We really don't clearly know how much footage they have. We only speculate. but why should they give more when this fine BAD25 documentary from Spike Lee is shunned by many fans. Plus if fans don't support this great documentary, what would entice the Estate to release another one. I think we shot ourselves in the foot. It just not worth their effort If fans don't support it. Thats why they didn't put further effort into BAD25. We all know Many fans are boycotting everything from Estate. So they are wise with marketing to the new fans, the general public and the the world who WILL appreciate. I'm sure a New album is forth coming but they have a lot they are dealing with at the moment. Plus they dont want to compete with other projects at this time.

It is not the fans' fault Bad25 did not succeed the way Sony/Estate planned. The fault lies with Sony/Estate and the product they offered. If the Spike Lee documentary is not successfully sold via the web, it is not fans' fault. The fault again lies with Sony/Estate and the product they offered. The fans did not make the choice to publish the documentary without extras and I cannot fault fans who have already seen the full two hour documentary for not rushing out to purchase the DVD.

I am completely baffled by the digital collection.

one perfect release of each Tour (Destiny - 1980, Triumph Los Angeles 1981, Victory 1984, BAD Tour 1987/1988/1989, DANGEROUS Tour 1992, HIStory Tour 1996) on Blu-Ray/DVD & in Cinemas with rehearsal footage and behind the scenes, one final new album with songs just from 2005-2009. Jackson 5 Releases, one hologram for Man In The Mirror. And a movie of studio footage and of Michael's life featuring footage from 1964-2009, and im a happy man :)

Bad 25 was aired last week here in Brazil, but it was the edited version, i.e I still didn't watch the full documentary, that's why i really wanted this dvd. I know I can download it for free on the internet, but I want to support Michael's legacy. They could at least make this available at other online stores, not just on mj.com, because I already had problems with this website and don't want to deal with it again. I'm really dissapointed... I want this dvd so bad :(

I got mine today, no shipping notice or anything, it arrived one day early than the release date

I got mine today too and just finished watching it. Loved it! Having only seen the edited version previously, I enjoyed seeing what I missed (I didn't download the full version previously).

Chris Brown was born in 1989 and he never experienced the 1980s and Justin Bieber was born in 1994 and barely remembers the 1990s let alone be in a special about an album that was released way before he was even born.

That's exactly why-- They were not around and he is showing how stars of today and all future generations will always love and respect this album. And whether you like it or not, they are both stars with large fan bases. Many people see Michael Jackson fans as a mob of crazy people. They wouldn't take what we (I am a child of Dangerous/HIStory eras, but "we" as fans) had to say seriously.

On a separate topic, when I saw it in Canada on TV during American thanksgiving (November) there was no mention of Speed Demon. But on the chapters listed here http://www.michaeljackson.com/ca/store/bad-25th-anniversary/bad-25-documentary there seems to be a chapter on Speed Demon. Was this edited out of the televised version?

I finally found out today(how stupid of me, since i didn't really bother to look in the first place & I ended up emailing MJ.com about the matter) that my order was shipped on the 27th of June, should arrive between July 1-July 11th, however with the tracking number for UPS, the supposed delivery date for me, is July 3rd, so i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed for that! :)

I think it's a great idea. One year ago, I didn't even know Wanna be Startin Somethin was his song. Seriously. I know, it's crazy. Now I'm practically a walking encyclopedia of Michael. The point is, there are new people learning about him every day, new generations who didn't grow up with him need something too. It's a great place to start if you're curious about Michael Jackson and want to learn about the music. Especially for kids who have been growing up getting music online and not in music stores.

Fans are fans. If you love Michael, you're a fan. I don't think it's right to give "status" to long time Michael fans who have been collecting for years, it's not an exclusive club. It's a club everyone can be a part of. We've all been touched by him in some way.

I got my Bluray today. Nothing on it but the full-length film. Absence of bonus material is really disappointing.

What I am very happy about though is the sound quality. The Bluray includes uncompressed PCM 5.1 and uncompressed PCM stereo. When we watched the film in the theater, the soundtrack in parts where MJ is singing was amazing, I mean BREATHTAKING, so I'm really glad they paid attention to the sound.

I had this doubt: if they were showing an edited version. :bugeyed Why when I watched I realized I was missing some things. And I thought: WTF? :blink: I do not understand why they did not exhibit the same version that was shown in other countries. :doh: Brazil always left out of everything. :cry: Sad. :(

And will we have the release of the documentary (dvd/bluray) here in Brazil? :unsure:

I'm still waiting for mine since I might get it either today or most likely tomorrow, since i found out about tracking info & from what it says is that the "Projected Delivery Date" is July 3 which is tomorrow, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed

At least the main feature wasn't sourced from a VHS copy, though. So there IS that!

And this film would look so pretty on the shelves at Target/Best Buy/Walmart...

Geez, the moment I got my DVD, I popped it right into my computer started watching it & WOW! Just blew me away, plus when I posted a pic of the DVD to my facebook in the "MJJ Collector's" page, i obviously had alot of people giving it a thumbs up plus asking me questions, etc. which i was more than happy to respond back to everyone's ?'s & I did so, even though it was going at such a fast pace :)
Anyways, I think the DVD is amazing in my opinion & I will cherish it for the rest of my life :wub:

MJ's site did pretty good on getting it on to people on release date. :)

I just ordered mine today in BLU-RAY! Never saw the full length so looking forward to finally gettin to see it soon! =) That's the only reason I ordered it too, since there won't be any extras!

Well, sadly, there's no bonus features at all, but for me, i'm ok with the way it is & I have to say, it's amazing & I got to see my fave MJ video girl Tatiana Thumbtzen & I have to admit, I thought she looked amazing in the docu, I mean she still looks great for her age :D
