@IvoDT man this is album contains 8 songs you never heard and 8 demos saying it has 3 new songs is nonsense for 2 reasons :
1 - you were never meant to hear what you heard and how you heard those songs is questionable on many levels (i downloaded them and heard them too)
2 - if the 17th track is a remix of LNFSG (a song i don't like but that's again my own problem) you still have 16 songs and 2 videos and god knows what's comin' since they keep talking about surprises everywhere

i don't think you're acting like a spoiled brat and your opinion should be accepted but wake up just a little bit lol and take responsability for what you did ----> you spoiled the fun for youself by listening to the stolen demos (like i did too)

Despite Amazon.fr is usually reliable, it may be wrong, and actulally, during the "Michael" ear, Amazon.de released a fake track list.

And even for the official MJ website, wrong info accured while Hollywood Tonight & Behind the Mask single release. They said BTM released in US, but actually HT.

Take it easy. Don't worry. Just be patient for the official release.

Been lurking/following this thread for weeks, so I thought I'd share this. If this is the wrong place to post, I do apologize in advance.

Anyways, with the recent t-shirt bundles that popped up on the official Michael Jackson website & a possible poster (read that a few pages back)...I looked into Amazon.com possibly offering something like that. Didn't come up with much, as the "XSCAPE (Deluxe Edition CD\DVD)" doesn't list any extras. This prompted me to contact Amazon support, and see if they knew anything in regards to that. According to the person I talked to, the deluxe edition is bundled with a poster.

This is my favourite tribute to Michael after his death. Digitally removing Janet from the short film and positioning her and the camera so she and Michael appear 'together' was PURE GENIUS!

I would say Coldplay is definitely the biggest threat to this album, but hopefully Xscape will at least hold #1 for the first week :) In all honesty, as long as the album is amazing, I'm happy. It charting well is just the sweet, sweet icing on the cake :D

Yes, there are 4 different versions of the album:

1. Standard Edition which has only 8 songs
2. Deluxe Edition Jewel case/Hard case (CD w/ comtemporized & demo tracks+DVD)
3. Deluxe Edition Soft case (CD w/ comtemporized & demo tracks+DVD+Poster)
4. Vinyl LP

It's absolutely hysterical that people are actually getting mad over something that isn't going to happen. I know the estate isn't comprised of geniuses, but Love Never Felt So Good isn't going to be the bonus track. I can promise that much.

Also, some of you yelled at me when I ranted about the album having six leaked songs, yet you're all infuriated because the bonus track isn't a new song. Hypocritical? I think yes.

I'd be nice if Xscape is no.1 but Michael can't compete with current alive acts the same way. As long as it does great, that's the important thing.

You guys downloaded and listened to the leaks. We begged for those songs to be released for years. We are getting the demos too, some of which are unheard. Sit down, Shut up, and Suck it up. We are getting what we have asked for.

Im being harsh because im tired of the whining and complaining about stuff that may or may not happen.

I don't believe Love Never Felt So Good is the bonus track. If the demo contains the piano layer and finger snaps what more can they do with it??

I think the bonus track is one called "Hot Fun In The Summertime"
I'm so looking forward to all of these songs, I've never heard hardly any of them, except DYKWYCA but I heard that one about a month ago. The rest i haven't heard! I'm so thankful the Estate is releasing these songs, especially Blue Gangsta!

I can't wait until this album is released. I've already pre-ordered the deluxe edition and won't be canceling because of some extra track might be a remix of the supposed first single (omg!)...

The fact that someone on here said they are canceling their pre-order is soooooo insanely ridiculous in my opinion.. Just like so many others have already pointed out on here before me, the bonus track was something that was never promised to you or officially announced in any way, shape, or form.

I think this project seems like it could really be something bigger than some people here realize. I mean this thing already is 101 times better than "Michael" and (in my opinion) seems to be the first true musical posthumous release we've had so far.

The 17th track could be some random guy farting for a minute and a half and I'd still be happy be happy with the first 16 tracks and 2 bonus videos.

(I only say that because I know it won't be some random guy farting, because if it really was I'd be pretty pissed.. But I think everyone understands what I mean)

It's almost comical seeing some fans work themselves up over nothing.. I read someone mention something like "this is a nightmare" about lnfsg being a bonus track.. We'll I guess he/she at least knows they are dreaming and acting cray over nothing based in reality..

guys stop buggin, this is an exciting release! Don't rob urself of enjoying it...

Your post made me laugh. I did not pre-order however, if track 17 was LNFSG and featured Anka vocals, I would most definitely cancel my pre-order.

