The 30-minute special will take viewers behind the scenes of the making of "Michael Jackson's This Is It" tour prior to his untimely passing. The special, taken from footage from the critically acclaimed film "Michael Jackson's This Is It," will also include additional new content not previously seen in the blockbuster film. The special and music video premieres mark the first time that significant footage from the film will be broadcast on television. Both premieres will be simulcast on VH1, VH1 Classic, and Palladia.

So I wonder if what they plan on showing will be some of the extras on the DVD? Promotion for it? Or is it something exclusive...:timer: I will be impatient for this.

vh1 is not available in canada MuchMore (formerly known as MuchMoreMusic) shows some vh1 shows though ...

Just watched it, nice. Always liked the HIStory breakdown.

BTW....Entertainment Tonight will have behind the scenes footage of the THIS IS IT rehearsals on Wednesdays show. I saw a bit of the footage with MJ eating and laughing (looks like some of the recently released footage by SONY)

Just watched the video on VH1....beautiful...Michael smiled a whole lot....I noticed that ...he was on fire.....I believe it is the same as what we saw in the Movie..they only added the intro.....but...yeah Michael was beautiful as always.....I miss him so much.....I saw him smile and it made me smile and say ,,,Oh Michael...:cry:

Just saw it on VH1 and recorded on VH1 Classic. While watching on VH1, it appears to be a small screen, but then watched again from VH1 classic and it was full screen. It was amazing watching Michael again. We watched over and over. I had the same reaction as xthunderx2. I was like "Oh Michael!". I loved seeing him smile. He really sounded so good. I do feel that when I get the DVD, it will be very hard to watch knowning that it was his last time on stage and right before he passed...(sigh).

Also, ExoticPrincess mentioned that ET will be showing behind the scene footage on Wednesday. It was also announced that the behind the scenes of the making of TII will also be shown on VH1, VH1 Classic and some other channel at 10:00 PM EST/9:00 PM CST on Saturday, 1/23/10. My DVR is set to record.

I really miss Michael. :angel: Watching that has made me very sad.:no:

I feel the same way. I was watching it on vh1.com for an hour over and over again... My emotions went from "aouw :D" to "ah ;( Michael smiles a lot there, just doing 'his thing' i he's just pure Michael Jackson

There were a couple of little differences than what the movie showed, but videowise and regarding TII, this is the oldest video. This was the song they showed when Michael first passed. It was playing in the background as the reporters spoke.
