I believe Biggs is not only a clown but an exposed liar . The jury got to know how he lied on purpose regarding MJ's share in the catalouge , when he had the nerve to say under oath MJ was in $ 400 millions in debt but had no asset worth anything near $ 200 , 300 or 4000 millions. When he was forced to admit to his lie there was A LONG PAUSE in the court room .

A liar when he testified that he built his estaimation on a Jacksons' expert who said due to Murray's presence in MJ's life , MJ had a one week life expectancy . He insisted on deleting Murray from the equation , when he was the very reason for the expert's openion

A paid liar who reviewed all the testimonies from the four doctors however did not believe he had to review the coroner's report when addressing MJ's life expectancy .

The jury already heard what AEG bosses said about the success MJ had , how much hopes they had for the concerts , a $ 700000 paid to lie expert who was impeached heavily would do nothing to change that .

THANK YOU so much for this post!!!!! I dont get it why more fans here do not see this as troubling.

a paid liar that was forced to admit thriller 25 was successful.

briggs charged AEG $700,000 and all he provided was a binder with about 2 inches of document. laughable!!

and he was more messy when it turned out the survey his company used just had asked 1800 ppl in the US and not worldwide. everyone know MJs biggest fanbase was overseas and thats why TII was gonna take place in london. hell several of AEG witnesses said they chose london because of the fanbase and this fool briggs survey did not include countries except the us. messy

if there were an international survey done then maybe MJs earnings wouldnt be "speculative". lmao

Soundmind I agree about Briggs. He lied or omitted things that can be easily discovered from other witnesses in his efforts to do a good job for his client. He reminds me a lot of White, who tried to claim that they do not follow any regs in the operating room. Briggs pushes the word speculation when he does not want to commit to an answer that he feels will not help his client. Both experts are way too extreme and hopefully the jury will see that.

It was good to see Panish bring up the coroner's report. Yet all through the trial, it seems that Panish himself had forgotten about the coroner's report. However, the report is remembered when one wants to show that Michael was in good health to Make Money!!!.

Thrill good point about surveys, which I see as no good, unless the person doing them tells the court the population makeup of the sample, geographic details, how the sample was created, and basically all the statistical criteria we learned about in school. People see the word survey and think "oh sound data," but it does not mean a thing unless we have all the factors about the sample.

He lied about that two ? How convenient , the only market MJ was not considering , was the basis for his opinion , WOW .

Forget that we got to know the paramedics told the bodyguard MJ suffered from low blood sugar which perfectly explains what happened .

Even if Low Blood sugar comment was sustained, the jurors heard it :)

i knoww hilarious right?? Panish did a great cross. Briggs was even forced to admit the AEG exces had told the demand was so high they could've done 100 shows if they wanted hahah. he was also forced to testify that even aeg and ortega were talking about a worldtour after london. it was hilarious and painful to read his cross

Frankly I care less about the Jacksons and Painsh , what I care about is at least the jury feels if both sides are presenting conflicting testimonies , contradicting themselves at least there was one witness who told the truth, had no motive to lie ,was not paid ; that was the coroner . If they want to judge Mike , at least judge him based on a sceintific peice of paper , not exaggerated lies from boths sides who had a billion reasons to lie and actually are proven liars .

@tygger

the letter you have been asking about is available from the court for $7.50

Jorrie is testifying. There have been issues about attorney client privilege.

Oh thanks. I was wondering what happened. To me this is something that should have been worked out before trial. There are too many issues that are causing this trial to linger.

Soundmind I know we all do not perceive testimony the same way, and that is one of the reasons a jury has more than 1 person on it.

It was a last minute thing. AEG gave 48 hours notice that they would call Jorrie to the stand to talk about her talks with Murray and the drafts. Jackson lawyers filed a brief claiming that AEG putting Jorrie on the stand means they waived attorney - client privilege (Jorrie is a lawyer for AEG) and Jacksons can question Jorrie in regards to everything. AEG filed a motion arguing that they aren't waving any attorney-client privilege, Jorrie will only be testifying about narrowly limited and unprivileged stuff such as her talks with Murray. It looks like there was an oral discussion about it with the judge and the testimony started late. You are right that the Jackson lawyers wait for the last second to bring such arguments. Jorrie has been deposed 6 months ago and her name has been on that witness list for 4 months.

