Thank you so much 2600becs! The email to Dipesh works and I finally got a response from Opus. Hopefully things can get sorted now!
 
I was just about to email them again asking where is my book (although I never got a reply anyway), when I saw a tracking number in my email box. So the book should arrive here tomorrow but I won't be able to collect it as I will be at work. I wonder when I am going to see it.

I wonder if you rang FEDX would they deliver it to your work place. It's very heavy though to carry home.

Yeah, I will see what happens tomorrow, maybe they will leave it with my neighbour next door. If not, I will have to collect it myself or ask for redelivery later.
 
That Dipesh email is worth it! I'm getting a pair of gloves and the card sent out tomorrow! :D
 
Who is this Dipesh and where was he hiding all this time? He could have solved all our problems long ago.

I will email him about a card after I receive the book. And if I don't receive the book by Monday, I will email him anyway.

Wow he's fast. I already got a reply from him. I mailed like an hour ago. He did ask where I got his email from. He's probably starting to notice that he gets a lot of direct emails hahahha.

But he's very helpfull!!
 
lol no problem guys, though i do feel a little sorry for dipesh now. oh well, it is his job :p i practically received my gloves and card the next day, so a big thanks to dipesh :D
 
I'm still waiting for mine. In December I found out Opus never processed my pre-order and had no record of it. Then I made a new order, and waited and waited. Then in late January I was told I should receive it before 12 Feb. I never received it, than I complained last week, and was told I should receive it no later than 11 March, and I still didn't receive it. I made another complaint, and I was told it's out of Opus's control and it has to do with FedEx. I asked Opus for a FedEx tracking number or details to contact them, and they didn't give me them.

What the...this is actually the worst customer service ever.
 
Thanks to Dipesh I finally got my replacement for my damaged Opus today. The thing is...the replacement has a big black mark on the clamshell cover *sighs*
Isn't there such a thing as quality control? ahhhh.... I feel like I should stop complaining though. It is tiresome.
 
i got my card and also a PAIR of gloves .lol i paid for them so i got em!!!!! we had to call, they were very helpful and told us to email them our address so anyone looking for another email address to try could use this : dipesh@krakengroup.com

what is the glove and card for , and how can i get them?
 
So you didn't get charged for your first order? Did you buy it through Ticket Master? If so, you would have been charged straight away.

It upsets me just to think about it. He was so excited about this project, he discussed it with them, he really loved their books. He wanted to do this for the fans to enjoy. I think he would be horrified if he saw what's been happenning.

well the opus was meant to come with a pair of gloves (as all the opus books do) but everyone seemed to only get one glove. Also a part of the michael jackson opus was to have special interactive online content, which is what the card is for. if you call opus, or email dipesh@krakengroup.com you can request them. :)
 
Well, I emailed that Dipesch guy too so hopefully I will hear from him. It may seem petty, but I want my gloves and my card! The card is about 99.9% of the reason I actually bought the Opus. :fingerscrossed:
 
YES!!!!!!!!!! Everyone listen up! Dipesh is a legend! I just got a PAIR of white gloves and an Opus Reality Card in the mail!! The card is a still from the BAD tour! YAY!

I know! If it weren't for the messageboards and the fans I wouldn't even know how to get one. Opus hasn't even even put me on their mailing list so I never got the code! Also they replace a damaged Opus with another damaged Opus....I don't know! I can only laugh at the situation now. Actually before I only used to lurk on these boards but almost every post I've ever made here is to moan about this company!
 
I received my OPUS today (finally!) but of course just one glove and no card with it. Dipesh hasn't replied to my email where I asked about my card and additional glove, but I received an email from customer service stating:

They say they included one glove, well I thought we were supposed to get two. Now they behave as if they never promised two gloves and the card.

I just got an email stating that my book is already here in Brazil for two weeks and that my data were reported in a confused way. lol! :doh: :wild:(Unbelievable!!!) and soon they will send me a tracking number from Fedex.

I hope that next week I am already in my book. :D

Had to call them twice and then today my OPUS finally arrived.
Dipesh is really great so a big thanks to him :)
