Tygger - I fully realise it was the Los Angeles DA who filed the charge against Murray - What I am saying is that Murray should have been charged on seperate points I made clear in my original message. I also realise that the DA didn't want to set the bar too high and go for a more serious charge other than manslaughter but in an ideal world Murray should have faced more than one seperate charge.

Interesting, I wonder why. People often say that he was such a respected doctor and that is why AEG couldn't have anticipated anything....

I've not heard of her since that open letter she wrote to paris after wildfire of madness, tellilng her to reign it in a little. Could say the same to her after her antics with daphne barack in london just before 25 june.

Well nothing new from today that we did not hear in the Muarry trial. Strange that Panish is putting on his case as though it is against Michael will all those photos of the "messy" rooms, which the media is stressing in their articles.

It seems that Katherine is bringing different children so that different people will hear different pieces of the evidence.

Martinez is relating what Katherine said about the interventions, but I wonder if he actually investigated to find out if the interventions were true. Then one minute Katherine acts as though she does not know about the drug use, but then she knows about one intervention. Katherine will be very interesting on the stand.

Conrad Murray is lying, and the AEG executors named in the lawsuit are lying.
All this lying needs to stop.

^^According to Martinez it is a criminal act to get someone's credit report without their consent, so I guess Putnam may say that since they did not hire Muarry, they did not have his consent to get a credit report.

What was Michael supposed to do about the pain in his back? Stay in bed all day? Not take pain pills for his back just to make them happy? Screw that. If my back hurts I take something. Why if he took something he was an addict?

Re CPR--from what was said at the trial of CM, I understood CPR was not needed or helpful--what was needed was to clear the airway (the simple chin lift Dr. Shafer spoke about) and get the lungs going (maybe mouth-to-mouth or breathing machines that were not there--equipment that anesthesiologists have).

Tygger, the 'concertventions' can be presented as if they were 'interventions' to help MJ, but in fact they were 'concertventions' to help family members who needed $$. We will see what 'interventions' are actually claimed--where and when.

Dileo's vm re we want to know what he's 'doing' says to me that he suspected drugs, so he wanted a blood test. Also he said 'we'--so he had spoken with AEG people and they did suspect drugs, but of course maybe not propofol at that point. I think MJ used propofol in the past when actually performing, not for rehearsals. Dileo (rip) could tell us a lot if he were still here and a witness.

re the financial background checks, credit reports, seems the only way AEG wpould have gotten the credit report is if they had hired a private eye, and why would they do that for an MD, and one who had been MJ's family dr. for years? Doesn't make sense, as they were probably not that suspicious about him--and had no reason to be. Maybe they could have been suspicious of ANY dr. but why CM in particular--he presented well and MJ had vouched for him.

^^It seems this is the way the trial is going to be. Every sick moment will be due to the result of his addiction. Right now I am just mad that Panish case is so much against Michael when it should be against AEG. So far, the witnesses are showing what is "wrong" with Michael, and then Muarry. When will they get to the attacks against AEG?

This trial is taking long with Panish spending all that time on Muarry's debt like an overkill. If Martinez is saying that Muarry's actions were influenced by his debt because he wanted to get money. Then, why would he be careless with his only patient who was giving him the money he needed to pay that debt?

Then, either Muarry had enough money from his salary to pay his debt & he did not, or his salary could not keep up with his debts. Shouldn't Panish show which it is, because if they make a claim that he needed this money due to debt, there is no guarantee he would use this new money to pay off his debt, if his regular salary was sufficient & the debt was still not being paid. If that is the case, then his actions would not have been motivated by his need to get money for his debt. So debt or no debt Muarry would act the same way & AEG would have no way of knowing.

Jamba ^^ I agree. It seems the way Panish was stressing that Martinez used the credit report, was to imply that AEG could have done so. That is why I think Putnam asked Martinez about needing consent from the person.

About the we, which you think mean Frank spoke to AEG, I don't know. Wasn't Frank Michael's staff. Couldn't he mean we as in, "you Muarry & I Frank." Could he mean himself & Ortega? Could he mean himself & Phillips?

It would be good if that happens, but since AEG is also going for the drug angle, I don't see them quizzing the family on the time of the interventions. Maybe Panish will have them say the time though, but I noticed that when Martinez testified about being told about the interventions, he did not say that the family said it was done at a specific time/day/event. That is the way the evidence has been going so far--no specific dates and times. For example, Michael was an addict throughout. Apart for that comment from grandma about she thinks a bridge collapsed and hurt Michel's back, the jury is not getting specific dates. It is just one long continuous drug path since the pepsi incident. Maybe they will get more detailed later?

I know it is only 4 days, but this case is dragging.

One of the highlights of testimony today was the contradiction of Katherine in relation to health issues of Michael. The fact that she thinking that the medicine was for back pain and never have known Murray until the day of his son's death, denounces that the relationship was not as close, despite declarations full of love that Michael always did when talking about his mother and despite the note written by him which was shown to the jury on the first day.

However, despite questionable behavior of Jacksons, which suggests failure, they are not the defendants in the case. Let's see how this evolves.

Good point re the contradiction between the note and the reality that she didn't know CM or why/if MJ was taking prescription drugs. I think when she gets on the stand it will be more of the same--I think she will not have much to share/offer except feelings (motherly feelings)--meaning grief, anguish, confusion. Personally, I question how much he confided in her esp. in the last years. I think whatever she knows comes from the press, same with the sibs.

what bugs the hell out of me about this lawsuit is that The Jackson's INSIST there were SO MANY interventions. What about the letter they all signed in 2007 that said that there was NEVER any interventions and that Michael had NO problem whats so ever. Where they lying THEN....what changed from 2007 to 2009?....Again I ask...were they lying THEN OR are they lying NOW??...while I do not particularly have a "side" in this trial I HOPE that AEG brings up that letter...because it's ridiculous. It seems as they are MISSING the whole point of this case...and that is SUPPOSE to be..WHO hired Murray...NOT how much of a drug addict was Michael Jackson. Jeez...that whole point there can be solved in 2 seconds ...all they have to do is introduce the autopsy report into evidence....it really does speak for itself. The ONLY side I am on here....IS Michael's....and that's it!!

If this letter is AUTHENTIC, it doesn't bode well for AEG.
Not exactly a smoking gun, but of circumstantial value to show a PATTERN.
I'm sure at this point they've would've already dug out the contracts of
personal staff like chefs, nurses, trainers (Lou Feringo) (sp), Karen Faye & the like.
If they can fire Grace, which is telling of them
to weild their alleged "employer's" jurisdiciton to HIRE & FIRE
then why not his PERSONAL doctor CM?

The message left by Frank Dileo was retrieved by police from the cellphone of Dr. Conrad Murray and played during the trial of a negligence lawsuit filed by Jackson's mother against concert promoter AEG Live.

"I'm sure you're aware he had an episode last night," the message said. "He's sick ... We gotta see what he's doing."

Plaintiff's lawyer Brian Panish acknowledged outside court that the episode occurred on the day Jackson was told by Kenny Ortega, the director of his "This is It" concert, to go home from a rehearsal because he was pale and shivering.

Panish suggested that if Dileo was aware of the incident, so were AEG executives.

ok,but maybe they will say that MJ told them to fire Grace--???? Maybe if they locate Grace and get her on the stand we can find out at least her side.

This trial has so many loose ends and unknowables due to the fact not only Mj is deceased, but also others in the know, such as Dileo and Peter Lopez. When you think about it, if CM won't talk, MJ is gone, Deleo is gone, who can say what was going at AEG except AEG???
