See, that's the thing. The more you do it, the more it it becomes just part of who you are lol. It will no longer surprise you after awhile. Soon it will be your near constant state of being, like it is mine. For example, a little bit ago I was watching just a few songs from the Victory Tour. I love the Victory Tour, but have never gotten through it completely. IT has also never had the effect on me that Bad does (though it has en effect, trust me). Anyway, I was really enjoying it. Singing, smiling, living my life. And then Michael, bless him...sweet Michael did ONE crotch grab/hip thrust and I LOST MY EVER LOVING MIND. I felt a jolt through my entire body, I sat up immediately, and I screamed and yelped lol. After that I couldn't calm down. I only survived one more song after that before I had to turn it off completely.

One crotch grab and hip thrust, ladies. ONE.

This sounds good. I've been on a weird little trawl online which covered bell hooks, the Common Loon, one of my fave ever punk songs, young Michael, staywild thoughts triggered by photos of Michael with hands in pockets ... er, what else? Random bits of poetry, oh yeah, Ta - Nehesi Coates being pretentious about Michael (I'm always trying to find out what people have said about him and has anyone said anything intelligent about him that doesn't descend into the inevitable hoo-ha around false accusations).

And now I'm back in Manhood. For a while anyway. I can tell my router is on borrowed time. I've probably got about 10 minutes, lol.

Oh, it's one of my fave bits of TII. His clothes are to die for, he looks gorgeous, he's just in the zone. Love it.

I... Oh God... I am so in love with "boyfriend material" Michael, who for me is any Off the Wall/Thriller look... Here's how I think this would work.

OTW Michael would always call, always show up, go all out for my birthday, make my parents love him, and I'd compare all future boyfriends to him. He was the one that got away.

Thriller Michael would be a total sweetheart, but would sometimes forget I exist. But then when he finally remembered and showed up, I would be so charmed by him I'd forget I was ever mad in the first place. It would continue on like this for an endless cycle until finally I confessed my love for him and he'd break up with me, out of kindness, knowing he couldn't be the best boyfriend right now. Yes, I said kindness. I am so charmed by Thriller Michael that even being dumped by him is a joy.

Now, Bad Michael (I actually think this is between Bad and Dangerous, but still)... Bad Michael is NOT boyfriend material. He storms into your life, a tornado of curls, sweat, and sex, and destroys everything you held close and dear, but you don't even care because MY GOD HAVE YOU SEEN HIM.

Bad Michael would make me lose all sense of self. Forget my own name. Sign away my life. Give up on reality completely. Thriller Michael x 100, but instead of me confessing my love, thus resulting in a clear setting of boundaries and ultimately me saving my sanity, I would stuff it all down eternally out of my 'staywild' desperation to never say goodbye to the absolute TORNADO of him, and I would eventually end up institutionalized.

This is all just conjecture, of course.

The more likely reality is that all three Michaels would friend zone the shit out of me and I'd write endless droves of dramatic poetry and share it with him for lyrical inspiration, then (if he actually used anything from it), I would just listen to the song over and over and cry all lovelorn into my pillow, then feel guilty and gross for loving him from afar (and all the sex thoughts too, what a creep I am in this... he's just a friend, after all!). But the even more likely reality, on top of friend zoning me, is that he would also hate my poetry.

Sigh.

Posting this here cos not sure where I want to put it. There are 4 threads for the Ebony photo shoot but they are all very short with no active photos or links and I can't get excited about bumping any of them. I can move it to Fave Video if people would prefer that. My only reservation there is, it's not a thread I go back to whereas here on Manhood I do sometimes look back over recent pages and revisit stuff that's been posted.

If anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears.

A while back sw23 posted a video clip of Michael (at Disneyland?) and he was approached by someone wanting an autograph. I've posted a couple of gifs from this video clip and I've been looking for them ever since. I've found the first one but still can't find the other one. So frustrating. Anyway, am posting this one. I love it so much. I am mesmerised by his eyes in this one. Beautiful.

Oh no, don't want an avatar. I love my black circle. LOVE it. Not giving that up! Love the design of it and everything.

I kind of get what you mean about this photo not being quite Manhood and yet I disagree (politely!). He looks extremely manly here and that's what makes it a Manhood photo for me. There is nothing obviously Manhood but it is so Phwoar!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you get my drift, lol.

NO I GET IT!

It's the absolute intensity! When I watched Motown 25 earlier it wrecked in a million different emotional ways. But something I could not get past was the absolute FIRE in his eyes while he performed. It was burning through him. This pic isn't quite as intense as that was (for me) but it feels like the early stages of inferno and I am so here for it!

Also, any reference to TWYMMF will always be manhood for me. ALWAYS. Whew.