Oh I see, but they make a good point about once you waive attorney-client privilege Panish could then ask everything. I think that is one of the reasons when the lawyer is talking to the client, he makes sure no one else is around except maybe the private legal secretary, because on the witness stand if the other side find out others were present, they could argue it was not a attorney-client privilege situation, and then ask the witness everything.

Regarding tour proceedings and charity. That was a desperate attempet to furthur use charachter assasination on AEG behalf They have just done with the bodyguard who testified Mj sent them to donate games worth thousands of dollars that he was handing money to poor people in the streets that was a witness AEG put on the stand what purpose could they achieve from hinting he lied about donating to charities ? Desperation

^^You already know that Briggs has to give his 700,000 worth to his client, which means he will try to say anything that will show no or little money. He is making himself very obvious though, which is not helping AEG case.

-Jorrie also told jurors she mistakenly left language in a contract that Murray signed that called for him to perform services "reasonably requested" by AEG Live.

-She maintained throughout her testimony that Murray was Jackson's personal doctor and the language about him performing services for the promoter shouldn't have been in the agreement. Jackson's approval was required on the contract, but he died before signing it.

That mistake is going to be a problem for AEG. She testified that she works with contracts and trial work, so why did she make this crucial mistake, if indeed it was a mistake?

Heads up : AEG want to play Jacksons expert Shimelman deposition, Jacksons are opposing. Shimelman is the doctor who said Michael had one week to live (mentioned by Briggs during his testimony). In his deposition he says Michael was addicted to opioids / Demerol since 1993 and never stopped using them (getting injections even when he had the implant) and actively addicted to Demerol at time of his death. He lists almost all of Michael's doctors for giving him not good medical care.

AEG has 2 of their own witnesses to testify to similar things.

Oh Oh. No wonder they are objecting. Funny this has to happen after Chang's cross of the security guard. This doc will be making similar statements as other experts anyway. I can't see how Panish is going to prevent AEG from playing that deposition. It seemed Panish was playing a dual hand that backfired. On one hand he wants to show that Michael was a known addict, so he got people to show that. On the other hand he wants a Michael that is not addicted, healthy, and could live a long life. He should have taken one position and stuck to it. Now he got this Schemilman--another paid person--who is going to screw him. Talk about backfire!!!!

That is what happens when people play dirty.

This dr. though, sounds a little extreme. If Michael was addicted since 93 and NEVER stopped using them (I assume he means he was a continuous addict) how did the coroner find his body in that condition. I wonder if the doctors he lists can do anything legally to him, unless he has some concrete proof.

Opps sorry double post.

And he is a Jackson expert. Probably using what the Jacksons told him. This sounds like something the Jackson family would do accusing people without proof

And he is a Jackson expert.

Isn't that funny!!! Talk about irony. I wonder how much they paid that one, and I will like to know which medical records he looked at, and why his conclusions are different from the other plaintiff dr.

yeah that's obviously the reason why AEG wants to play it. A Jackson expert hired and paid by Jacksons saying his life expectancy was low would have a lot more credibility than an expert paid by AEG

Ha Ha. Things are getting interesting now. Anyway I see AEG spending time to show Michael was an addict, but shouldn't they also try to show that they knew NOTHING about this ongoing addiction. I wonder if for rebuttal the Jacksons would try to show that AEG knew? It seems that attorneys for both sides will be doing or saying things that will come back to bite them.

Yeah, it's funny how when Joe Jackson asked her to go check on Michael, she didn't go. Her excuse being that she didn't want to invade Michael's privacy.

BUT she had no problem invading Michael's privacy when she went and put herself in the middle of that meeting in Beverly Hills, also attended by her husband and his buddy Leonard Rowe.

Had she gone to check on Michael that day, she MIGHT have run into the Murderer Murray and she MIGHT have had the opportunity to ask the good doctor some questions.

Apparently if it involved money that little privacy issue didn't matter. Just my opinion.

Once again all that mattered was the $$$ not mj himself

This guy sounds a bit extreme. And how can you say he used demerol since 93 when AEG themselves say Michael was drug free for some time? Again a Jackson expert I am sure he got some bs story from the family

I'll try to do summary of all three experts from partial depositions before I go to bed

No doubt Brian Pannish is a smart lawyer, but I wonder if he knew what he was getting into with this family?
