I think those who will deny it's him will be more than open to any evidence than might be believed...A video is pretty concrete evidence, if they show Michael's face then there really isn't any way to say it's not him....Yeah I guess there will always be some who never will, but I think that in time they would probably realize it is him..At least I hope so... :)

I wish for that too, but it's simply not the case. As said before, read the responses already given and you'll know exactly what to expect.

Don't believe in everything you read and see.
But who knoews.. I hope it's true.
But it still dosen't sound like Michael to me.. the voice in Monster is weak.. Michael's voice was alive .

First, we don't know if such footage exists.

Second, unless the uncut original version of the footage is used. Otherwise, how is it proof that it's actually Michael in the song? By now, we all know for a fact that Monster is heavily processed. It'd be a miracle if they have footage of Michael singing the whole song full out. If that's the case, why are all these pitching up, pitching down, remixing, layering, cutting and pasting necessary to piece the song together?

Seriously, it's not like people don't want to believe what they see. But, what we see are not what things truly are.

Say, the film This Is It, they did have footage of Michael "singing" Earth Song and Thriller. But, we all know the vocals are not live recording from the rehearsals, but from earlier pre-recorded vocals.

We all should know how manipulating and misleading film editing can be, right? And I'm not being cynical here.

50 cent is like a cheap price tag.

Besides even IF a proper video exists (not in any way weird or edited/manipulated), that would prove that it is MJ singing in Monster, ok. BUT still my opinion would be that the vocals doesn't sound like Michael's at all, cause THEY DON'T

ONLY THEN I would go to the theories others in this forum have served us like, "his voice changed" or "he was ill" or processed vocals, Melodyne or pvc pipes, amateur equipment etc etc. Who am I kidding, I don't expect such footage to exist, unless they are "preparing" something on their own

Monster would do better on the radio than Hollywood tonight even though some fans may like hollywood tonight because of 2 reasons.. cameos do help radio play it today market, especially from someone like 50 cent who has not been heard for a while.. hip hop fans would tune in.. AND sorry to say but if us die hard fans (some anyways) skip through tyrells talking portion, theres not going to be many general public listeners that will be willing to sit there and be "preached" to instead of sang to in a SONG.. tyrell honestly lowers the public potential of the song.. There are songs that have that type speaking portion.. some may not know about it cuz they don't sell.. or get radio play.. People want a great song to listen to daily!! and it does not hurt to have a song that they can dance to in the clubs instead of standing there confused thinking "What is this guy saying... wheres the music?? Is that the DJ or.. IDK ok there goes the music again lets continue like nothing wierd just happened"

HOnestly you look at people in a club, 80% cannot dance which will bring insecure feelings.. many (guys especially) try so hard to find a groove to hold through the entire night (no matter wut song lol) just so they wont look dumb.. Now all of a sudden the music basically stops for a talking session.. OMG these guys would be standing there like "OMG wuts happening this chick is going to see how crapy of a dancer I am.. Do I dance? do I just kiss her to distract her from dancing til the music comes back on? do I say I'll be back and just stand in the bathroom? Oh maybe tie my shoes?? sh!* I'm panicing. somebody help.. oh no! shes looking at me funny, what does that smile mean?? she hates me doesnt she?.."

May sound far fetch but I promise hollwood tonight would cause this to many poor men and women across the land HAHA// and for that reason alone it will lower its requests which means less radio plany

It sucks hard to have an official music video with crappy audio quality.

If they show Michael's face singing the song, regardless of what music/sound they use, then it would go a long way IMO...I don't think it will convince everyone..but proof is proof..

IF Monster is released as next single (has that been confirmed?) then I'm sure Sony will edit the talking out of the single version. It would be stupid to keep it in. Like you said, nobody wants to hear it and it won't help sell the song. Anyway, at over 5minutes, the song is too long for radio, so that's another good reason why a single edit should be produced.

You would think, but no. There is NO satisfactory proof for these doubters. The sooner you accept this, the happier you'll be.

I'm not picking on you or anyone. But, how is it proof of Michael's voice on the actual record?

Again, in the film This Is It, they show Michael's face singing Earth Song and Thriller. But, the vocals are from earlier recording.

I guess nobody doubts that demo of Monster exists. Peple have doubt on the vocals on the finished version now released on MICHAEL. Many people doubt that the producers use Michael's rough demos, piece them together and have some other vocals to fill the gaps.

