It truly disgusts me that Mr. Simmons would even be given a chance to take part in an event honoring Michael, let alone the sheer fact that he accepted the offer. The man has no idea what really happened during those years, and with his so called 'grand intelligence,' if he had, he certainly would have never said such sick and untruthful remarks. Someone will need to put their foot in their mouth some day when the truth is told.

It has to be a mistake, because they are still listed on official facebook page. Both will.i.am and The Black Eyed Peas.

Rumor since yesterday is they dropped off...I have been trying to confirm...but so far nothing.

I saw a report a couple of days ago saying the concert would be shown in 40 cinemas across the UK in 3D.

I just checked the Vue website and it's no longer listed in the 'Coming Soon' section. It's also not listed as a film being shown on 8th October, so it looks as though they're not showing it anymore (previously 4 of their cinemas were showing it). Can't say I'm surprised if they've dropped it because when I checked a few days ago they had only sold two tickets!

However, if you live in Liverpool you could be in luck. The Odeon still has it scheduled there.

However, that leaves 39 other cinemas supposed to be showing it and I have no idea which ones. Does anybody have a list?


BTW Check the new Preview with Beyonce singing "I Wanna Be Where You Are" on the Odeon website!

Also, I hope the BEP haven't dropped off, it would be a major loss for the concert. Has anybody Tweeted Will.i.am to find out if he'll confirm anything?

P.s I bet there probably won't be many wide angle audience shots in the video stream - there are too many empty seats it would look ridiculous!!

They definitely haven't sold all tickets. Whether they've sold enough or not depends on your point of view. The fact this hasn't been cancelled means they've sold enough from GLE's point of view, but the stadium (the largest stadium in Europe) will be very far from full IMO. That's why I said in my previous post that there probably won't be many wide angle shots IMO. If there are audience shots they will be quite zoomed in to avoid showing empty areas. The fan photos will show us the true story about how many tickets were sold.

I doubt they will sell many now because there are only a few days left, plus people can easily pay to watch the live stream on Facebook or go to a cinema if one near them is showing it.



EDIT: Maybe it has been cancelled after all - see next post!

That statement from Odeon is rather confusing to me. Does it mean the Wales event is cancelled, or that the Odeon showing(s) have been cancelled?

Does anybody have some new information about The Black Eyed Peas performance? Why they have been removed from the official website?

At first I thought that it was a mistake, but it has been the whole day like that? Did they cancel?
 
Some interesting comments from the face book page, looks like this evening...lots of people whose seats have been moved. Not an 'upgrade' by name ...just 'not using the upper tier'? (which amounts to the same thing)

But it seems people are seeing it an an upgrade, esp. if they paid full price for mid tier themselves eg from Ticketmaster and not the tribute site. Sounds like yet another GLE FAIL! (The quotes below are not all from different people)
I see 10,500 people now 'like' the page, and the latest blurb talks about an audience of 50K...Hmmmm.

Someone suggested that the rumour about the BEPs pulling out is to distract people from complaining about the 'upgrades'...That seems a touch Machiavellian even for GLE!

FB quote 2: they need to make sure everyone has paid the same for each section, if not i'm taking this further

FB quote 3: im with you on that xxx, i orignally had the upper tier, then they price slashed, i chose to upgrade instead of money back..... if i had known i would of received a FREE upgrade i would of never paid for it!!

FB quote 4: i agree to ive paid £280 for 2 tickets for middle tier now ive seen people gettin upgraded to there for free and also there selling same row for £95
