Why is it so hard for them to ship the Opus in time??? I really don't understand it!

The same progress on my FedEx tracking page...."Initiated" but

Estimated delivery: 22.Dec.

No "picked up" or "in transit"

It seems that we in Germany don´t get our Opus today....:no:
I hope that they only have forgotten to update the progress...

I know fans who were supposed to get the book today in Finland and to me is was estimated to arrive tomorrow, but now FedEx has updated the tracking site and our books are in Stansted and the estimated delivery has been changed into next week.

Same for fans in The Netherlands, no update on the FedEx page yet. I really hope I get it somewhere during next week. But I'm affraid it will be 2010.

All I know is that I want my Opus noooow!!!:(

Time is running...we only have 80 minutes for a delivery today...

It is beautiful...and WAY too hard to turn the pages with only ONE glove....PCR, I love that song...lol....Keep the Faith, like you said!

To all you fans who ordered the Opus: Please, keep the faith, seriously, I really did not think I'd get it before Christmas...I ordered from TIcketmaster and on the event date it said "Jan 30,2010" and low and behold I got it last night...Don't even look at the tracking info, and don't worry if you didn't get any tracking information or responses back from anyone...I emailed them so many times, and didn't get anything back...So, it could be anytime really!
 
I ordered mine this summer,the estimated delivery was 22 December,but today the estimated delivery is January 5!(from Uk to Italy)
.....sooo not professional....
 
Since the UK is receiving them now, they shouldnt be too far away from The Netherlands. Hopefully I will receive it this week, but I doubt it, with Christmas around the corner.

Cant believe they shipped it so late after advertising everyone who ordered it in time would have it before Christmas. I feel bad for the ones who bought it as gift. Really disappointing.
 
Just got mine about half an hour ago...it's just beautiful. I am really happy :heart: ...this has been the one thing I have been really looking forward too :cry:

I am wondering tho...maybe I missed something..but I am sure I saw some pics that included the white gloves with the book?? :huh: I am a bit confused...
 
Have you guys who are looking at the status all had tracking numbers?

Congrats on getting the book! It's exciting eh?? I've only just shuffled through it; haven't read anything yet...

You should have gotten at least one glove...YOu didn't get any ??
 
Received mine today as well.Have not opened it though as I have been instructed not to as its my Christmas present.It is sat in the hall and it is so tempting to take a peek!
I hope the gloves/glove is included.Can't believe how heavy and big it is!

how you going to turn the page? magic? you should of got 1 glove, not 2 like the pictures
 
Yesterday I saw the Opus on the Dutch television show 'RTL Boulevard'. They had a real copy on their desk and talked about it a few seconds. So I guess that some people in Holland (The Netherlands) already got their Opus. I hope it arrives soon at my place.
 
Now it's after 6 pm and my estimated delivery date disappeared on the tracking page. The other information is not changed...

Update from TicketMaster.co.uk help desk.

****22nd December Update****

We have been informed by Fedex that all Opuses purchased before 6th December will be delivered before Christmas so you can expect to receive your item within the next 48 hours if you have not already done so. Please accept our apologies for the delay in delivery which has been caused by the consignments being held in customs for longer than anticipated and also the severe weather conditions.

I called the 0207 number & they said deliveries could take place on Christmas Eve.
 
I just got home, and my Opus was waiting for me.

I was anxious to get it before I leave for the Holidays. I won't have time to open it, but at least I know it won't be sitting on a snow banks while we are away.

It is HUMONGOUS!!!! It is so heavy, I had trouble getting up the stairs with it.

ETA: I am in Montreal, Canada. I hope everyone will get theirs before Xmas.

Wooo hoo!! Another Canadian got theirs! I got mine last night! Isn't it glorious? I just skimmed through it; haven't read anything yet...Still have no idea where I'm gonna put it...It's bigger than I thought...

My boyfriend is glad I got it cuz he was sick of me complaining that it wasn't here yet...lol
 
Opus didn't ring me back this morning, but glad to hear we'll have them before Christmas in the UK! :) I'm in until midday tomorrow, but after that no-one is home so I'm hoping they'll leave with neighbours if I leave a note on the door! :)