Unless the footage they show is original uncut version with Michael singing every line; otherwise, how is it proof?

Remember the video of Freedom by George Michael. They have all the supermodels "singing" the song in the video. Film editing can work wonder and can truly "make - believe"...

Well, I think if people visually see Michael in the Cascio's studio, singing a song, then it would prove at least he is was at least in the Cascio's studio...and that's a start for some..As far as the vocals, well, I will be honest, they don't sound like Michael to me, but if they can put pieces of proof together to show it's in fact Michael then perhaps things will get sorted out in time? I'm just trying to look at all angles of this situation, I don't want to be skeptical of everything, even though I can understand completely why people are skeptical.

this.....this is exactly it....As you've said, no one disputes that he's recorded his vocals in the Cascio's studio...The question is, how MUCH of his vocals have been recorded? If he only sang a line here or there, or sang gibberish just to get a feel for the song (which we've heard numerous times on demos ex: WBSS on the TII soundtrack) then it seems the majority of the vocals of the Cascio songs have been filled in with someone else...They really should have left these songs OFF the album...regardless of if they're him or not...

Well he did take part in both song and video of "Whatzupwitu" of Eddie Murphy. No disrespect to Eddie Murphy but that's as lame as it gets. (MTV actually permanently retired that song and won't play it).

If Michael was kind enough to record a song and appear in a lame video with his friend Eddie Murphy to return the favor of him appearing in Remember the time, he could have recorded silly lyrical songs of his friend's Cascios. There's no rule that determines what Michael would or wouldn't do.

No, of course it wouldn't. Nothing would. They are convinced it's not him, and SOME of them have made it their mission to try to ruin the success of the album by posting 1 star reviews on everything and saying it's fake. Not just certain songs, but the whole thing. Showing footage of him singing Monster, they would say that it's too choppy to really tell or it's an impersonator in the video or whatever they come up with. But they will still find a way to deny it. Just watch and see.
But as someone else said, the fans who believe it's him are the happy ones, now hearing some beautiful music that Michael did. The ones who don't believe it are sulking, stewing, posting on the forum about how it's fake, and they will never buy it. They think Sony not getting their $8-$10 dollars will hurt them. LOLOL!

What the fans who are trying to sabotage the album don't realize is when they talk about it not being him, and there is all this controversy, people will WANT to hear just to find out what's going on. It will actually make it more popular, IMO. And please notice that I did not say ALL fans or all fans who don't think it's Michael. I'm just talking about the ones who are deliberately trying to ruin it, and they know who they are. If you're not one, then it's not about you.

I agree! I think it is the best produced song on the album. It has many creative things going on within it to make it fun, and the song holds my interest throughout. I think now that it is the best choice for the next single because it would have broader appeal.

I also really love the melody of the chorus and think the "too bad" part is lovely to listen to; I look forward to that part each time I listen to the song.

EDIT: Actually, I have to correct myself. I just went to listen to Monster again, and it has an interesting structure to it. That "Too bad" part is apparently not the chorus, but a part leading up to the chorus (is that called a "b" verse/part?), and there is even a bridge that comes in later on. So lots goin' on in this song to make it full and interesting.

Just the fact that we argue about the vocals tells me something is wrong.

And by the way, I never said that the vocals are fake, just that it just doesn't sound like Michael Jackson. For all I care, it could just be Huey Lewis and the News singing Monster.

Monster is awesome, I had it blasting in my car this morning and will do well as a single for sure. Its already started to chart in some charts as well showing that people are loving the song. It'd be a massive hit for sure.

we love michael. we accept the album, but we have doubt. we just want to have civilized discussions and healthy debates.

since we have doubt, we are now considered sad and ungrateful people.

i also pre-ordered the album from amazon and am now patiently waiting for my copy to come. i went to bestbuy last night (walked 15 minutes in below freezing temperature) to check out the display (promotion was closed to none)....oh well...

Yup, no matter how much we re-iterate our stance about our doubts, there are a lot that just want to generalize us. I have no desire whatsoever to boycott Sony or downplay this album. The album is great; I just have doubts about the 3 Cascio songs, cuz to me, they stick out like sore thumbs on the album.

I really hope we can see some solid proof in this video...I am BEGGING to be proved wrong....
