They won vs. Ghana. If you didn't watch it, you missed quite a game ;) It had everything: excitement, drama, goals, cheating, red card, penalties, emotions etc. Too bad Ghana is out though :( Now we'll have to face Uruguay next, should be doable for us. Who knows, maybe there will be a classic Netherlands - Germany final??? :wild:

Thanks but what I meant is who won Spain or Uruguay? Didn't they play against Uruguay? Or was it Paraguay? Did spain win or loose?

^^ I watched it and i thought it was a pretty good game. I want Germany to win the cup so it was good seeing them win. Made staying up til 4 in the morn watching it worth it lol

My family is from Spain, so I should support them...
...but my loyalties are elsewhere!!! :3

Originally, I was supporting Great Britain, but now that they are out of the race, my support goes to Deutschland (Germany)! :)

I also wanted Argentina to win. :( I saw the interview collective of Maradona after the game and he was sooooooooooo sad, desolate, and he said indirectly that is no longer the coach of Argentina. I was very sad for him. And in my opinion, Argentina played well and Maradona did a fine job. :clapping: Now only in 2014..... :timer:

Where is Roberto Carlos?

Where is Neymar? - amazing player from "Santos FC".

Where is Ganço (Goose)? - amazing player from "Santos FC".

Where is Adriano?

The worst part: Kaka is injured. He played with pain.

Every Brazilian knew that Brazil would not win.

I didnt see the interview and stuff...
I was at work so I couldnt even see the game.. :(
Just every now and then I could run to the tv to see something..
But after Brazil I totally wanted Ghana or Argentina to win!
smh.. I don't even care who wins anymore!
And I agree.. I thikn Maradona did a great job!
But in 2014 Brazil will take the cup.. :coffee: :lol:

Me and my dad were like; I cant believe he didnt take Ronaldinho and Adrian etc.
The choosen players are great too.. but I still missed these players!

But Uruguay doesnt have Suarez, so Holland is lucky!
If they win they have to play against Spain or Germany. Gahh I hope it'll be Germany! Ghehehe!

Why is it bullshit? Brazil was one of the best teams in 90s and early 00s, but in last years they never qualifed to half final. There are many teams way better than Brazil and yet half of the world still consider Brazil as number 1.
Ronaldinho might be one of the best players, but he is very egoistic and I'm not surprised he wasn't choosed.
I don't beleive Brazil would play much better with other players, this is not the only important thing... Look at the Real Madrid and you'll see what i'm talking about.

Ps: Paraguay played with 6 non standard players against Spain and they played just as well as Spain. Does Paraguay have more good players than Brazil?
In either way, it is nice to see teams like Brazil and Argentina going home. I dislike it when big teams win, and Brazil won final many times, more than enough. :) The best final would be Uruguay - Germany.

The worst final would be Netherland - Spain - it would not be a football, it would be a chess. :)

Though it doesn't matter how you will play the game, in the end only the results will count.
I think the first few games by The Netherlands were quite worse, alot of Dutchies said the same, I quote one 'Our team was worse, but hey it doesn't matter, because we won'

So maybe for alot of people it would be a worse Final, I don't care, it would be nice to see a small country in the final. Especially us, because we haven't archieved alot.

It does mather how you will play the game. All those football fans around the globe care about it.

I totally disagree that Netherland has not achieved much. They were in final of the world cup before. Twice, to be precise... 2nd place on the world cup is a great achievment. Not to mention that Netherlands was quite good on some of the previous Euro cups too.
