Looks like people that ordered with The Times offer are getting them now as someone on another forum received their's this morning!
 
I ordered mine from Ticketmaster as soon as they were announced and mine came this morning. Only after I called them yesterday though. My friend is still waiting for hers!

Don't worry. I only got e-mail about 15mins ago, but like you I was worried at 1st as to where my e-mail was.

Well, I am quite worried since I have received no email, only the first one about the Opus coming soon, but that was long ago. Not even an answer to my questions.

Do you have a number for this person? Was it Opus or Ticketmaster?
 
Sarah.loves.michael & starone angel this is the no. I rang +44 (0)20 7213 9587 and you have to ring them if you want the second glove.

When you ring don't speak 1st. As When I rang them 1st this morning, as soon as girl answered I said I was ringing about Michael Jackson book, and was told I had wrong no. that they were accountants. I waited 30mins and when I let her speak 1st I got "hello this is ....." and then I told her what I was ringing for, before saying "That's funny 30mins ago you were accountants." Lol!

We have received orders from over 100 countries for this epic celebration of Michael's life and every possible effort has been made to ensure that orders placed before December 1 would reach customers wherever they are around the globe in time for Christmas.

Unfortunately, despite the constant intense efforts of our distribution team to resolve issues with shipping and customs intervention, orders placed by customers in New Zealand will now not be delivered until the 8th January 2010.

Everyone involved in the production of this definitive celebration of Michael's life are extremely frustrated that issues beyond our control are now delaying delivery of your Opus. As you may know, just weeks before Michael's untimely death, we were planning to work with him to create an Opus on his forthcoming 'This Is It' O2 residency. Following his passing, we were determined instead to create an exceptional tribute befitting the undisputed King of Pop for his millions of fans. To this end, our editorial, design, photographic research, reproduction and printing teams spread across three continents worked day and night to meet rigorous deadlines and produce the ultimate book on Michael Jackson. Having met all our deadlines, and received overwhelming praise for the Opus from customers who have received their copies, the delays to some customers are even more exasperating for us.

We are very aware that this is an upsetting situation for our customers and would like to offer something unique to you as a means of going some way to make up for the delay to your copy being delivered before Christmas. Every New Zealand customer will receive a limited edition art print created by Nate Giorgio (one of Michael’s favourite artists and a significant contributor to the Opus). This unique print has already been commissioned and will not be available for sale, this will be uniquely distributed to you. the limited edition art print of Michael Jackson by Nate is a true one off and collectors piece. These will be posted individually to you in the New Year. In addition Opus Media Group will offer every New Zealand customer the right to a 20% discount off any Opus that we have produced or will produce in the future. Clearly we would have liked that you received your Opus prior to Christmas. That was always our goal. But we hope that you will accept the small gestures of goodwill as some way to making good this current delayed situation.

I didn't get ANY emails besides the same one that you got from Opus a long time ago...I emailed them quite a few times and didn't get a response back, and then got the book last night...So I wouldn't hold my breath...It could come anytime..:)

This is all so disappointing now that we know what is in the Opus book.
I can understand delays in shipping/etc---but NOT some of the other things--wrong dates/no centrefold of the wall of signatures/no information from Opus(until we--the customers DEMAND some information)--and so on.

It seems that we just have to accept the Opus--as is.

Perhaps Opus could issue a --correction page--on the same quality of paper, used in the book, and send that out. Just something "official" from them---recognizing the mistakes.

Also I think, they will forget the promise for the limited edition art print of Michael Jackson by Nate very quickly...like so many before.

The two gloves...the Reality Card ...

Okay okay, those gloves are cheap, but they offered them and so I think we have to get them...
Same with the Reality Card...

You can´t change an offer like this...it´s not legal...

I agree this new print is not enough. I didn't know about centrefold not been in book, ad that to the glove issue and having to print out the card etc. When we get them we all need to stand up and get them to really make it up to us for their lack of respect to MJ and us with this book that cost so much. We need to get everyone to sign a petition or something online that can be sent to head of Opus and express our feelings. They will have alot of upset fans Christmas morning.

So NZ's Opus are arriving by January 8th....

Wonderful. They are sending this messages on batches, but location. None here yet and no doubt South America is no priority, so I will receive mine by March 2010. Maybe I get the card before... and even one loose glove... This is not because of the wether, don't come kidding with that stuff. A month later??? Because of the wether???? Yeah right...
 
Just went to my e-mail--for the first time today WEDNESDAY December 23rd --7AM.
A e-mail from Opus---Australia deliveries---January 8th.
We have also been offered the Nate Giorgio? print---20% off any further Opus purchases.

yeah I don't even have one :p I have searched all through the book incase it was in between the pages, nothing.

has anybody else not got a glove/gloves??? I just find it really odd :/

But I don´t think this glove is worth a call from Germany to Kraken.

They offered the Opus with two gloves to us, so we should get them without running after them.:no:

Aaaand by the way...when they send us the special print of Michael Jackson by Nate they could also put an Opus Reality Card in the package...:wild::hysterical:

Just to let you know this is for the times offer ppl,i rung today and thay said my order will be with me tom,it was sent out with parcelforce today,just wanted to let you know thay hopefully the orders are now underway xxx
 
Ok, I am sick of waiting, so I will erase the Opus from my mind for a while.
I am leaving the threath and heading to the new restaurant near by, to walk, breath and feel our Summer sun and have a big icecream with lots of cream and whatever sweet stuff they might have :D

This is not the end of the world... it's just our real world.

Shame on Kraken!! I used to liked them so much. And things don't look any better at the News and Happenings section... that FBI and release of documents is... ahhh... you name it :-(
 
It was "In-Transit - STANSTED GB"
And now its "At local FedEx facility - PARIS FR"
Thats in the wrong direction from where i live.
I have estimated delivery: Dec 30.
It was Dec 23.
 
I have just received my OPus and am now worry and stress free. I can board my plane tomorrow with a sense of relief that My Opus will not be left outside to get damaged in the weather or stolen.
 
It really is a shame to not have the two gloves, I mean, it's NOT easy to turn the pages with one hand...They are just way too big...
