I feel for you guys who've lost money or even worse every possibility to go (cuz of exams or anything) and who are pissed and frusterated. This is really (sh)it!
Now let's see how we can help you guys please, let's see what's possible.
Call hotels give them a heartbreaking story and see what's possible.
Call ticket masters for your plane tickets and ask them what's possible... maybe tell them you don't want to change to other flight companies only cuz they are cheaper on the new dates. I'd personally ask my travel agency to find out about everything.


Then again I really hope this is it now... but let's be honest we all know concerts are postponed sometimes even cancelled... it is always a risk with every artist! It was always like that and it will not change, from now on please keep this is mind.
Let's be fair, maybe this was Michaels decision but for sure he has reasons! And as sure his reasons are not to let down fans is so nice for him.

To those of you praising a well known asshole with the initials R.F. let me shortly say... a blind chicken finds a corn at times! Wishing someone bad doesn't mean you've been successfull when this shit really happens to this someone and it doesn't make him a reliable source for whishing bad! that's beyond ridiculous.

We all (should) simply know it's a risk before booking and making reservations when going to a concert far away. At least the artist could get sick every day, there could be a weather chaos or some other stuff bla... please don't put more on risk that you should. Please overthink your decision if you still have the time.


This is might a very hard lesson but the sooner we all learn it, the better.

Im extremly sorry for you guys going to the first shows. I really hope you can work things out.

I have never experienced such a bad mood on this forum. But I can certainly understand that people are frustrated. It's scary to see that love so quickly can be turned to hatred.

That announcement on The Today Show better be good :(
 
This is something we just need to wait out. We can't change it so we have to make due with what we are given. The mood will lift once everyone makes a plan but from what I understand this kinda thing happens frequently so...I don't know. Just ride it out and be there for each other :yes:

yes, this is an introduction to the music industry. especially, the behind the scenes.

i honestly think if we weren't fans of an artist this big, we would have never truly gotten to start to know the music industry, as it really is.
 
I'd hoped that I'd wake up this morning & find out all this was a bad dream - I guesss it wasn't! :( Might as well get rid of my ticker.
 
i,m sure something in the end will work out for the best,if we work together and support one another,maybe just maybe ,aeg out of good will should contact all the major airlines and just maybe they could sought out the dilema you guys have who have none refundable tickets,they could do something ,it,s in thier power to do it,hotels i think maybe will be a little more understanding,after all hotels and airlines will all want this type of buisness in the future,so would be in their interest to please their customers,just a thought,

i remember during the dangerous tour one of my wembly concerts was postponed due to michael being poorly,but postponed by a few days,i just can,t get my head round why they have pushed them back to march next year,
surely their could have been another way round it.

oh also another thing i forgot to mention ,when we booked our coach tickets to london ,we got transferable but not refundable tickets.
could it be possible that people coming from abroad,could transfer their tickets to a different date without refunding it,

your idea about arilines and hotels bending is a good one. indeed, and so is your reason why.
 
Ain't it a surprise how Halperin and the haters are out spreading their crap this moring. NOT! Michael has skin cancer again, his legal troubles, Michael has not been to any rehearsals. Why do GMTV keep going to this twit. Even one channel has on their ticker that Michael shelved the concert dates, wait were they not postponed. Big difference. When it comes to Michael the more drama the better I guess. Different rules for different people.

I'm gonna put my tickets for the now final show (march 6 2010) up for trade or sale.
I will only be able to trade for july 13.
If thats not possible they are gone, there is no way i can go to London in march *sigh*.

this should NOT have happened, what a crappy excuse for their lack of planning-capabilities.
 
Having thought about this over night, what has just dawned on me is AEG have kicked the 02 CUSTOMER PRIORITY BOOKED ticket holders right to the back of the queue.
I wonder what 02 will have to say about this!?!?
Would it not have been better to move the first three none priority concerts to the March 2010 dates and shuffle the priority dates back by a few dates?
In this situation the priority booked tickets should have gotten fairer treatement, especially after all the hype they were given leading up to sale.
 
AEG doesnt care about the fans, just my opinion...
They have cashed in already andf could care less about us.
 
I am so sorry for all of you that are being affected by the changes. I have tix to the July 28th show, and I am praying like crazy that nothing goes wrong because I am coming from the states and Lord knows I only have enough $$ for the dates I have scheduled to go to London....

