Prince Michael Conducts First Interview with ET

Prince Michael is still in school (and stated he want to get higher education as well) as is Paris & Blanket... So, I think Prince is doing fine with the part of taking small steps towards different angles of the industry, So far he has followed a path, so he seems to have a goal to achieve, which reminds me of something Michael his father would want for him as well as he is continuing his schooling too.
Prince spoke of what he wanted and seemed to quietly map it out and is now starting his small steps towards a larger goal.
High School plus College + taking steps to achieve his career goal(s) and he seems to remember everything his father told/taught him, Paris remembers as well.. as long as he stays grounded I think he will be okay, perhaps his schooling and just being 16 inbetween will do that for him. Not bad for his age. Give him time to sort it all out, perhaps he is mapping out another end of the business & life like the financial aspect and just wants to leave that behind the scenes, we just don't know everything, we only know what is available to us via media(s)
Those kids remember what their dad taught them, you can see it clearly. I would think Prince knows how the introductory of the show states "Michael Jackson's son..." as he does study behind the scenes - he probably knows "this is the business" He needs to find his way, and make his path and once he does he will be able to call a lot of shots on point even more so. I'm trying to have faith in Michael's children. They are doing exactly what Michael was going to get into before he passed away - behind the scenes & movies The sound & The vision The details will come they are afterall MJ's children I believe Michael taught them well.

souldreamer& wonderful post. ^^I see more tabloid articles posted bashing Michel's children again, & this one from the guardian. maybe we should not give these things so much clicks.

How the f**k did that hag Oprah dare to give an opinion on Prince's gig on ET if she was the first one to use PPB to make them being on the spotlight to have more raitings!

What a crap has ET became, Prince was the only worthwhile person to watch!

what happened to oprah's HAIR????

Seems like the kids can't win no matter what (just like Michael) when it comes to the media morons. If they are secluded, it's bad it's so very wrong. And if they go out in public and start to have careers or career wishes in the public, it's so bad and so wrong. There is so much nastiness it's makes me ill. I read that Guardian piece and it really sickened me how nasty people can be--to kids!! All Prince did was ask some questions--some intelligent questions, I might add. He asked how the Franco character transformed from a con man to a caring person--something the media morons could learn about (including Oprah).

First time watching it, I had been avoiding it but I just had to. He did quite nice even though you could sense a bit of nervousness he handled it well and the interview turned out to be fun. One dislike: Oprah and her yapping... :puke:

We need to include the media bashing of underage children under the bullying category & post it on the internet. That is the only way to draw attention to this trend which I see is happening to many children. They are becoming a prey of the media which to me is a form of abuse. Someone needs to do something about it.

Look around though. Celeb kids being in the spotlight is looked upon in a bad way. That's why I find it messed up the kids are being as overexposed as they are. No way it's not going to be seen in a good light.

It just shows how out of touch the Jacksons are to allow this to happen.

The difference here, is that the Jackson kids are doing regular or well behaved activities, which are public but it is the media who is slanting it as a negative thing & associating it with kids gone wild behavior. I was at someone's home and they had the tv on with a program where these young 20 year olds comment on gossip, and the guy was linking Paris new look to that Logan character & asking people to let him know what they think. Now Paris does not behave like Logan, but it is the media that is spinning the kids actions in that way. So what are the kids to do, hide from the world until 21? The media will continue to do their thing regardless. That is why I say it is the behavior of the media at fault here & not Michael's children's behavior. So rather than us finding fault with what these kids are doing, we should look at their behavior in the natural way it is, in the context of appropriate child development & exploration & not feed in to the media slant.

There are many children as part of a group, performing on Broadway, in hotels, in movies, sometimes doing shows that start at 8pm, and these are all seen as OK. Additional, their activities are seen as their profession. Why can't Prince do the same? Even that little girl with the big voice that sings opera works in the night in front of huge audiences, has cd's, but is applauded and no one has anything negative to say about it. However, a 16 year old, who asks some questions on a program is blasted, & called names together with his father in articles. I can't approve of that.

By the way that article ^^ that links one of Michael's children to a chimp, I would do something about it if it was a US paper. Because if that is not a veiled attempt of that old scheme to see African heritage people as monkeys, I do not know.

From what i'm seeing for the most part most fans aren't at all blaming the kids. I think most fans just have issues with how the adults around them are overly promoting them and them wanting careers. History shows the celeb kids that are usually lowkey are the ones that end up with the careers in the entertainment industry, so the overselling of MJ's kids is just head scratching.

It's just how things are being gone about is what alot of fans aren't getting. It just seems like Katherine, the kids are being set up to be gone after by the media.

Unfortunately those aholes are doing exactly what they're still doing with their father, bashing them no matter what they do just like with Michael but if he were here, he wouldn't allow that crap to happen. Jermaine said PBB were being "fiercely protected" and the reality is that the only one who really did such thing was their own father. I just wish them to have the intelligence and metal strenght to put up with all the bs. :sigh:

Of course they have the mental strength to put up with bs and more. Also, the fact that they constantly make strong remarks on how well Michael raised them shows that they are indeed smart and know how to handle rough times, their father taught them well. But despite that, they're young kids who need guidance and care for whenever things get too rough to handle. I think the Jacksons should be reminded of that everyday...

That's the thing, you can't dismiss it as tabloid. The guardian is a leftwing liberal broadsheet.

Unfortunately, despite the snidey tone of it, there are things in it that i agree wholeheartedly about. Any bashing is directed at the family. It is downright bizarre, how mj's children have gone from being themost protected in the whole world to being tabloid reporters/ on thechat show circuit/ their own twitter/appearing on a reality show all whilst in their early teens.
