I got tired of waiting, so I just phoned Opus London. Finally I have some "idea" about my delivery. They asked me to share the info with friends from Latin America, so México, Brazil and any other neighbours, please come here:

They are sending a shipment of books to Los Angeles and those should arrive next week. Once in LA, the books will be distributed in Latin America, so this representative thinks we should start receiving our tracking codes early next week and the books during the week.

Hopefully that will happen!!!

Now... here's the funny thing: according to him, for them, delivering books to Latin America was as difficult "as sending books the the Middle East"... I don't mean no wrong, but... how should I understand that?

If they have "issues" about South America and the Middle East deliveries... couldn't they just let us know in advance?

Delieveries... always a mess!!! BUT... Amazon has no single problem delivering my books from London last week. How strange.

after my excitement over speaking to opus.... no code and still waiting ... :(
 
I got my Opus on Dec 28th. I had spoken to Opus b4 Christmas and told them I wanted second Glove that it was advertised 1st with it.

They started saying "we decided as a tribute....." I said I paid for two and want two. Arrived home today and here was second glove for book in post.

Now I'll get on about Reality Card. :)

Finally!!! It has been delivered yesterday. (In the Netherlands)
It's big, heavy and beautiful!
Didn't had much time to spent with it, but at a first glance; it's great! Worth the money and the wait.
Tonight I have some time to check for quality issues, fingers crost that there aren't any..
Everyone; have fun with your Opuses!

Great news, enjoy it. Some lovely stories in it, my fav part is the paintings.:)

But Guess what??? My Opus has arrived!!! :D It’s at my parents house I’m at home I called them early in the morning and told them I’m coming to visit you like that was the reason 8:00 AM my mother started to laugh she said aahh you checked FedEx right I was like what I don’t know has it arrived? Ha ha ha … :) I have to go and pick it up later … but I’m soooo angry she said it looks like its a bit damaged :doh: hope the Book is OK …

What about the Reality Card? Did anyone order it or what should we do? I haven’t received an email what happens now?? On their website it says “Each owner of the Opus will receive an online membership card, giving you access to the full Michael Jackson Opus Reality experience.” How do we get it ??? PLEASE HELP! Its almost like they dont care I hate to WAIT WAIT AND WAIT...
 
I'm gonna try and start reading it next week or the week after :D Right now its causing my wardrobe cupboard to bow...a lot :ninja:
 
Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

This is my first post since I registered in this amazing forum.

First of all I want to congratulate everyone who already received their Opuses! Enjoy your book and remember that this one is special gift from Michael for his fans all over the world.
Since Michael passing I really can't speak about my feelings - I don't know why but it feels like I lose my childhood because I grow up with his music and his personality. And I still can't do this...

But anyway... this one I have to share with you because only you - everyone here in this forum, will understand how I feel in this moment.

:D Today I finally receive my Opus.:clapping: After 4-5 months of waiting finally my Opus is in my hands! The delivery guy woke me up knocking on my door and just imagine how I look early in the morning...:blush:

The moment when I opened the box I will never forget! I can't find words to describe how beautiful and amazing is this piece of art. This is my treasure... I spend 3 hours going tru the pages and I can tell you that the pictures are unbelievable. It definitely worth the waiting.
I cried so much...

My whole life I wanted to be on his concert but I never have the real opportunity to actually make this happen. And now after 3 days my wish would have come true ............:cry: but not.
I am so sad......

I want to thank you for that you are such fans as everyone wants to have. Michael deserve it. I love you even if I don't know you!

they were really good actually and said it was ready and should recieve it hopefully by Monday and said i would recieve a tracking code either yesterday or today ( as of yet nothing ) but they were really nice and said if i dont have one by end of today to phone back and ask for this guy directly

im still optimistic :)

Awwwww :heart: hello.. welcome to the forum and hope to see you around more :) I hope you don't feel too bad on your concert day, I was supposed to see him for the first time July 22nd and August 16th (I think) so I know how it feels :(.

The Art Lover part is my favourite too.. I wish they'd put a few sketches/paintings by Michael other than the stop the war one. But oh well!

About the reality cards, have no idea what we are meant to do? They could have put a note in to tell us.

I can't believe some of you still haven't got your opus. I hope you get them soon.
 
Has anyone had an opus that's damaged? I got mine out and realised there's a scratch on the leather on the back that's a couple of inches long. I haven't done it as it's literally the first time I've taken it out of the red box thingy. Kinda pissed off...

first of all -> I GOT MINE TODAY, YAY, WOOT and YAY again!!!! woohoow...and indeed Shamone! :)

but when i opened the box i thought i was about to start crying... there's a dent (a piece of leather seems to be scratched out) in the cover of my book... it's about 1,5 mm big and 0,5 mm deep... this may sound tiny to anyone else but being the graphic designer/printer that i am... i was very disapointed... oh and there was also a small black smudge on the red box that holds the book... and to finish of the complaining my glove has an ugly red stripe on it...

once i opened te book though i started smilin... the pages i glanced at looked stunning and the typography is fine so i almost had to wipe off that big grin of my face and that were only the first twenty pages so all by all it's received with mixed emotions overhere...

Someone else had problems wih some pages think it was they were stuck together - Ring/e-mail opus and explain the situation they have been pretty good so far imo

My Opus arrived at 6 pm too. I´m so happy now. :wild:
But my Opus is damaged too. The red box is a little damaged. And some pages are stucking together (don´t know how to describe) I think the ink wasn´t dry...and when I try to seperate the pages, they got damaged. Other pages have little damages from the cut...when they cut the pages after the print in the right size....(oh my english isn´t very well...)

I´m a graphic designer too and this is one of my worst nighmares that can happen...:bugeyed

But I really have to say THE OPUS IS SO HUGE...and I´m glad that I have it before the weekend...so I will look the whole weekend through the Opus and enjoy it...:D

I think I will write Opus tomorrow or better on Monday (again) with a list about the damages, the second glove and the reality card. But since now I have written them 5 E-mails (asking about the Glove and Reality Card) without any response from them...:no:
 
My Opus (Germany) has arrived with GLS not FedEx...:mello:

First it started with FedEx and then it has made a change over in Kelsterbach/Germany/FedEx to GLS.
I think my village is to small for FedEx.....:scratch:
 
They emailed me and said 8th Jan, today in 8th of Jan in NZ...no tracking number...fedex know nothing. Worst cust service ever really.
