Prince Michael Conducts First Interview with ET

Prince Michael has given us MJ fans something to talk about,
and to me it looks like he learned a lot and had fun. :cheeky:

Maybe I'm weird, but I feel like that's a pretty heartless thing to say, especially if this is what Prince really wants to do/how he will be able to get there. Yes, of course Michael would've had a different opinion, but we're not Michael and we don't know for certain what it would be. If Michael was here, maybe Prince would feel differently, too.

Ps, I doubt Michael would approve his son used as a bait to get viewers, also LaToya bring in porn producers into their lives. You know what he did when he found out about Marc S?

Yes he fired Schaffel when he found about his porno-carrer but we have to be honest, despite of it he let him coming back in his live after that.
 
I agree with Bubs. But I don't believe it is just the porn producers that Michael would have a problem with. Just my opinion, I'm old school.
 
I don't think he will be a tv reporter. I hope he is thinking about maybe going to college for filmaking and learning about it. I know Michael knew people but would they talk to Prince now if he tried to contact them?

that was his own personal business. Had nothing to do with his son or how his son is being used.

But still, good for him! He's only 16 and he's going for what he wants. His goal isn't to become a media reporter, just remember. He's just reporting about a new movie coming out. He's not gossiping about someone else's life. I really think he deserves a chance and the media needs to get off his back. It's only one interview for this one week.

This sums up how I felt after checking out his segment yesterday. As great as Prince did, it was hard not to cringe at the constant "Michael Jackson's son" mentions and them showing that shadowy image of MJ at every turn.
 
Well that's a better title than the lovely paper The Sun is giving him.

Does anybody else get the impression that a certain Ms Jackson is fancying herself as a manager by default? Watch this space.

Spike lee had tried to interact with Michael's children and got their approval of their father's bad 25 project but seemingly ignored by the children. if prince wants to go into filming and production things, Spike Lee is one of the best to give him help and advice. Latoya or other Jacksons except Janet is the big No when their own life is the failure. The door is open for Prince, the problem is if he would use the resources as Michael's son properly and which path he chooses. working for a tabloid show is indeed the big irony consider michael had been huanted and attcked by them and worked so hard to keep his children away from the tabloid. Prince may be still young to understand a job from the tabloid show and over exposure for nothing will only cheapen himself and his credibility. I am wondering if the Jacksons whisper in their ears and mislead Michael's children.

Totally agree about the lack of credibility. This was the tabloid show which featured liberace's ex boyfriend talking about his gay relationship with mj a few months ago.

To get prince a job on this show whilst mj was going round with jackets emblazoned with burn the tabloids on it just seems like latoya is having a pretty spiteful laugh at mj's expense, she knows full well that mj would never ever have wanted her to direct his chidren's careers. Agree with loveforever,there was a perfect opportunity with spike lee's bad25 for ppb to perhaps have some introduction to documentary making, they could have attended the venice film festival and met some film people there. As far as we know they didn't even go downtown to watch the tribute to mj on the big cinema screen or tweet about watching it on tv because it was sanctioned by the estate. Instead they get to promote energy drinks and hang out with vacuous tabloid tv anchors that when he was alive made their father's life a misery.

I wish he could become a permanent correspondant. (so he can learn about movies)
i dont like latoya anyway, but let's look this from this side, Prince Michel could "use" her, its not that he's bad or anything, but well connection is there and he USES IT =) its not like he admires Latoya...and he likes her for being part of the family just that
 
I agree about others that could help like Spike Lee. The crazy part to me is that Prince asked for Toya's help...WHAT...WHY?! Are these kids not allowed to ask for outside help, maybe?! Because that's what it starting to look like to me. Like this is just another family thing all over again. Just like back in the J5 days and how they was always all over MJ solo career as well, right upto This is it?! SMH

Ummmm might be a percentage thing.
 
They will do everything they can to keep the money... erm I mean the children within the family.
Of course ppb should never get involve with anything that doesnt mean a pay check for the family ( This is what MJ failed to honor according the Jackson mindset)

What could Prince do? outsiders are not an option, and after granny gate either are Janet and the brothers. Latoya is the only person around with connections in showbizz.


It does seem as if Latoya are one of the few people in the family who is giving the kids real attention.

If Branca contacted them for him, they would. Spike Lee just did a documentary on his father and actually worked with MJ. If Prince asked Branca if he could get Spike to spend some time with him, no doubt in my mind about Spike obliging. Someone like Branca has a-list connections. But Prince never even makes reference to JB. I can only imagine how the family bad mouths him. I hope he goes to college too, if for no other reason than to get away from them all and their influence.
 
^^How becoming a permanent correspondant will help him learn about movies? And if he wants to get good connections he has to look outside the Jackson family. He's a young man who can accomplish what he wants which is to produce movies and like you say, he needs the right connections & LaToya is not one of them.

I just hope this gig with ET brings him better things & he makes the decision to find a real manager, someone with real & respectful connections. Michael's kids have the potential to do great things & become whatever they want to be, they just need a good guidance & a lot of sincere support.

^^I was going to say the same thing. Here they go again with trashing the kid the same way they did his dad, and the scary thing is that this is an adult doing this. I hope Prince is strong and understands what the media will try to do to him, and I hope he knows where that nastiness is coming from, and why it exists.

^Hmm...really? Well, Hopefully he will. But, then why this need to be in the spot light all of a sudden to jump start his career then?
 
Arrrrrggghh I've just got to say it. Why the rush? If these children are talented enough then they will be a success later, after they finish their education, it doesn't mean they can't study and learn from the best whilst finishing their academic education but they would be doing so without the media glare.

This is great news! I hope he will do exactly that. The sooner he gets away from this family the better. La Toya is whispering in his ear

Understand your point, being on a show he can meet such people but he doesn't need to be a permanent correspondant when he can use other means to meet directors & producers. But if he prefers it that way, cool. It just be nice if he finds a good manager.

I saw him, he did very well (he's at least to me the one who talks and express more like Michael :) ), even though it was very little time, but we dont know if they got the chance to talk a bit more behind scenes :)
