I agree... a lil bit, but what about the majority of comments? Most of them have been positive(from what I've seen), and even if MJ is gettin a lil more attention, the song probably would still be a hit without Mike. Lol, eff the others.

So I wonder if it was done on purpose or no. It seems a great way of getting feedback on a song. One days worth would really just tempt and tease us so we'd want to beg the radio stations to play it once they are allowed and it would shoot up to number one right?

I'd feel bad if it wasn't meant to happen and he really is upset about it though.

The "leak" is intentional, surely. The power of the net and youtube make this kinda thing possible and generates worldwide hype, as this new track has shown, its all marketing strategy aint it. Cant help thinking that if Akon has something to be pissed off about, its that we're all loving MJs input more than his. Cause either way, its got a whole bunch of people talking about Akon who normally dont dig him, myself included.

What concerns me more now is that some legal bullshit would hinder the potential release of this song,either as a single or an album track. It would be like a cruel joke played on us all!

It would be on Akon's upcoming release, tentatively called 'Acquitted'.

My :2cents: says that it was leaked intentionally, just as the Akon-vocal only version was a couple of months ago.

My :2cents: says that it was a marketing ploy to hype da hell out of it. Well, IT WORKED. Like a charm.

My :2cents: says that they wouldn't have leaked the version with MJ in it unless they are close to getting da deal done and if there are still some legal hurdles..

My :2cents: says that it was done to put pressure on the ones who is holding up da works here to make it happen.

Just my 2 cents.

It would me more than tragic, it would be catastrophic...I don't even want to think about it.

I hope Akon's just frontin' and the leak was intentional, cuz if not, as Mello implied Mike would be pissed...

:sigh: I dunno, the leak just happened yesterday, so maybe we should wait and see how this all plays out! We're all very happy for both guys, and this song NEEDS to be released as a single, leak or not.

I'm also wondering whether mike and Akon have a little plan, they seem to be really close. Mike seems to be closer to Akon than Will I AM. I wonder if they have some cunning plan going on with mikes new album. I think this was all done on purpose mike and Akon are going to get something out of this.

People are going to hear and start getting interested in mike and will be nosey to hear mikes new music. This will also boost akons sales and bring in the money.

I think this is a very good business deal by the two of them, and i think the leak was done on purpose

Now that the song is "out" they have to make a single as soon as possible, so people dont get tired of this..?`But the big masses havent heard this, mj fans + 100 000 youtube, people will continue to get this song on youtube, it will get deleted but i think they need to relese it soon. Sonner than you think ;)

Yeah I agree with what some of you have said, The single will make them money so it would be stupid not to release it over a 24hrs leak. yes stuff spreads fast on the internet but loads of people will not have heard this single before its official release so not releasing it seems dumb to me. It an ok song that will probably do good in the charts. It will bring both MJ and Akon fans together and remind people of MJs musical career even if the dont like the song they can appreciate the nice vocals on the song (or atleast the vocals from MJ anyway)

How can Akon be Jealous he must of known that working with mike, the record would sell, and people who haven't heard him for ages would be interested. Afterall he has been in the studio with mike for ages. They must talk to each other aswell as work. Him being jealous is just stupid
