I was beyond disgusted by this and I honestly hope the Estate is telling the truth.... I'm so done with a lot of their moves, this would be the last straw :trish:

I've already said my opinion on another thread, but this is complete bullcrap....why would they do this??? Just slapping biebers voice on their because he's popular....and I know for a fact if they release this and the version with only michael....the one with michael will not be as popular, and that pisses me right off. I hope it isn't official...

Agreed. I think his whole "Michael Jackson is my idol" gimmick is for attention. I don't think he's the die-hard fan he makes himself out to be...

Funny how fans of MJ think they have a say what estate does it has to live on long after we're all gone and how do you get younger listeners. Elvis fans have no say! beatles fans no says! Mj fans say done boycott everything if they can't have their way. I agree MJ version should be released first by this could be a club version. Beibers voice is no where near MJ but this release was not final version it's been said. Time to support his legacy getting bigger and to a wider audience.

Difference is that the Elvis Presley estate seems to actually have respect for Elvis as an artist. The Michael Jackson estate don't seem to be showing that right now

But why Bieber? Why? Couldn't they find a more respected current artist? Not the one who is not taken seriously by anyone except 13-14 year old girls? Why to degrade MJ on that teen bopper level? Sorry, but such a move is nothing but desperate.

No, the difference is Elvis Presley's or The Beatles Estate wouldn't do this...

I mean seriously, Michael Jackson's legacy will live on its own... i was helping work at my local skate station last night (a place where young kids usually age 11-14) hang out.. And "You Rock My World" came on, this young kid probably 12 or 13 got big eyed and was like "OH YEAH THEIR PLAYING MJ, I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON!" and began to dance.. a few songs later Bieber's song "baby" came on.. and groups of young kids actually began to laugh and boo and requested to change the song... So.....

It's like forcing a duet with The Beatles and One Direction. In Beiber's would look good in his résumé but not in Michael's. He hasn't been relevant in music history for 50 years just for nothing, genuine talent, hard work, dedication and innovation in fact.

Things JB doesn't have, he bacame famous at 15, didn't he? When Michael was that age, he was considered already a prodigy.

Plus, his teeny bopper fans RUIN everything, all the time. They put J.B on a pedestal, they claim the most ridiculous, emetic things and will slander whatever LEGENDS come their way, saying they "copied" him and that sort of nonsensical sh*t. I don't know how many of you go to tumblr, I know I'm prob "too old" to hang there but I like it, anyway, I read yesterday that J.B fans did NOT believe this was a M.J song and they kept calling Michael names, as usual... I mean, seriously? that only proves what a stupid move this would be if it was an official release... WHO CARES about reaching younger audiences? I wouldn't want to reach an audience full of brainless kids who can't give credit to an artists when it's due, especially an artist like Michael who has been a huge influence to many generations... why can't the Estate release Michael's (wonderful) solo version? WHY throw his name and legacy under the bus pairing him with an act even today's artists despise? WHY? WHY? is the damn question here... this is honestly one of the biggest fears I had... I didn't listen to it and I don't want to but it's a damn nightmare. And no I'm not overreacting, I'd like to see how Elvis fans would react if this was their idol or The Beatles fandom... I bet they wouldn't say we've gone mad by demanding a BIT of respect to Michael's legacy here

Authorized or not, it was released and now who knows how many people have it.... I just don't think it could get worse than this. I'm very upset and I won't give more opinions on this matter for now.... this "duet" might be "unofficial" but I'm officially D.O.N.E

I'm uploading my full edited video soon. I hope Estate or Mjonline Team don't remove from youtube... I want it to be best and show to people how Michael did sing that... I did worked on it almost 6 hours... Please tell them to not remove it.
