It just disappoints me when I see this coming from within the fanbase, because it's not exclusive to MJ's fans as they make it out to be.
i fail to see how mj fans are more 'nutty' than any other fanbase out there. Must i call out the fans of elvis who think that he hasn't become more than a mere product and still think that he's widely remembered for his music and contributions to it? The beatles fans who think that all of music wouldn't be possible had it not been for the fab four? Beyonce's fans who call her 'beysus' and swear that she's the best thing since sliced bread. Lady gaga fans who thinks that she's a genius even though she's proved nothing of the sort yet? Janet fans who fail to realize that her biggest and most significant market was in the us as as opposed to anywhere else in the world?
In reality, fans of anything and anyone are just that, especially on the internet. Most non-mj fans call mj fans insane because they think that they are supporting a guilty man and denying the outward 'truth' of nearly every media outlet out there with their 'crazy' findings. Even those who are being ,sorta, objective out there are still called ass kissers and crazy deluded fans. I know that this is a 'unpopular opinions' thread, but that's not an unpopular opinion, at all. I won't deny that mj's fanbase, or any other fanbase, has its fair share of extremely dedicated people. It just disappoints me when i see this coming from within the fanbase, because it's not exclusive to mj's fans as they make it out to be.
Note: I am not saying that he is guilty, at all.

That's a bit much. Do you not know any MJ fans in 'real life'? Most I've encountered are 'normal' and feel comfortable discussing Michael's flaws etc (as in they don't pretend that he didn't have any). 80% of MJJC, maybe, but you can't generalise what a fanbase of millions upon millions are like based on what you see here. People will say stuff and go off on rants online 'cause it's anonymous, doesn't mean they shout everyone down about Michael offline too. Casual fans aren't likely to sign up to a message board in the first place, for one thing. They're the people who are usually easiest to talk to about MJ.

Nah, B. It's only the woman that are crazy. THEY made the crotch thread, the gold pants thread, etc.
I'm sorry if my post came across as being too harsh, but you guys have got to admit that certain fans really take it too far. This kind of behaviour mostly happens in the MJ vs Elvis/The Beatles/Madonna/Janet/Prince/ MJ's own family/Beyonce/Usher/Justin Timberlake/Chris Brown/ Lady Gaga/ Justin Bieber etc threads
i'm a heterosexual guy, and i can understand those threads in Man In The Mirror section
Hey, nothing wrong with being honest! I'm a heterosexual female and find those threads as intense psychological discussions in to the inner MJ.
^^^What does that mean?

Although I do blame trolls and troublemakers who get a kick out of creating these pissing-matches between artists and their fanbases.
That's funny! You're so wrong. Lol!
Passionate is a better word to me.
Well I don't think that's the case. Though this is the unpopular opinions thread, afterall.
Some do. I remember threads in the past comparing Mike to Jesus Christ, or saying he's the archangel Michael. I don't know if these threads are in the active forum, or in the archives, but I didn't understand what the point of these types of topics were. Some say that Mike was a pure and innocent saint that has never done anything wrong in his life.that fans consider MJ as a religion.
i do think this title of this thread is the best ever, because there is no way anyone should be offended by whatever is said in here, because it's the title that emphasises, that everybody posting is posting nothing more than an opinion...
