surely these big airlines can transfer the tickets to another date, they are not loosing any money if they did this, like dutchie said, surely they should have looked at the calander and sorted ou all this before they even announced the concerts, and why can,t the 02 arange all the other artists stage rehearsals abit earlier, like madonna i don,t know to much about her,but couldn,t she do her rehearsal earlier as she is already in the uk as far as i know.you will probably all disagree with me,but something could have been worked out to fit round all of this without making these drastic changes.
You should be able to look into this yourself
i know where you are coming from,we need to pull together on this one,Nothing's been going right for MJ after HIStory era!!! Add this one to it!! This is a mess!

What I am still angry about, by the way, is that Michael is letting all of this happen.
To an extend, I understand they need the O2 arena on the specific dates when Madonna and other acts are in there. I understand that Kenny Ortega can't find time in his schedule to prepare the show (actually...scratch that. I DON'T get that).
I'm looking at #1MJstan's signature where you see Michael go: "I'm tired of you messing with me!! Stop it!" ....why the hell didn't he say that now, and stick up for his fans? This is something that should not, and can not happen. If you plan a show, you look at the calendar, check everyone's schedules, check the O2 schedules, and THEN you announce whatever you are planning. THEN you start tickets sales.
Blah. I'm still angry even after sleeping on it
I don't like to shoot down brainstorming because maybe there is some solution to this somehow using volunteering. I would imagine if it is to set up or take down a stage, there would be insurance problems associated with volunteers working on it. Plus if it is putting up a set, it has to be precise and perfect and too many people not knowing what they are doing could ruin it or make it unsafe. But I do like that you are trying to come up with other solutions.i know where you are coming from,we need to pull together on this one,
bloody hell my dates have even not been altered but i would even offer to work voluntary to get this show on the road seriously.to save everyone all the heartache,
Thank you. I am between wanting to do what I can to make sure we don't miss out, and not caring anymore about it. Sure I really do want to see it, we all do... but what good will come from me spending so much on this that we are put in a dire financial spot by doing so.lol@Dutchie... If they changed my concert date, I would feel the same way.. All of you have every right to be upset, especially when money is involved. It's not like some of us have money coming out of our a$$e$ so whether we spend $1 or $10,000 on tix, hotel, and airfare, the ppl that bought tix for those dates that have been rescheduled have a right to rant and rave, cuss and fuss, bitch and moan..
Let AEG change the July 28th date, mark my words:
THERE WILL BE SOME DAMN SMOKE IN THE CITY!!!!:evil:
Yes we all know that things get rescheduled and stuff, but it seems like AEG put this out there before actually looking at the big picture.. I have seen MJ twice in concert and take my word for it, his production is nice.. Yes you get your $$ worth and I am sure none of us would want to get a half ass show, because then we would be really bitching on MJJC.. Hell we bitch about what he is wearing, why he is always wearing sunglasses, or not releasing statements about the lawsuits he seems to constantly have filed against him, so we all know damn well we would RAISE HOLY HELL if we got a show that looked like he was only given $5 to put 2gether..
Now do I agree with the ppl who bought tix for the 10th/12th to have to wait damn near a year to see him??.. HELL TO THE NAW!!! (LOL)
That is some shady shit right there, come on now AEG I am sure you can find 2 days this year that are free to have those shows take place.. That press conference was so half assed... Since you want to joke about the concert grossing the same amount as a small African country, then you need to offer a coupon or something to those ppl flying into London for those shows that either can't get their hotel/airfare $ refunded.. I say spend some money and rent out a few hotels for those ppl and offer them a room there for FREE....
@Ape, I really hope you and your kids can get things worked out, and for them to see him perform... I hope everyone affected gets to see him...
i know that was a silly idea i thought about that afterwards, another idea i thought of is setting up a thread in this forum where we can all post ideas about things for example emailing the 02 ,emailing other artists camps who are playing at the 02.emailing airlines ,emailing hotels, aeg ,everyone, what do you all think shall i make a thread?I don't like to shoot down brainstorming because maybe there is some solution to this somehow using volunteering. I would imagine if it is to set up or take down a stage, there would be insurance problems associated with volunteers working on it. Plus if it is putting up a set, it has to be precise and perfect and too many people not knowing what they are doing could ruin it or make it unsafe. I still have to go to bed but don't really feel up to it.
It does not make sense to me that if they needed time prior to the opening date, that they overlooked booking those dates. They are supposed to be professional right? How could they overlook not getting into the 02 on time?
How could they put off so much to so late?
The guys looked ashamed when they were answering those questions. Like they were embarrassed for having to explain the screw up. Well I don't blame them. I'd be embarrassed too. How awful to find all this out after seeing the hyped up audition tape and hearing them talk about how wonderful it is going to be. I don't need to hear that. I am happy for those fans who still get to go and the amazing concert they are going to be able to witness. Congratulations. Honestly I am happy for you. Please remember those who had to sacrifice their chance at seeing this, plus a whole lot of money, so that the rest could have a perfected show. (I know this comes across as bitter, but it isn't meant to. It's meant to be sincere...though now that I am writing it out, I do feel slightly bitter come to think of it. Aw well. I will get over it. MJ's concert isn't the reason I am living and breathing. I've missed out on lots more than just this in my life...)
By the way, just wondering about something: where is Michael? Why aren't we hearing from him? Why isn't he reaching out to the fans that are affected?
A big fat apology is the LEAST he could do, right now. I understand the decision to postpone wasn't his, but it's his show and we are his fans, damnit!
Summer, we should get together and do something fun while there. I believe we'll be there at the same time. Let's go have fun! k? (maybe we can get some eggs together and .. um.. practice our pitching..lol jk ) Maybe we can sit outside the 13th show and cry together. lol. Or we could just forget about MJs concerts and do something totally unrelated. We could try to talk the royal guards into escorting us to the front row of the conce..oh, back to that again am I? Bloody one track mind I have tonight
