Official MTV Video Awards Thread [Janet Jackson, Trailer, Spoliers Here]

are there any uploads of the Tribute performance yet? I know some folks who could not see it in time. I taped it but I don't have the means to get it online..lol.
 
Are any of the live streams working?

Seems they're cutting them one by one.

Anyway, this is what happens when you actually have TIME to develop a tribute to Michael. This tribute was fantastic. Madonna's speech was absolutely brilliant and truthful. She or no one else could have said it any better.

And Janet...well, what can I say. She paid an amazing tribute to her brother like no other Jackson can.....until Blanket grows up....he, he! And when she danced next to her brother....that was priceless. The highlight of the night.

I loved the way the dancers paid tribute to his stage customes by wearing all of his various jackets. Just amazing. I cried from Madonna to Janet.

By the way, yall....I went to a wine vineyard yesterday. The owner threw herself a birthday party and brought out the wine and we partied all afternoon under a beautiful sun. And guess what she did? She brought out a MJ impersonator....his name was T something. He was asian and he came with an entire dance group with him and the dude was great from the toe stands to the moonwalk. He was simply amazing. I took a picture with him. And at the end, his dancers came to get some of us out of the crowd and they picked me and we went up there and the impersonator had a get in a circle while he lipsynched to Heal The World. And that is when I broke down on my way to my seat. Tears just gushed out of my eyes. It was so beautiful, yall. Everybody at that party...a bunch of rich people...loved Michael. And afterwards, a bunch of us went over to Neverland and took pictures at the gate....the birthday lady's vineyard was only a mile from Neverland. I had one of my best friends from Louisiana with me and she is also a huge fan and she got the treat of a lifetime. It was a great day. You could just feel the love in that community for Michael.
 
If Kanye should interrupt anyone it should have been Jack Black... I cant stand that man.. Especially after how he humiliated Michael in the past.. How can he come on MTV now and have a clean concience..

JANET WAS MAD AS HELL!!!! I felt the look on her face, she wanted to scream....
 
just logged in at work so can't really check all this whole thread - can someone please tell me what has happened so far? Have we seen the trailer or Janet yet?

Me to i cant stop crying always felt quality for wat has happen that some how as a fan i am to blame like wat madonna said we r all to blame such a heavy heart,so dont want to breath anymore to hard xx

Kanye has no discretion whatsoever. I think he's crazy or something. That was uncalled for to do that just because he was upset Beyonce didn't win.

I saw the look on Janet's face after she got done. So much hurt and pain when she looked up, thinking of Michael, and then anger when she looked toward the audience. At least it seemed that way to me.
 
OMG just show the trailer......they are getting all of these good ratings right now cuz people wanna see the trailer....I hate MTV.
 
Was it the TII trailer that they played during the pre-show?

I hate to say it but I think they're going to milk having our attention to show the trailer near the end of the show. I'm about ready to turn the channel myself and just wait for TSCM to upload the full trailer afterwards. Don't know how much more of this show I can take. :yawn:
