Prince Michael Conducts First Interview with ET

ET at times is tabloid, but it is still probably the #1 go to show for big celebs, movie studios and networks.

On Oscar night everyone is going to stop by them to talk to whoever they have working the red carpet.

So i'm impressed and surprised that Latoya was able to set this up.

I'm happy for Junior but my heart sunk after seeing LaToya connection:puke:
Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket have three aunts. But, as far as we know, only one, LaToya, has chosen to look after their well-being from day to day.

Latoya looking after their well-being?????????????????????

Do you mean LaToya is looking after her own well-being? Latoya knows which side of her bread is buttered.

Have you noticed that Prince prefers to be called "Prince Michael"?
I will try to remember to refer to him in that manner from now on.

And this is why before it was baffling that the family would waste these kids in such z-list ventures. Now with this legit gig, doesn't Latoya who is a shamless famwhore, get to go along with the ride? Before it was just the kids being around z-listers just for the hell of it. And no one but the die MJ fan community cared. Now with this, Prince is going to get alot of mainstream media attention.

I totally agree, I just hope she doesn't screw PM at all but I wouldn't be surprised if happens exactly the opposite... :sigh:

I am happy for Prince and I hope he'll be able to fulfill his dreams.
Aww, I loved how he said his Daddy raised him right. I hope this will show the public what we have known for years: what a wonderful, warm and kindhearted father Michael was, and that he raised his three munchkins well.

ET is gettting what they want ratings and Prince Michael is getting what he want and that is
EXPERIENCE. I think he put them on notice by saying That was all thinks to my DAD, he raised me right.

I have to admit that I do like that they kept saying Prince Michael and not just Prince. I want him to be his own person but it's nice to hear. Michael does live on through his children.

Did he say that himself? It's mostly media outlets that refer to him in that manner. It doesn't necessarily mean he prefers it.

Everybody else just calls him Prince.

However if that is how he prefers than right on. Sometimes there are many ways to say a persons name. Some people prefer it one way and some other people don't care. XD It's whatever he is comfortable with that matters. :)

I am watching it right now on tv. He is wearing the same suit in the promos but his shirt is black and sparkly. It just looks like the one Michael wore at the 2006 WMAs. Something similar anyways.

NEW: La Toya Jackson arranged the reporting job for Prince Jackson
NEW: Prince asked his aunt "for her help in starting his career," a source says
Entertainment Tonight will air his first interview in chunks throughout the week
Prince is due to inherit millions but wants to make his own money

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's oldest son launched his showbiz career this week with a gig as a guest correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight," a job his aunt La Toya Jackson arranged.

The first assignment for Prince Michael Jackson, who celebrated his 16th birthday last Wednesday, was an interview with actors James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi about their remake of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

"I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor," Prince Jackson told ET's Brooke Anderson, who coached him on interviewing techniques.

Michael Jackson's sister La Toya was "very instrumental" in setting up the job, a source close to her told CNN.

"Prince came to her and asked for her help in starting his career," said the source, who was not authorized to talk to the media.

La Toya, who owns an entertainment company, "was like an onset mom!" during the shoot, the source said. "She was so caring, making sure he looked great, going over his script with him, and just (being) there for him 1000%, coaching him for each day he worked."

ET will broadcast clips from the interview throughout this week.

Michael Jackson's three children -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- were kept out of public view until they appeared at his memorial service, when Jackson died in 2009.

Since then, Prince has made public appearances, including at events to honor his father.

In February 2010, at the age of 12, Prince Jackson accepted a Grammy for lifetime achievement on behalf of the iconic entertainer. In the fall of the following year, he autographed replicas of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" and "Thriller" leather jackets for a special sale on Amazon.com.

Though he will inherit millions from his father's estate, he is determined to make his own money, a lawyer for the Jackson family has said.

He wants to do it all, Prince Jackson told Anderson. But he has said that he can't sing or dance like his father.

La T:censored: :)nono:) around... :puke: She would not miss it.... May God always protect Prince (and his brothers) of snakes and leeches.

Of course Latoya will get a fee for acting as manager, but what I do not understand is why doesn't he have a regular agent like other star kids who want to get into the business. If Latoya has a wealth of connections, wouldn't she use them for herself with her career? No doubt Latoya made them promise to include that Prince came to her for help.

Saw the Youtube clip of Prince parts so far on E.T, he did really well. And yea no surprise La Toya was all over that.

Prince is charming and doing great. But being cut cheery and smiling between those stories about a woman who had a seizure in a reality show and then killed herself, and then someone else's medical procedures savored on TV... Oh my god, tabloid culture in its worst. "They Eat Off Of You, You're A Vegetable..." There is nothing bad in being a reporter, but not in such surroundings.

La T:censored: :)nono:) is really much around PPB. And this is even more worrying. :fear: :(

I hope LaToya is sincere about helping and encouraging the children. She needs to try to make up for the wrong she did Michael and I hope that this is her way of making up for what she did. Personally, I find it hard to trust her and I do not think well of her as a person, but I remind myself that I really do not know her. It appears that the rest of the family has little to do with her, but I may be wrong. She's a middle aged woman who still talks in a baby voice and feigns naivete but I guess I should not hold that against her, it works for her.

Well, I see Michael's family as wolves disguised as rabbits. Apparently they are all harmless, but in reality are not. :nono: It is impossible to completely trust 1000% in each them. Never!
