I got mine in August! I couldnt really afford it.. but it seems like MJ was so involved in this beautiful book and its really the ultimate tribute to his life. I think Everyone should get it. especially before October, because the price will double! RIPKOP!

I orderd mine a couple weeks ago and can't stop reading about it and thinking about it getting here!

And you are so right it is FREAKING huge - apparently it is 400 pages and weights 38lbs!!

Only 10 weeks till delivery dates - but who's counting?

Well, that's certainly an opinion but I believe it's incorrect. What do you base that on?

I've both seen and heard some of what is going into the Opus from Mr. Wald and like all the other Opus books this one will be of equally great quality. Opus is known for it's extravagant books. That's what they do.

Michael was actively participating in the creation of this book until he died. How is that exploitation?

Because it's a £35 book, well-overpriced, and well-timed to exploit the grief and longing for some kind of closure for all you sincere and wonderful and loyal fans of MJ.

Do you think Michael would really have wanted to take nearly £100 off each and every one of his loyal fans who had stuck with him through thick & thin?

Well do you?

It's a deeply cynical exercise in marketing.

The actual price for an 'OPUS' is around $500 - $20,000 US. So where is the rip off. Try buying a Prince Opus? Michael was actively participating in this book and besides it is the first of its kind with the interactive/digital stuff. Michael wanted it to be accessable to all his fans.
Each to his own. But when it goes on Ebay for $20000 in months to come then people may want to buy it.

These are the original so order yours now or regret later when the price goes up.As Michael fans we should have the original.

Yes, clever me ordered it with the intent of hiding it from my parents. I guess I didn't pay attention to the weight and dimensions of the thing! Does anyone know if it's a limited edition or will it always be available to buy?

£125.50 so about $251 if you live in Australia or $193 in the US, €149.50, Canada $246 this includes shipping price after the 30th it will be $358 for the US, £234.50 or about $468 Australian.

Sorry, I´ve just saw that there exists a thread like that. I´ve already pre-ordered my Opus on the 23th of August. Can´t wait for December.

I'm still thinking of what to do. I can afford it but it's so expensive. But then again will this book ever go cheaper?! I saw the Prince opus is limited to 950 copies. If MJ's is limited too then the price is only raising instead of dropping :(

What shall I do..humz.. I think I decide tomorrow
