Xscape chart positions. (incl. singles)

I have kept my own Xscape campaign on Facebook - think some of my friends thinks it's too much really. :lol:

But I post all positive reviews and positive articles about the album.

Hope it will make just some buy the album.

I was more aggressive. I told them to get it and I would check up to make sure. They know me so no one was offended. Before it came out I made people know they had to buy a copy. I reminded them that the cost was less than the cost of doing their nails, dinner, video game--you know things like that depending on who the person was. However, US need to wake up, because we need more sales.
 
Tommorrow before and during the BBA show we should all try to trend #MJXSCAPE with US itunes link.
 
Guys someone said in the other thread that you can gift a song in itunes. When you do this do you have to specify where or who the song goes to? Anyone knows? Because if you don't I could gift about 100.

You have to specify the e-mails. ;)

You can gift songs and albums! That would help XSCAPE to debut at #1 on Billboard!

Oh rats!! Now I have to get e-mail accounts. I have hundred of blocked emails in my blocked e-mail box, do you think I can send the songs to them?

Anyone has a list of e-mails addresses I need 100
 
[h=3]How to Give an Album[/h] Gifting an album is very similar to giving songs. The only real difference is that instead of gifting each song that makes up an album, all you need to do is to:
  1. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Buy button (underneath the album artwork).
  2. Select the Gift This Album option.
  3. If you aren't already signed into your Apple account, a dialog box will be displayed asking for your security credentials. Type in your Apple ID and Password before clicking the Sign In button.
  4. You should now see the 'Send an iTunes Gift' screen. Type in the email address of the person you want to send the gift to.
  5. If you want to include a message, then you can enter this in the Message (Optional) text box.
  6. Choose when you want to send the gift. Your options are either Now or Other Date. If sending your gift on a future date, then you'll need to specify when to send it using the calendar options. Click the Next button when done.
  7. Choose a theme for your gift and click Next.
  8. On the confirmation screen, check that all the details are correct and then click the Buy Gift button to commit to your purchase.

Just open a topic here and let people post their e-mails! We need it ASAP, since the deadline is tomorrow night. :D
 
Petrarose, don't you think it's better to send a few albums than a hundred of random tracks?

I don't have iTunes/electronic money just physical to buy the album. Do the email addresses have be of people from USA? I could give mine, if it works.

No one has to gift me the album if you don't want to, I'll buy my physical copy as soon as I can go to the store. I didn't mean to sound that way. :blush:

I will take any e-mail I get and I don't think it has to be the US.

Horak the thing is gifting an album is more expensive. I can gift more songs like the first single. Maybe if people listen they will buy the album? I can gift 100 which will make at least the single be high on the list. If I don't get many e-mails, I will just use the addresses in my blocked senders list, even though I dislike those people, but at least the songs will be bought 100 times.

I understand... but we only have 1 day and a half to make XSCAPE number 1! Even if people like LNFSG and decide to buy the entire album, that doesn't mean they will do it before the deadline.

Plus, sending e-mail dresses away doesn't work. It needs to be some e-mail registered on Apple Store - and from the USA (since you're sending the gifts from there).
 
This seems more trouble than I thought.

Horak but don't we need thousands of album sales to make Xscape album #1?

OK I just bought the first copy of the deluxe but it won't let me buy more. It keep showing purchased where the buy prompt should be. What do I do????????? Now you want me to switch to standard i see.

Definitely 22 Deluxe or even more Standard editions. Sale is sale, no matter what version, they both count together but Standard is cheaper.

The goal is to have #1 album, single is not that important. Buy standard edition albums!
 
Ah everytime you try to do something good there is a problem. I tried to buy 22 albums but itunes won't allow it. I spoke to a representative and was told the system won't allow me to do it. He said he things there will be only one download anyway, so maybe that is why the word purchased remains on the button rather than Buy. Next, I can't gift unless the person has an itunes account and he says he thinks you can only gift one album to an e-mail account. A pity I did not just buy all this on Amazon, but I did not think about this days ago.

Wait, we'll find US fans who have iTunes accounts. Come on, US fans!! Just post your emails here or PM to Petrarose.
 
Maybe you can download albums on Amzon and some other marekts in the USA.
 
PETRA, did you manage to collect he emails? We could ask on twitter. We had a campaign earlier this week for people who couldn't afford to buy the CD and had a nice respond. We could do the same now

i have 3 CDs on Amazon.com waiting to be shipped out since least Tuesday. I am worried they won;t be counted this week if they don't get shipped before end of day tomorrow.

ETA: Black Keys are leading both on iTunes and Amazon.