I hope AEG contacts all the hotels in the surrounding area (London) to work with the ppl that have been affected and not charge them for the change of dates, also send a letter to the airlines and ask them to work with the customers that bought their airline tix already..
 
by the look of the comments the rehearsals were delayed and they had only one day to set the whole thing.... who's problem is that?? lack of planing I say!

Just watched the press conference. What a con, it's not a press conference at all, it's a staged video with one person asking questions. Guess, they didn't want to face the tough questions of the media and wanted to be able to rehearse the questions & answers.
I love the way Randy says 'For those of you who I met at the 1st press conference', as if we'll all believe there's loads of real press there!

Yeah i'd do it easily if the ticket you're going to give is in my section center stage section A2 row D for August 30th. I have a friend who's wanting to come with the rest of us to the show. If you can't produce that ticket then shhhhhhhh.

Definetly an AEG big big mistake.
MJ is pissed as hell, and the fact that fans are turining against him for that is making everything more difficult.
I can understand that there can be mistakes while organizing a tour, OK, there have always been. But then, AEG has to take some fair decisions, wich won't affect fans! WTH is to reschedule the first concerts at the bottom line? O_O not fair, fans should send AEG hundreds of emails everyday, letterally, untill the'll postpone the conerts in other dates in sommer and they will pay the fee for changing the plane tickets.
 
The worst part of the "press conference" is that these two guys is laughin and stuff and i dont need to see that now they have prosponed both concerts im goin to.

Still today im soooooo angry about it that i could KICK michaels cute butt.
 
Have any 02 customers tried complaining to 02? I know its a long shot, but I'm willing to bet a lot of people took out 02 contracts just to get first shot at the priority tickets!!

Priority booking should NOT be shoved to the back, who in their right mind would bother booking priority tickets and then choose the last shows next March!??

I don't think you understand their explanation of why they changed the dates. Madonna and some other artists have shows in the O2 in the 5 days before July 8th. That means they have 5 days less to rehearse, make nescesarry changes, etc. So they simply do not have the space to rehearse and make the changes they need to make.


Still think it's a lame excuse....which they used to cover up Kenny Ortega's lack of planning and timing... but yeah.

Yet they have Michael Jackson special announcement July 9th, and show nothing about the concerts being moved to the 13th.. Well at least on the page link I posted above..
I can understand how they need to do dress rehearsals but I just want to know why in the HELL didn't they think to look at the calendar before setting the opening show for July 8th... Wow AEG you dropped the ball on this one, so busy trying to hurry up and announce a concert by MJ and then put tix on sale a few days later, that they forget to look at the acts already booked for the O2...

This poor planning goes right up there with that shitty a$$ advertisment flier that AllGood Ent made with the Jacksons on it using old pictures...lol

To an extend, I understand they need the O2 arena on the specific dates when Madonna and other acts are in there. I understand that Kenny Ortega can't find time in his schedule to prepare the show (actually...scratch that. I DON'T get that).

I'm looking at #1MJstan's signature where you see Michael go: "I'm tired of you messing with me!! Stop it!" ....why the hell didn't he say that now, and stick up for his fans? This is something that should not, and can not happen. If you plan a show, you look at the calendar, check everyone's schedules, check the O2 schedules, and THEN you announce whatever you are planning. THEN you start tickets sales.

Blah. I'm still angry even after sleeping on it :lol:
 
How can a show not be ready this has obviously been in the planning for at least a year before we all knew about it tooo book 50 dates out of the o2 arena must of been arranged waaaaaaaaay in advanced - thats what pisses me off.

And again what about the fans who have paid lots of ££££ for his "last ever show" well thats not true anymore with the march dates so bet there pissed off. Especially as those people with the last feb date tickets proberly also brought 28th July at the pre sale thinking that was his last date!!

What a con for fans - MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!!

I think i could do a better job planning a tour like this, seriously....

I dont care who made the final decision to change these dates to 2010 (!!!) but Michael wil be held accountable for it and he should have prevented this by either saying NO to the dude that decided to postpone or by simply being in charge of this whole tour from the beginning.

Other artist can do it, why cant he, he is in this business for a long time now :no:.

And yeah, i am still angry after a (short) night as well.
