’t a very common name (;-) LOL) & when i post something i don’t research any word i type, if it’s correctly spelled or not. Though i pride myself in trying to not make many mistakes when i use my english. I can’t remember all user names & certainly not how they all are spelled. I will try to not forget your surname anymore.
By the way, in your post, you spelled my username also wrong. No probs though, as i know you meant me. Just: One shouldn't throw stones if he sits in a glass house.

So Richard, i hope every things fine now. I did not want to make you angry, nor was my intention to talk bad about you behind your back.

Amazon isn't a reliable source; they've guessed many times in the past.

Let's not speculate. Let's wait until an official announcement is made.

I think the original Xcsape being over 5 minutes was way too long. I wouldn't mind at all if the new mix was 4:40 in length.

I agree with this 100%. Some guitar player posted in on his facebook page and we all took it for a fact. It's our own fault. We set our expectations about 17th track too high.

They considered that one for the main album but it didn't make the final cut (just like Joe Vogel said). And just like Stay (Tricky Stewart), Slave To The Rhythm (Tricky Stewart), Burn Tonight (Teddy Riley), All I Need (Burt Bacharach) didn't make the final tracklist on MICHAEL. They are saving Hot Fun for the next project or that planned Duet album. Good idea in my opinion. Why waste it on Deluxe edition when it has an all-star guests and musicians.

But including a remix on the main CD is bad idea in my opinion (This Is It, Bad 25). They could have make some kind of exclusive itunes bonus track or something. And it is the first single so it will probably be released with the single. So it's pointless in my opinion. 16 tracks would be better in my opinion. Same length as they planned or longer.

Well, they cut out the section with the girl talking.
And also, i think current songs don't have such an long intro.

Indeed!

Question please: is it possible the bonus track would differ depending on region or LNFSG will have four versions (including the video if that is correct) no matter the region?

The regional difference was simply my thought and maybe hope however, it would increase sales as fans would seek out the various regional versions.

That's all fine and dandy, but it's not even the 'remix' part I'm mad about, it's the fact that it is, yet again, LNFSG. Put Xscape featuring 2Pac on it as remix. That's a song some people actually want instead of that half decent demo named LNFSG. I'm really shocked how they screwed up with this one.

So 3 versions of LNFSG. No song can be so good it deserves to be on an album 3 times over, I'm honestly thinking this is a very stupid move but it doesn't detract my excitement for the songs and the new music. May 12th here we come!!

I would rather 16 tracks without the remix. But if it has to be a remix (don't know why, apparently they love remixes) then I would prefer Xscape with Pac too.

Also they will release it as the 1st single and the single will probably have that remix on it so I don't see the point of releasing it on the album too. On This Is It there was no single release so I can understand it, but this..

Is it sure thing that there is going to be 3 versions of LNFSG or it info fan fiction?
Wasn't there 3 version on "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" on Bad 25 and that didn't bother us/me.
There is going to be 13 other songs to listen if we get fed up listening LNFSG:clapping:

Well, didn't the HIStory and BOTDF albums have remixes ? Who wanted those to be on the album then ? Had to be MJ right. So I assume they think its the traditional thing to do or something extra the fans enjoy having.

Epic Records, who teamed up with the late singer’s estate for the release, announced XSCAPE back in March.

The tracklisting for XSCAPE, the second posthumous release from the late King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, has been released.
XSCAPE, which is set for global release on May 12, is comprised of eight previously unheard tracks. The album, which features ‘contemporised’ versions of Michael’s original recordings, includes the work of producers such asTimbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jroc and John McClain.
“We are extremely proud and honoured to present this music to the world”, commented Executive Producer L.A. Reid(Founder of LaFace Records and current Chairman of Epic Records).

HIStory didn't have any remixes. BOTDF was marketed as the remix album so it had to have remixes. And all songs were once on that album. There were 5 new songs and 8 remixes from the previous record.

Isn't that a remix of the demo? Or just a mix? was any "Re" done to the "Mix" of the demo? Wonder exactly what they had from LNFSG to play with? Hopefully more than the demo we got.

I consider it the album version or new version because it is an unreleased track. But obviously they added new instrumentation.
