Official Charts Thread For ''Michael''

I really don't understand how a Michael Jackson CD, marred in controversy or not, can sell so low in the USA. I know it wasn't MJ's biggest market in his later years, but it is still craziness to me! How exactly did this happen?!?!
 
"hollywood tonight debuts on rnb/hip hop billboard chart"-this is very good news:) and probably the americans are more interested in the new artists...Michael's succes is rather slow but steady;-)and a lot of people enjoyed the new album and loves MJ very much!
 
Worldwide it has sold more than 2 million I have heard.

Of course, it's probably some hater or MICHAEL album boycotter! Hollywood Tonight will definitively climb up in following weeks!

That's right, HT is the most played 'commercial pop' song in UK clubs. Let's hope that success converts to sales...

HT is only #152 in the UK singles chart this week. If this is the peak then it must be the least successfull MJ single by far!

Digital download is available for only one week, on April, 26. cd single will be released in UK. It will enter top 40 I hope so. Keep requesting the song on the radio, keep voting for Hollywood Tonight and support cd single!
 
I hope it will shoot up the charts in the UK. With the CD single out I hope it will rise soon, but it hasn't been played much on the radio and TV lately, fingers crossed it does! :)
 
UK fans - Please buy Hollywood Tonight CD Single, it's out on Tuesday. Lets get Hollywood Tonight in the top #10. Most of the general public/teenagers of today listen to all of the top #10 and then buy the songs that they like.

This is not like when Hold My Hand was released because that was a ballad that didn't gain much interest but Hollywood Tonight is a dance track that non-fans will love!

So lets do it for Michael, if Hollywood Tonight debuts in the top #10 I'm sure that it will hit #1 the next week or the week after.

I agree with you! HT has great potential to become big hit.. UK fans please buy cd single, download the single from itunes and request the song on the radio..

Where are all the links to radio stations for requesting the song? That thread should be open again, we must request it like we did with HMH..

Hollywood Tonight will not be released in US and Canada, only radio airplay.. Behind the Mask will be released in US, Canada and Japan as the second single from MICHAEL. Probably after music video premieres this month.
 
Any one have the info of HT on UK Official Chart this week?
It's not at top 100, but where is it? Who knows?
 
guys lets get the word out on twitter tweet all fans, a guy did this for the new beyonce single tweeting about it like crazy and her single went from 88 to num 6 on itunes the day it was released i know we can do it for the uk
