Xscape chart positions. (incl. singles)

Oh my gosh!!! It those numbers are real, then it was very close.

I've bought copies for my siblings first, since we all grew up with the Jackson 5 (nostalgia RULES, lol!) I'll get copies for my nieces and nephews next, then a coworker or two (the ones I like).

It's almost 3am Wednesday Atlanta time right now (Eastern time US). Would it be presumptuous to say the 10am reveal time will be my time zone?

Yes Sheila, the announcement is 10am Eastern :)

Week Ending 18th May 2014 / Albums Chart

Xscape gives Michael Jackson his eighth Number One album in France, as it debuts at the top with 34,214 copies sold (29,128 physical + 5,086 downloads). Michael Jackson‘s other chart-toppers are Bad (for six weeks in September and October 1987), Dangerous (for seven weeks from January to October 1992), HIStory : Past, Present and Future – Book I (for two weeks in June 1995), Blood On The Dancefloor – History In The Mix (for one week in May 1997), Invincible (for three weeks in November 2001), Thriller 25 (for three weeks in February and March 2008), and the This Is It soundtrack (for three weeks in November 2009). What about Thriller, you would ask ? The first French albums chart was published in January 1985

Patrick Fiori gets his highest-charting LP with Choisir which enters at number two with 16,020 sales. The new album is his third top five, Si On Chantait Plus Fort… peaked at four in October 2005, and his last offering L’Instinct Masculin reached number three in October 2010. After three non-consecutive weeks at Number One, Indila‘s Mini World is down to three in its 12th week inside the top 10 (8,911 sales / -20%).

The Black Keys are new at number four with Turn Blue (8,830 sales), it’s their first top 10 album in France. El Camino was number 21 in February 2012. Sadnecessary is a new entry at five for Milky Chance with 7,892 copies sold.

I will update my article as soon as I get more information

The bickering and arguing over how much was paid for a CD needs to end. If you want to continue to discuss it, take the conversation somewhere else like General Discussion or PM. It does not belong here in the Chart Positions, de-railing the thread.

Thank you.

Just a few word. Billboard usually post the top ten of Billboard 200 and Digital Songs at 11am EDT, Wednesday. (1.5 hours later)

Can you guys stop with this nonesense! It's ruining this thread! It's about the chart stats, not you!

to the topic. normally the hitsdailydouble are correct.so if its really this 500 copies, then its maybe one of the closest race ever.

I heard Walmart has run out all over because the didn't want to get caught like they did with the Michael album but refills are coming on Tuesday

Any news yet????????????

Waiting for the results

Right? I have things to do today and I can't do them until BB gets off their butts, lol. I think we all know the answer but something official would be nice. And soon!

Well BB? WAKE UP

They are up, I checked their twitter and they only tweet nonsense:timer:

Me too :bored2: Yet here I am waiting BB to tell me that MJ got his no 1.

Maybe the results are in but Shit keys demanded recount because they weren't happy with it:cheeky:

Recount or not, it won't matter. Michael is tops, that's all there is to it. We all want to see him #1, but even if by some far-off chance he isn't, the Keys being #1 on a chart for one week does not make them better.

Well, I am hoping he get the top spot however he's number 1 everywhere in the the world, The Black Keys would NEVER accomplish that.

Michael will always be Number 1 and no Chart or no other musical act will ever take that away from him!

They did post something about Mike though... Quincy about the Xscape album in his own words "It's About Money"

He's just coming off butthurt and jealous because this #1 selling album didn't involve him in anyway. Like Michael needed him to be #1.
