Ubisoft / Estate announce new Michael Jackson Video Game - see posts 88 - 111 -167

November 19th is gonna be one of the best days of my life so far! Can't wait to buy it for the Wii. The title even gives me goosebumps: "Michael Jackson - The Experience". YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!! :D

If this is anything like Just Dance, it'll be awesome, it's such a great laugh and really works you out!

I might wait and read some reviews on this first though and see if it's any good :)

Just for your info, you can allready preorder the title at your local Gamestop store!

This game might be good. Don't know yet as we have heard so little about it. If it's a dancing game it'll be just a change of dancing in front of a TV instead of just dancing without it. I'll still pre-order it though and gets a games console for it. The Wii version would be the best I am guessing? And I'm not sure what that microphone mode on the Play Station 3 and XBOX 360 is supposed to do, just amplify your voice perhaps?

This smells after moneymaking! I'll just wait and see if it's more than a SingStar clone and some average dancing game stuff.

Michael Jackson Video Game Details Revealed

Since Michael Jackson unexpected death in June of 2009, fans have only been treated to a few unreleased tracks from the late King of Pop. But soon, they'll be able to see what it was like to be in MJ's shoes. Ubisoft, which previously announced the release of a Michael Jackson video game, has unveiled some of the details about 'Michael Jackson: The Experience,' slated for release this November.

The game -- available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii and Nintendo DS -- features unique motion technology that projects an image of gamers onto the screen as they attempt to mimic Jackson's signature dance moves. 'Your goal is to dance like Michael,' says Ubisoft's Tony Key. 'Do what the guy on the screen is doing and you're there. It'll score you based on the quality of your performance.'

Players will also be able to test their mic skills on the Xbox, PS3 and Wii editions, where they can sing karaoke to some of MJ's greatest hits. The Nintendo DS and PSP versions will be akin to music video game Elite Beat Agents, where users tap out rhythms on their screens to keep the beat of the tune, and will include a series of mini-games and quizzes.

In addition to 'Michael Jackson: The Experience,' fans can also look forward to the release of two new albums of unreleased material, one featuring music from recording sessions in the '80s and another including songs created with producer Rodney Jerkins. Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am recently spoke out against the former release, stating that it's disrespectful to put out music that Jackson never intended for public consumption.

Theres an article about the game on xbox 360's kinect in todays news of the world. It basically says everything we know already but has an exclusive new picture. i can't find the picture online though. It has the stage which is in most pictures and has the iconic 'BAD' writing along the top. in the background you can see the Bad video playing on a screen. There's also an avatar on the stage doing an MJ dance move, with another picture showing the game player doing that exact motion.
