You can also change to your country on top left side. let us know if that works

I also think presale isn't available to all countries yet. Maybe be in July when officially released

I also think in the UK it's only goods with a value greater than £15. Your country will probably have similar rulings. The Wembley DVD probably came in under £15.
 
I will download this.

Crazy estate. Not giving us what we want. This doc could have so much bonus footage from the BAD tour in HD.

It's frustrating being a MJ fan nowadays. Disappointment after disappointment. MJ deserves so much more quality releases.

I'm just thinking that I will most likely only need just at least $20 on the gift card that I'm going to use to purchase the DVD, since it's only $14.98 +tax I assume, that's all i really need in order to purchase it if i'm not mistaken

Are you saying you can not get on http://www.MichaelJackson.com and click their store link from USA? Maybe your pc is blocking the IP ? could be your firewall settings

VERY disappointing indeed!! - I had really hoped for a lot of extra material. Some studio footage and cool BAD related stuff like that!

I defended the Estate since day 1 but enough is enough. Michael Jackson deserves quality releases, Bad 25 could be considered one, but this is not. It's just not good enough! How much longer do we have to keep saying, "Oh maybe next time it'll be good" ??

what a stupid decision not to put this into the shops. talk about baiscally admitting the whole thing was a waste of time. still got the full length version on the sky box which i havnt watched yet anyway so it doesnt bother me in that sense. but as normal yet another release is wasted. well at least ppl cant blame mj this time

Wow all the criticism that I got for saying the extras would be an incentive to buy it, now all I'm reading in this thread is floods of people saying they won't buy it precisely because of that.

It is very rare these days to release a DVD/Blu-Ray with no extra material at all.

WHO DOES THAT?? - Of course.... SONY and MJ Estate.... - SAD SAD SAD!! It's really really sad.

I would like to know, if anyone could help me out possibly, who has already pre-ordered (specificially the DVD, NOT Blu-Ray) what is the shipping & handling cost exactly, so that i will know exactly how much I need to have on the gift card when I go to purchase it!
If anyone could help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated, because obviously the shipping and handling is of course, not listed on the official site

Estimated shipping and handling is $3.98 In USA my total was $18.96 for Michigan. It's probably the same for Maryland but you can find your total cost by clicking the purchase link and adding it to the cart. Thats what I just did to find it... I hope that helps

Regardless of the fact that the whole story around TV broadcasting didn't go too well (short US version, poor release date, etc.) and now the same is repeated with exclusive video release I'm still happy because this great documentary was made and I hope that in the near future (while witnesses are still alive) will record more movie testimonials from the people around Michael who participated or witnessed the creation of his unique works of art.
I believe that this movie is important legacy for the future generations, because on the one hand, we have loads of crap written by third class "journalists" who for decades spit, invent and write lies, and then we have something like this - TRUE historical material about one of the greatest musicians ever.

In fact, an MJ fan, who's also a blogger bought the matter up when it came to the BAD25 Docu as far as reviews go:
Here's their comment on the whole matter:


"Including Chris Brown and Justin Bieber in the documentary is like including Justin Timberlake in a Prince documentary - no. I have nothing against Chris Brown or Justin Bieber, they are both uber fans of Michael and one has an anger issue and no matter how much he tries, the other one will always look like a ten year old boy. I do not know what Mr. Lee was thinking when he decided to add their "contributions" to the documentary. Chris Brown was born in 1989 and he never experienced the 1980s and Justin Bieber was born in 1994 and barely remembers the 1990s let alone be in a special about an album that was released way before he was even born. Heck, his own mother was like 12 years old when Bad came out, Mariah Carey and Questlove are older than Justin Bieber's mother. I mean, what can these kids tell me about the Bad album or its impact during that time? This is where Mr. Lee can come in instead of putting them on there, add the fans, especially the ones who were blessed enough to attend any of the Bad tour concerts from 1987-1989. Spike Lee could have utilize his accounts on twitter and facebook, his website and literally call the fans that were witnessed to greatness in the late 1980s to participate in the documentary and talk about their experiences. That would have been way better than whatever the heck almost all of the people featured in the documentary had to state about Michael. As for Kanye West, instead of adding him on there, how about including the now Reverend Run and DMC from the iconic rap group Run DMC who worked with Michael on the song "Crack Kills" even though that song did not make it on the Bad album. The viewer would have known that before he did hip hop elements in the Dangerous album, Michael was embracing hip hop on the Bad album."

It's not like it's full of JB footage. His part is like one or half a minute in the whole documentary. So would you dump a whole documentary with great footage about MJ because of that?

And if someone doesn't like it then why do you download it? Doesn't make sense. If you don't like it then do not buy it, but if you download it it means you still want to have it. Then buy it!

Is the documentary perfect and flawless? No. I personally could not care less about JB's presence as his part was not significant at all. But I wished there was more emphasis on Michael's creative craft. The fact that he wrote most of the songs on the album etc. I felt that was not emphasized enough. But overall it's a good documentary and I'm going to support it. Finally a good one and not one trashing him! That alone is worth supporting.

You don't like the doc because Justin Bieber is in it for roughly 60 seconds?
What a strange reason to not like the (awesome) documentary.

And all of the celebs and journalists serve the purpose of talking heads. It's just to offer opinions and insight onto the subject matter, on top of the actual people involved.
