Ghana were not really losers. It took a blatant bit of cheating by the opposing team to change the result. In my mind it was 2-1 to Ghana in the final minute of extra time. :D

Uruguay almost didn't qualify to the world cup, and now look where they are :bugedeyes That's why I love this sport.
They didn't had to face tough rivals, but they still are in the best 4 of the world

I don't think Netherland is underrated. Majority of people in my country beleives that they are pretty quality team. But Brazil is overrated, they are even ranked in top 3 team on FIFA chart. They aren't that good anymore, everything changed after World Cup 2002. They ARE good, bet they aren't the best.
The only problem with Netherlands is that they play the most boring tactical football on the whole World Cup. I almost fell asleep during their match with Brazil and the same could be said for the match with Slovakia (but i have to admit i don't sleep well lately).

I really hope they won't go to final, Uruguay play much more interesting football.

Ps: I don't think that Netherlands won today because of luck. Let's be honest. They play the most boring football, but they are tactically extremly good.

Ps2: Please don't take offense. :) I just hope that final will be very nice match to watch with many goals and not chess.
Ps: I used to love Netherlands a few years ago, they played much better back then.

I'm not sure if it would even be a goal... Because Melo distracted the goalkeeper. But if it would be goal, then yes, it would be an amazing one. :)

I was also wanting Gana to go to half final. In my opinion, they played much better than Uruguay and if they would only had more luck and psychological strenght in the last minute... Damn, i was 99% sure they will go to half final... They fought like lions and i'm sure they made the whole Africa proud!

To be honest, racism is pretty simple to understand. Racism is a simplified view of the world for stupid people. If someone who has different skin color stole their car, they will hate all people of that color - they are not capable of understanding that this thief has nothing to do with others.
It is scientifically proven, that racist have lower IQ than non racist. Just google it. But i agree. It's a shame there is still so many racist people. It just makes me sad. :(

Ps: Of course there are many many more reasons why people are racist. I only named one which is very common.

I said Holland was lucky because, let's be honest, the first goal wasn't merit of Holland, was pure luck, and it came in Holland's worst moment and Brazil was playing better by far. It was just a lost ball that magically hit the net. After that yes, Holland played better than Brazil, adding that they had one extra player later and they could score another goal without sweat too much. Almost at the end they had a chance they were 3 against Julio Cesar and I think Robben took 10 years to make the pass. Holland should have taken advantage of the extra player.
Just that, I didn't said ''Holland team can't play footbal'' :D
Oh, and about racism on football, I think it should be like music and serve as an union, no matter race or anything, we are all the same and football players should make the example

I have to agree Holland plays in a boring way...

In the past they didnt play boring at all but that beautiful way of playing never resulted in winning a worldcup.

If it takes a boring way of playing to get that cup i say go for it LOL.

For tomorrows game i hope Germany and Spain will win.
I am probably the only dutch person rooting for germany LMAO.

I know what you're saying. But i don't think that Holland had more luck today than any other team on this world cup... It's not like Brazil would be attacking all the time but not scoring or something...
Anyway, it was obvious that they wanted the match to finish as soon as possible near the end, that's why they didn't want to attack... It was too riskful.
But I agree about that 3rd goal... I could not beleive it. :)
Anyway, i'm really interesting how far they will come... To be honest, they have luck with oponents in second part of competition (except Brazil, but Slovakia is the weakest team in second part and Uruguay is the easiest oponent in half final... But, let's not forget it - they beat Brazil, which is a huge achievment! :)

As someone who doesnt care much about who wins World cup, all i can say is that i want a final which will make me feel like watching Hitchcook. :)

Go Uruguay. I hope they can resurrect the glorious past. Yes Suarez stopped the ball with his hand, but he got punished for it and Gyan wasted the penalty. Plus, Uruguay played good as well and dominated most of the match. I also like Ghana as well and wished they'd both advance. But, viva Uruguay. I doubt they can win the cup, though. Their team seems to lack the skill required as a group. Without Suarez, Forlan will have to do all the creative work, but all is possible.

I also wish Germany and Spain wins their games and then Germany goes on to the final against Holland.

Our team did a great job. I'm sooo proud of them. We against the Netherlands would be my dream final. :D
