what was that anyway??? Even though Taylors not my kind of music, that was uncalled for

Back on topic..Janets voice was definately auto tuned, but Scream was awesome, and Janet is now #2 on my top 10 list. :)
 
JANET'S AMAZING!!!! Amazing tribute, I started crying when Madonna spoke about Michael. Very very touching speech, you could see how moved the crowd was.

On another note... What the hell is wrong with Kanye West? Poor Taylor Swift... She looked so lost!!!
 
Taylor Swift won an award
and Kayne West jumped on stage in the middle of her aceptance speech
took away her mic and stated Beyonces video was best _ Even Beyonce
was appalled and shocked at what he did _ and poor Taylor was left speechless

He is so far from Michael _ so full of himself

Now Madonna made me cry. It was fitting for her to do that speech. Janet killed it - she made me proud. She's only Jackson that could have pulled off a major tribute like that. Well done, Janet.
 
What did Kanye do again, I though he stop pulling this type of stunt.

ETA: I see, that was kinda rude of Kanye even though Taylor's not my type of music.
 
They definetely put some auto tune on Janet's part in Scream.

I missed Kanye's part cause I had to turn it. I can't stand the host. Loved Janet's performance! :)
 
I feel like crying so badly but I can't because I'm too anxious.

Madonna was incredible - and I'm a big fan of hers as it is - but those were haunting words. Her speech reminded me of Lisa Marie Presley's blog statement. "We all turned our backs on him." I'm getting chills just from typing that quote.

I know what I could have done to try and save him, but I'm also reminded of what people like Madonna - who command so much power in the industry and are so influential in the world - could have done to make everything better for Michael. She was honest, painfully honest, and it was indeed painful. It was a hard speech to listen to.

The tribute was excellent and I was tearing up as Janet came on stage. But I think they could have done more for him. Without Michael, there wouldn't be a VIDEO Music Awards. Someone should have said something about that; someone should have paid homage to what he did for the industry.

I miss him.
 
Kanye has a grudge against MTV ever since his Jesus Walks & Golddigger videos did not win any awards - they were nominated though.
