I don´t know what to say, I am speechless. Michael Jackson is such a sweet and nice person, he is a blessing for all of us. I also thank him for everything he does, he loves his fans so much and I really don´t know how to thank him for this wonderful message and for all the other things he has done for his fans through all the years. All the wonderful surprises and all the joy and laughter he brought to the fans. I will always appreciate all the wonderful moments with Michael Jackson, the brightest star and the nicest and greatest person on earth. God bless him. I also love him from the bottom of my heart and I thank him for everything - really everything. He ´s truly heaven-sent.

I know there have been times when fans have shared a message and they have got some unkind responses back but there are always some who appreciate being given the messages. Thanks, Talitha & Moonstreet.

Right. I agree with that statement. I do not know this fan that knows MJ, but I will have to agree with people who have doubt about it. It might be legit, but I am not sure. If MJ wanted to send a statement to his fans, he can do so through the AP. That way, it would have a link and it is directly to his fans. Not every MJ fan goes on fan boards, so they would not know if he issued a statement to them or not.

I don't think Michael Jackson, or any of his employees for that matter, should be posting or getting active in any Fan forums. To me this idea often falls under the "He owes us loyal fans something" when the truth of the matter is we are here because we chose to be, so if we spend all our time on here waiting for new material or being entertained by gossip (most of it fan created) it is all our choice.

Once again. You have hit the nail on this comment. I remembered when Karen Faye aka Turkle was a member of MJNO, KOP, MJJF and many other fan boards. This woman was telling fans personal things about MJ that I felt was 1. none of her business 2. none of the fans's business 3. and was very unprofessional. It caused a lot of problems and a lot of confusion. Like Zith stated very well that fans come on here because they choose to come on here not because it is a must. I think if MJ wanted to send a statement to his fans, he should give it to the AP because he doesn't have an official fan website. This is one of the reasons why I believe MJ should get an official website so that if he wants to release a statement, he can do that on there, fans can post it on here and a link is provided. That way, it would be legit. BTW, MJ should never feel, EVER, that he owes his fans ANYTHING. He has done too much for his fans. Way too much. I think that MJ should do his music, get things together and then chat with the fans.

No offense to the fan, but I am going to take the statement with a grain of salt. The fan means well, but I learn a hard lesson about things that happens in the fan commmunity, good and bad. Once again, no offense to the fan.

honestly, if y'all don't want to believe it, then don't. don't come here and post things bitching about how lax the message was, how little info he gave, this or that.

y'all complain when u don't see him. then u see him and complain about what he's wearing. whine about him going here and there and not pickingup awards then u complain when he DOES show up somewhere and u feel it isn't as important as the apprearances he missed.

I agree especially when you mentioned that MJ should never feel that he owes his fans ANYTHING. I think that's why he bends over backwards to get their approval. I think he's great for acknowleging and appreciating his fans because fans are a part of what makes an artist successful and many celebrities sometimes forget about their fans. However, I just hope he doesn't wrap his choice in music and other areas of his life around the demands of fans. While he does have alot of good people in his fanbase, there are good number of other people in his fanbase that are obcsessive, unbalanced and has an arrogant air of entitlement for expectations that they feel he should fulfill for them. You have fans who treat Michael or refer to him as if he's their personal trained monkey--ready to perform, ready to put out an album, ready to appear here, there and everywhere and then get an attitude when he doesn't fall in line with their expectations--even goes so far to compare him with other artists who hasn't even walked a mile in Michael's shoes regarding his circumstances over the years.

Sometimes I wonder as Michael takes time to send messages of love and appreciations to his fans, does he really know how some of his fans act and refer to him?
 
Could it be that he's just showing appreciation to those that do frequent the boards...or just acknowledging that he knows they exist? I dunno, just a thought.

Yea Rasta you and I have the same vibe of Michael being up to something.........mmmmmmmmmm....... Michael can be a man of many surprises. :yes: I shall be waiting patiently for his return.

I think she copied it from KOP, like she said, but either way, whoever wrote this has the right to say what he/she said. She knows what you people do, lol. Always suspicious and trying to dismiss something.

Oh COME ON! Everything is not going to be how YOU want it to be! "Michael should do this, Michael SHOULD do that." It just happened that this is the way he sent the message.

"Quintessential":

1. the pure and concentrated essence of a substance.
2. the most perfect embodiment of something.

Translation, "You are the most perfect embodiment and pure concentrated essence of what I do"....fans.

Wow, I feel special.