Indeed. I personally was looking forward to the Victory Tour getting the treatment it deserves. (Blu-Ray dvd with double live cds, informational booklet with glossy color photos, and a documentary about the highest grossing tour of that time.)

Many in this thread said there were no concessions to Anka after TII. If LNFSG is a concession to Anka, I would like to know why the Estate/Sony does not grant concessions to whoever they need to so the Victory Tour can be released. For me, two hours of the Jacksons performing the top grossing concert of that time is much more valuable than two songs Michael penned with Anka that even Michael never revisited.

Agreed. I believe the majority posting in this thread are adults. In the adult world, there are those who agree with our views and those that do not. Those who do not agree with our views are not automatically characterized as being negative. Unfortunately, opposing views are automatically characterized as negative in this particular thread which prevents discussion.

If the cd has three versions of the same song, and that is not acceptable to you, you should not purchase it. Nothing is wrong with that and I do not see that as negative. The purchase of the cd is just that: a purchase of a cd. It does not validate or invalidate fandom.

Maybe we will be lucky and the bonus track will differ based on region. Maybe Amazon France will have LNFSG as the bonus and Amazon U.S. will have Xscape featuring Tupac.

"Sony is currently sponsoring up to 10 HRA consumer listening and education events per month in retail outlets. Given recent cuts to its workforce, the company is struggling to keep up with demand. It recently made a major HRA push at SXSW, and plans to offer a free hi-res download version of Michael Jackson's "new" album, XSCAPE, with the purchase of each new HRA-equipped Sony product."

Michael Jackson fans are so ungrateful. Whenever they get something, they immediately want more. A Place With No Name leaks after four and a half years? We want Can't Get Your Weight Off of Me! We get original versions of Michael's songs on Xscape, as we demanded for months on end? We want more than eight songs on the album! We get proper promotion for a project for the first time since Michael's death? The estate isn't announcing the first single in time, so this album is going to bomb!

So many of you are just being selfish. I understand that you all expect the best, and I understand that you won't be in love with every single aspect of a project. But when there is something about a project that you do love, spend a little while appreciating it rather than wanting more. A good percentage of you honestly don't deserve to hear anything off of Xscape simply because I know that the day it is released, you're all going to be demanding Dangerous 25 and starting petitions about what you want released. And it's absolutely ridiculous.

By the way, Love Never Felt So Good will not be the bonus track. It makes me laugh that so many people immediately bought into that without questioning a single thing.

You're going to cancel your pre-order for an album, which features sixteen songs (eight of which are original demo recordings that Michael left behind in an completely untouched state), simply because the bonus track is rumored to be a third version of Love Never Felt So Good? Are you serious with that? I'm sorry, but that's just overreacting. God knows I don't want the bonus track to be that (or any other leaked song, for that matter), but refusing to buy the product is just ridiculous to be quite honest. But then again, that's just me.

IvoDT stated he/she would cancel their pre-order. If IvoDT did indeed cancel their pre-order or just stated it out of frustration and never cancelled, I do not know. No one asked IvoDT that.

I think the extreme reactions from some people here are a byproduct of MJJC being one of the largest (if not the largest) MJ communities on the internet. We get all kinds of people here -- all ages and nationalities and people from many different walks of life -- and even if we ignore the language factor (which we shouldn't, really, because it has a massive impact on how people come across, especially when English isn't their first language), people just function differently. No one thinks exactly the same way and no one reacts exactly the same way. Which results in topics like this getting flooded with all kinds of emotions, which can sometimes make it very difficult to find the forest through the trees, so to speak.

And it's that kind of "noise" (because, quite frankly, that's what it tends to feel like) that leaves some (many?) of us longing for a more grounded discussion that steers clear of the extremities -- both completely unwarranted and unreasonable negativity and over-the-top-bordering-on-creepy-delusional adulation -- often found here. But what are you gonna do? At the end of the day, it's the internet and being given anonymity and a soapbox does strange things to some people... Best just to ignore / filter out the extremities and try to focus on those few that provide interesting and intelligent conversation.

Im whizzle can you do me a favour and tell me difference in Hd audio? either in Pm or as part of this thread as its still about xscape! I hope that it really is coming out in HD audio as at the moment i have Hd audio on my musicunlimited sub and its truely awesome!
On Michaels channel it shows the picture of xscape but when clicked just goes to all his last albums.

Is it lossloss sound as in Bluray?

I love the fact they have included a poster on the Deluxe Edition soft case ^^ As for Love ever Felt So Good which maybe included 3 times .What if they want to expand on that song? :thinking: What if it was a bonus interactive music video? In any case , Would a clickable clip concept within this album please some of us?
