The company that oversaw the Beatles records in 2008 and 2010 certified a figure of 600 million for the Beatles, Elvis's figures according to music company Universal Music Group are 500 million. Apple Corps has now cited 800 million for the Beatles as of 2019 which would indicate a jump in 200 million record sales from 2010 to 2019 (in 9 years). In 2015 Sony Music announced worldwide sales of 1 Billion for MJ, excluding Jackson 5 numbers his solo sales would be 696,800,000 when you include sales in 2009, 2012 and 2013, with Jackson 5 it's over 819,000,000 units

Sony Music cited Thriller had reached 100 million in 2015, Bad had 45 million. Claims for History at 30 million (60 Million as a Double CD) were also made, adding those up gives you a spike in unit sales of 100 million for the albums

Basically, either way his sales have probably reached somewhere around 900 million
