Pet Peeves

One more I want to add on here - waiting for people who are consistantly late. It drives me up a wall!

People griping about the music on the radio (or anything else like movies, TV shows, etc.) being bad. Don't listen to it then. Problem solved, lol. I haven't listened to the radio on purpose since 1990 or 1991. I've watched maybe 2 or 3 television programs created after the 1980's. I don't know or care about what's been popular since then.

Perfume, colognes, air fresheners, etc. I have no idea why people think spraying chemicals smell good.

People who don't have their metro cards ready when they get to the subway turnstile. They stand their fiddling trying to get the card out of their wallet or handbag, not caring that there are people behind them.

people who know they can use cunning unspoken codes, that are taboo to talk about, in order to get away with negative stuff. and the fact that they use them, and they know they're using them, deliberately, and they know they are deliberately denying it. and they know that we know that they are deliberately denying it, and they are laughing on the inside.

Some Prince fans who downgrade Michael Jackson's talent just to make Prince look good.

people who just talk to me when they want something :mello:

Morning traffic when pedestrians and cyclists don't pay any attention to where they're going and they shamelessly bump into you when you try to dodge them, without even saying sorry. Instead they say "watch out, stupid!" What a great way to start a day.

I know that lying is bad but everybody does it blah blah blah but;

People who lie about OTHER people TO other people and then when confronted deny doing it and are therefore lying ABOUT the people they lied TO.

I mean it's one thing to lie about yourself, but about other people is not very fair, although thankfully in this kind of situation both parties can compare notes and realise they've both been being mugged off.

I'm sure there's other things that annoy me, despite the fact I'm not easily annoyed but right now this ones kind of fresh in my mind so thought I'd rant it out

um ok.................

I hate wH3n P3Opl3 tYp3 lIk3 tHi$ It I$ $tUpId @nD @nNoYiNg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
people who spit or 'clear their throat' or burp in public:puke:
people who play their music loud on the street or bus or whatever
when someone is clearly not paying any attention to what I'm saying
when people defy me or pretend not to hear me
when someone uses acronyms for everything and I don't understand a thing

and many more but I can't think of any right now:D

You guys are funny
Okay, let me see...

- the press

- movies where the phone keeps ringing and no one picks the damn thing up! :D

- the stupid press

- people who say "I like Michael's music but his personality and lifestyle are highly questionable". Hypocrites!

- people who keep portraying Michael like some sort of idiot who wasn't able to make any decisions on his own and couldn't think for himself. He was an adult, a clever business man, a wonderful humanitarian and a musical genius, damn it!

- so-called music critics and experts who pretend that Michael's music career was over right after Thriller

- negative comments on MJ videos on youtube. I stopped reading them completely. Some people feel very powerful sitting behind a computer. The haters are obsessed with Michael, the way they keep stalking his videos is ridiculous

- people who think that ridiculing Michael equals making a light joke. It upsets me and then I get accused by others of not having a sense of humour "Hey, can't you take a joke, he/she makes fun of every celebrity"

When you're on the phone with someone, and they keep interrupting you because someone in the background is talking to them....I get so pissed, I don't care who it is, I always tell them to call me later...when they're ALONE...:lol:

I hate when I'm talking to my mother on the phone and her call waiting clicks and she tells me she needs to hang up with me so she can get the other caller. Well, I never! That is so rude and they need to wait because I was talking to her first, lol.

guys who don't know how to respect a lady

people who use cuss words in every sentence

- people who undertake me or flash me even when I'm doing 200! I would move if I could, I'm not one of those who keep blocking the fast lane. I can't move because there is traffic in front of me. Where the hell do you want me to go? Pull over into the lorry next to me and crash just so you can be one car ahead? Just leave 5 min. earlier if you're in such a rush.

You do mean 200 km, right?

People (esp in shops) who get off at the bottom of an escalator and stand there on the spot, wondering where to go next ..Hellooooo there is a pile-up behind you!

People who go into a revolving door very slloooowwwllyyyy thenspeedupastheyleave.

People who try to get in to the same compartment of a revolving door as you...sorry , no room, aagh and now I'm stuck trying to get out.

Bad drivers. The ones who don't indicate, bully others into moving over so they can continue their suicidal speeds up. Maniacs!

Overweight luggage!
+ coming back from a country with cold & nice weather to a country with very warm weather..nightmare :heat:

Oh those are so irritating (although I've never experience the last one, thank goodness). How about when someone gets into a revolving door behind you and shoves the door into you because apparently you're not going fast enough for them.

I hate when I find a table at Starbucks all to myself (which is hard to do) and then some stranger comes along and sits next to me...ruining my entire day. So I avoid Starbucks.

me too  i hate phones

Yeah, I can't stand them.... IMO it's the worst form of communication, it's too hard to express yourself & say everything you want to say. Half the time I'm just thinking of how the hell I'm going to end the conversation and hang up
