Xscape chart positions. (incl. singles)

Thanks. The numbers are according to the prediction, very good. It got pushed down due to all the new releases this week. My guess is these Led Zeppelin albums will be out of the way next week.

Hits Daily Double now final. Xscape is 12th with 25K units sold. Hopefully, it will move up a notch or two when Billboard publishes the final results tomorrow

I wonder how reliable that page's numbers are. We will have to wait until Friday to see the media traffic list. The good thing I see is that Shit Keys are even lower than Michael, muahahaha! :cheeky:

For those of you, who are talked about second week decrease...just look at Mariah

http://www.noise11.com/news/led-zeppelin-to-debut-high-in-us-mariah-plummets-20140611

...Those positions seem fairly safe as the album at 12, Michael Jackson’s Xscape, is only projected at 25,300.

Mariah Carey’s new album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse takes a major fall from 3 to the high 20′s with projected sales down a whopping 75%. Normal second week sales see decreases of 50% to 55%. The sales support our contention that Carey’s latest will almost certainly not even reach gold status (500,000 sales) as it will struggle to hit 100,000 by week three....

By the way RF is really getting on my nerves... he wrote that Xscape is on 25 at the charts and it will not go up again...that must be true, cause RF knows everything...and who is to blame: the fans of course...everybody is writing to him that we love MJ...still not buying the album :banghead

Nevertheless I would be really happy if we get some new promotion...

Michael Jackson Brand Damaged by Poor Sales of New CD and Books

Considering all the people who write to me screaming about how they love Michael Jackson, etcetera, etcetera, here’s a question: where are you?

Jackson’s much touted CD of new, unreleased, and reconfigured material has been a bust. Forget proclamations that it’s “number 1 in 50 countries” or other such nonsense. In the United States, after four weeks of sales, “XScape” has sold just 286,000 copies.

That’s it, and it’s around number 25 on the album charts. It’s not coming back, either. “Xscape” had one
marketing
ploy and it’s over. That was the dancing “hologram” on the Billboard Music Awards.

Meantime, two new books about Jackson, pegged to the fifth anniversary of his death on June 25th, are also flops. “Michael Jackson Inc” by Zach O’Malley Greenburg, has done the worst. It’s ranked around number 16,000– sixteen thousand– on amazon.com. That’s pretty much no sales.

“Remember the Time,” an interesting memoir by two former Jackson bodyguards, has done a little better. Deservedly so. That book is up around number 1,320, which means it’s had some sales, good worth of mouth and online reviews. But it’s no best seller.

Maybe the authors of the books are waiting for the death anniversary to do some publicity. I think they should get going now. Those books are not going to revive themselves. Like the CD, they simply haven’t caught on.

The CD, of course, was a bad idea. Remixing and fiddling with Jackson’s unreleased music was a kind of heresy. It served no purpose. Just releasing the demos as they were would have been plenty.

As it is, many good unreleased songs were thrown out because they’d already been included in the “Bad” 25th anniversary album. There isn’t that much left now in the vaults. Sony would be wise to issue a series of live CDs from concerts.

What do people want of Michael Jackson? The hits, the ones they love, and have ties to. “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” already outlasting the “new” stuff.

Meantime, TMZ has a LOL story about Jackson’s ex-wife and her purported engagement to gay pornographer Marc Schaffel. Apparently, he has a wife. Only on TMZ, my friends, only on TMZ.

Nevertheless RF really getting on my nerves... he wrote that Xscape is on 25 at the charts and it will not go up again...that must be true, cause RF knows everything...and who is to blame: the fans of course...everybody is writing to him that we love MJ...still not buying the album :banghead

He hates Michael Jackson. He supported MICHAEL album just because he was paid by his friends Frank & Eddie Cascio to do so.

Roger is so pathetic

That’s it, and it’s around number 25 on the album charts. It’s not coming back, either. “Xscape” had one
marketing
ploy and it’s over. That was the dancing “hologram” on the Billboard Music Awards.

Last time I checked Xscape was #12 on Billboard and it's pretty good for a posthumus album after four weeks on the charts. Compare it to Mariah Carey's album that Roger so hyped in advance. Where did it peak and where is it now in only its second week on the charts? And Mariah is here to promote...

The sales are not great for almost anyone these days. It's not just MJ. The record industry is at an all time low generally. But of course Roger failed to mention that.

Roger Friedbrain is like a scorned lover. He is totally obsessed with Michael. He always has been and always will be. Friedbrain can't get over the fact that Michael never acknowledged him at all and he can never forgive Michael for that. On Friedbrain's dying bed, he will be saying Michael's name with his last breath. RF is emabarrassingly desperate.
